Uh, yeah. At best, the image show What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?. But it doesn't even illustrate that well.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Completely agreed. Not only is the trope not about superpowers, it's about one gift out of a group being disappointing to the receiver, not all of them.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Huh, not every day you see a Sonic the Comic image on here.
Not that this excuses the current image. If it weren't for the caption I would have no idea what it was illustrating - and the superheroes don't seem too fussed about how awful their powers are from the image cited.
Moon◊No image suggestions. So is this a petition to remove it, or what?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I'd be fine with a removal even without a replacement. At best, it represents everyone getting a lame "gift" which is misleading... or it's just referring to the snowman, which is What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?. Either way, it's confusing.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. The current is a bad image. It's actively misleading, completely reliant on the caption, and poor quality (the text is illegibly small). That's three strikes against it. It should be removed even if we don't find something toreplace it with.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I think the image is a example of Blessed with Suck anyway. Should I cut it?

I say yes, pull it.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Done(I have no idea how to get captions working right)

Little over an hour since the thread was started, and it didn't start with any suggestions or calls to action. Pulled way too fast, invalid OP.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.and that was a mod that said pull it...
And it's been said the image isn't even this trope in any way, shape, or form.

...then making a case for it to be pulled should have been super easy.
v That is true if, by "we", you mean "several other people but not me". Just saying something is misleading is not the same as saying it should be pulled. And there are only a few unique posters so far in this thread, 4-0 is not overwhelming consensus. I agree it's bad, just: there is no hurry.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. We did, everyone in the thread said it needed to go because it didn't fit the trope in any way.
I fully support the pull, for both quality issues and not fitting the trope.
I looked at the webcomic examples and neither of the ones with links work well for making into a page pic, at least to me.

I don't know what the previous illustrates so I am fine with a pull there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI also give full support for the pull. That image illustrates nothing
Rodney, The criteria for what makes a page image bad enough to pull without replacement is suggested in this post. Everyone in that thread agreed with those criteria. "Bad Image, Can be pulled without replacement" has 11 possible reasons (2 are mutually exclusive: "too large" and "too small" which means that only 10 can apply to any one image) and requires that the image meet several of them. This image met 5 of them — fully half.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Yes, but only four people had posted and only an hour had passed. I am not saying it shouldn't have been pulled—of course not, it's terrible—but that was way too fast. Couple responses defending that it was done at all, but that is not what I mean; it's the way it was done.
Also the OP didn't say anything about pulling the image, or why (besides "it misled me"); that was left to other people.
v No! No reason not to be specific. Those things do not mean the same thing, and it doesn't insult anyone's intelligence to explain what you mean.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I kinda don't like assuming Viewers Are Morons when posting here and hope people can infer that saying a image is misleading/doesn't show the trope at all means it needs to go.

I think saying it's misleading is saying it's pullable, unless you also write it's justifiable somehow (e.g. Visual Pun).
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, the OP explicitly pointed out that the image is misleading. Even if it's not explicitly stated in the post, it functionally states "This image breaks one of the rules about what makes a good picture; what should we do about it?"
Reaction Image RepositoryWell, if we're looking for a new image, how about this◊?
Boy Scouts ½: the most gratuitous self insert fic, ever! Read, if you dare!
My New Gift Is Lame
The image kinda lead me to think this was specifically about being given a shitty super power when I first opened the page, it's kind of misleading.
