@Headphone: Ooh, manga!Rei? Awesome~ ^_^
...Now I'm really tempted to go with Minako or Usagi... Hmmm. ...And I know that I'm probably also going with Wakaba so, um... Hmmm.
...Just not sure whether I should go with a Sailor Senshi or one of my own original designs, ahahah. >.<
And away we gooo....
- Name: Akane Isshiki
- Age: 14
- Gender: Female
- Appearance:
- Personality: Akane is known for her bright and positive attitude and her overflowing energy that cheers up those who are around her. She also has a strong sense of responsibility for those who need help, and will never abandon them no matter the circumstance. It does not mean that she is not vulnerable to sadness, however, as she is rather prone to being down when she is unable to help others, especially when she is held back by her fear of heights. note
She also really likes mayonnaise, to the point of practically smothering anything else she eats in it. - Abilities:
- A few basic buffs to strength and endurance (to the point where she can survive being hit by a laser beam that later blew up a tank; although this did leave her in a coma for the subsequent episode), along with flight capability.
- Equipment:
- Flying bike: Owns the only flying bike in the world, which she calls Wanko. This might be something to do with having a certifiably Mad Scientist for a grandfather.
- Transformation Trinket: Red Operation Key◊.
- Weapon: Naked Rang: Akane's personal weapon as a user of the Vivid System, in the form of a foldable boomerang that has the same color scheme as her Palette Suit. When thrown with enough force, it can spin at blinding speeds and has enough strength to open a wide gash on an Alone's armor.
- Skills:
- Able to throw a newspaper into a letterbox from the back of a moving hoverbike through a parked car.
- Also able to hold her own against a seasoned Kendo veteran despite never having studied the art before.
- Miscellaneous: (Optional)
- Franchise: Vividred Operation

"Yup. That tasted purple."@ Grey Star Regarding https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13732536400A77946300&page=1#16:
Kyoko of To Love Ru has actual Playing with Fire powers, but the only magical girl activity she does is acting in a magical girl show. Still not acceptable?
(I'm keen on playing someone other than the usual suspects, sorry. I'll go with an OC if Kyoko isn't acceptable)

Okay, so.
You know that OC Magical Girl? The black, bug-themed one? I've started writing the script for the pilot episode of a show about her (in which she battles adorable fluffy alien monsters and Eldritch Abominations and government conspiracies and stuff), so!
I dunno whether to finish her character template and still sign up for this game using her, or instead focus on that project. On the one hand, she brings something new to whatever I use her for, on the other... argh, I dunno!
Which would you guys prefer? It may or may not affect my decision. o_O;

@Deadbeat: Accepted!
@Filler: Oh, Kyoko works then.
@Even: Whatever you want.
Also accepted character list is up.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.- Name: Kirisaki Kyoko
- Age: 17
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: Ta-da.
- Personality: She's your typical friendly, modest, and hardworking idol. Hates perverts a lot.
- Abilities: Pyrokinesis
- Equipment: None.
- Skills: Singing, acting— showbiz stuff in general. Household chores too, somewhat.
- Miscellaneous: She isn't an actual magical girl— she has the powers, but she's only used them for SFX in her show. So you can only imagine what will happen when the mahou shoujo thing stops being a role and becomes more... practical.
- Franchise: To Love Ru
Might make an OC later.

So, uh... Here we go! Hopefully Wakaba's will be up later. ...Although I still kind of really want to use an OC magical girl too... Gaaah... >.<
- Name: Tsukino Usagi / Sailor Moon
- Age: 14
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: Dumpling head◊. "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"
- Personality: A lazy, clumsy, ditzy crybaby who's none too smart. She's usually rather cheerful though, and is generally friendly to anyone she comes across as long as they don't act like a jerk. Usagi tries to see the best in people and can at times come off as a little overtrusting, although it's clear that her heart is in the right place. She refuses to kill innocent humans, even when they have been turned into monsters, and instead tries to look for ways to heal them.
- Abilities: Clumsy, lazy and an acadamic underachiever. So... Not much going for her, really.
- Equipment: In addition to her Transformation Brooch, Usagi also has her Disguise Pen, which allows her to magically create disguises for herself.
- Skills: I'll just link here and leave it at that for now.
- Miscellaneous: Nothing I can think of at the moment.
- Franchise: Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
Might as well finish the trio. >.>
- Name: Ami Mizuno / Sailor Mercury
- Age: 14
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: Ami◊, Mercury◊
- Personality: In a nutshell, Shy Blue-Haired Girl. She’s always had problems making friends and so has spent most of her time studying instead. The problem is that most of her classmates confused this shy withdrawal for arrogance instead, causing them to avoid her and in a way making the whole cycle self-perpetuating.
The upshot of this is that she’s considered the smart member of the Senshi team; something compounded by the fact she’s usually the level-headed and reasonable one. - Abilities: Might as well just link this like everyone else. >.>
- Equipment:
- Skills: Ami’s a skilled swimmer, fitting her water-affiliated powers, and chess player.
- Miscellaneous:
- Franchise: Sailor Moon
Name: Taro Uesaka
Age: 16
Gender: Male, becomes female with transformation (and sometimes gets stuck that way).
Appearance: 'Normal' Taro isn't seen as often as he'd like,◊When not fighting evil, Taro's often stuck this way., Transformed!
Personality: Thick headed and stubborn would be appropriate words to describe Taro. At times he has a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts straight in the face if they would contradict his opinion. Despite this rigidity he's actually decently friendly if at times cynical. He's generally happy to pitch in for a friend, putting them above himself. Taro also gets easily flustered and embarrassed, especially now that he's stuck in girl form more often than he'd prefer.
Abilities: When transformed Taro's powers are drawn from channeling an odd bluish energy into various forms. On the offensive it can be formed into a sword of pure energy or to amplify his transformation ring-turned-blade. The former has the potential to cause more damage but requires much more focus of limited quantities of energy. Amplification of the ring-blade is less powerful but can last a deal longer. It can also be formed into a ball of force and hurled at a foe from range, increasing the potential for destruction but also utilizing the most energy.
For defensive purposes the energy can be formed into a firm shield; Taro cannot attack while making use of this particular ability. For a lower energy drain the shield is simply personal, or transferred to another single person. At greater cost it can become a temporary wall of force. Theoretically the powers could become easier to use as Taro's power grows with finer attunement to the power source. Being not terribly thrilled about turning into a girl to use his powers, Taro is likely to face a very uphill battle to achieve such a feat.
Equipment: Taro uses a ring bearing his personal magical girl emblem to transform. By all accounts just looks like.. well, a regular, kind of junky ring. Post-transformation it morphs into a sword which can be used for energy channeling as described above.
Skills: Vastly knowledgeable regarding video games, one of his favorite hobbies. Taro is a master of the culinary arts, provided that by 'culinary arts' you mean 'microwave, then eat'. He's also fairly dexterous thanks to being involved in athletics - gymnastics specifically.
Miscellaneous: The ring which allows Taro to access his powers is a fickle thing. Sometimes it doesn't fully transform him back from magical girl form. Meaning that it's not uncommon for him to end up looking the same as that form, just in normal clothing. As for why his girl form resembles a certain video game princess? That's what happens when the ring's mystical powers accessed Taro's mind to find an appropriate form.
Franchise: OC
(Hopefully this isn't too bad, sorry it took so long to cobble together!)

Avatar from: http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/5953.html N: 5 F, 0/40 SInterested. I'll post later. Or maybe right now! X3 I'm getting into magical girl animes as I was rewatching Card Captor and Nanoha.
...Man I'm excited. I should be sleeping. >.<
Here's a translated version of that girl.
- Name: Noa Cordovero.
- Age: 19.
- Gender: Female.
- Appearance: Well, what do we have here? (Untransformed); I will bisect you! (Transformed, with Moralltach.)
- Personality: Introverted. Noa prefers being by herself, thinking about things or taking them apart to see how they look inside. Because she in a sense lives inside her own thoughts, she comes off as somewhat emotionless, but that is not the case; she simply ignores the outside world for the most time. When she does respond, however, it tends to be in big bursts of emotion, whether positive (squeeing when a new book by Tolkien is published to her eternal delight) or negative (threatening to bisect people who harass her, complete with screams of rage and curses in all of the languages she knows and some she doesn't).
At first, Noa wasn't interested in fighting, neglecting her powers, but when a rogue mahou shoujo killed Noa's best friend and burned Noa's collection of Tolkien-related books to boot, she decided she could stand aside no longer, and started fighting humanity's foes with a passion that surprised all that knew her, even herself, ever looking for the rogue who killed her friend and burned her books. - Abilities: Noa is an Aigis, a mahou shoujo whose powers stem from her personality.
- Moralltach, the Just Sword: A magically-created Absurdly Sharp Blade, Morallatach's edge remains sharp as long as Noa desires to take things apart and becomes sharper proportionally to her will to cut something. It is said to be related to the great hero Diarmuid Ua Duibhne's sword, but that is probably not true.
- The Aegis: Noa's magical armour. Rather than absorb strikes, it deflects them; the more Noa ignores an attack, the less of it gets through. That is the reason she's rather hard to harm from behind, or by a surprise attack; conversely, the Aegis is almost worthless against Nanoha-style magical lasers. It is named after Athena's shield.
- The White Swordswoman: Magic related to swordsmanship, stemming from the thought-constructs that are Noa's major pastime. As long as she holds the required construct in her mind, she can do things otherwise impossible with her sword — for example, uppercutting people and launching them to the air, hitting a foe continuously while that foe is airborne, even leaving ghost images of her sword in its trajectory. Of course, the more implausible a certain thing is, it takes more concentration.
- Equipment: Aside from Moralltach and the Aegis, which are magical and are stored in Hammerspace when Noa is untransformed, she carries a small locket. Inside it is the picture of her best friend, and it is her Transformation Trinket; to transform, she opens it and invokes her other self with the words 'I am the thousand birds' wings'.
- Skills: Good memory. Able to envision complex mental structures. Quite agile. Has a knack for taking things apart. Bad with people, good with books; she somewhat dabbles in book restoration.
- Misc.: Her best friend, Sasha, is Deader than Dead, having had her soul eaten by a fiend after she was killed by a rogue mahou shoujo.
- Franchise: OC; an adaptation of this charming girl.
@Deadbeat, Moe, Bomb, Filler, and Des: Accepted! Loving the variations!
The main rp will be up either today or tomorrow. XD
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Grey Star: I do believe I said I would be switching to a different character from the same franchise due to personal feelings on whether I can pull off playing two characters (since the girl I wanted to use can't transform alone and I'd have to play her partner as well). I'll post their bio later.

Ah, okay. Thanks for telling me.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Hopefully I'll have my character up soon, eh-heh.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Hmmmmmm, still can't pick one... Also I take offense at Usagi having no talent! Not only is a she a Sailor with the ability to rewrite reality and bring back the dead, but she's also a top-class frisbee thrower!
Exist, pursued by bear@Karrin: If you still can't pick, you can always create an OC, eheh.
Also pushing the main thread creation to tomorrow due to business. ^^.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.ALSO HERE IS MY FINISHED CHARACTER: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13732536400A77946300&page=2#40
Edited my original sign up. Same franchise and show but a different character. This one can transform alone.
@Chariot: Accepted yet again!
@Eventua: Unfortunately, no. It looks like you just made an entirely different character for an entirely different RP.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.But she's human. And she has a transformation sequence! And her outfit is girly and stuff.
What should I change about her, then?
You who else fits that description? As an example, Urara Ozu from Mahou Sentai Magiranger, along with most other female Super Sentai characters. Yet they are categorically not Magical Girls.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Then... what defines a Magical Girl? What do I alter?
For starters I'm not seeing any actual magic in her powerset, so much as "used as a guinea pig by a race of alien bugs who were Playing with Syringes".
"Yup. That tasted purple."
@Headphone and Rain: Accepted!
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.
