Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Another page: Main Damage Control. Mostly OK (crosswicking aside, but that's the second tier problem), but the launcher wanted to bring it to Damage Control.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSelf-Made Myth got launched after four days and one hat. Trope and most examples look legit, but I think it could've used a bit more discussion, both about its name and definition.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I agree. Unlaunch would be good.
MST.
For starters, it has a bad name. I'm still not sure how I stumbled across this one, but I do know I mistook it for an abbreviation of some sort of sexual tension trope, and without the 3k, it has no obvious connection to Mystery Science Theatre 3000, and it can't be called MS T3k. For another, its description is very long winded and is a bit confusing, and there is no YKTTW that I can see.
So, at the very least, rename it and use something that doesn't rely on MS T3k.

That page has almost 980 inbounds. Not only isn't it a recently launched page, but it needs to go to TRS.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, something with 900+ inbounds and 300+ wicks is outside the purview of this thread. Also, I'll note that the page, based on the archived discussion, was probably started before YKTTW as we know it existed.
Do Not Mess With Time. Created in March 2012 by someone who didn't know about YKTTW etc.. Can very safely be cut and not sent to YKTTW, since "universe implosion following time travel" can be covered under Reality-Breaking Paradox, Time Crash, and Temporal Paradox as appropriate.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. The fact that you are citing three tropes at once makes me kind of question that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe fact that I'm citing three tropes at once means that I'm lazy and skimming their descriptions and therefore citing several to cover my bases. :P
Hm. I was misreading the Do Not Mess With Time page at first, it seems; the universe kills you specifically when you want to mess with it, not everyone. That sounds new. Related to what the Clock Roaches do, only roaches are not necessarily involved.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I guess that that fellow made the page because they didn't know of Clock Roaches.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think that page might have come up before, with a vote for cutting. Also, I would say that if anyone wants to take it through YKTTW, then it's probably distinct from Clock Roaches, in that the Cloak Roaches may kill just you or everybody, and are some form of creature, whereas Do Not Mess With Time sounds like it would be some form of killing just the time traveler, which may or may not involve Clock Roaches.

A new page: Creator.Uwe Boll. Reporting it as last time we tried to have a page on that, the admin said no.
To be fair, not having a page on him apparently never stopped any complaining about his works on the wiki, but it will need at least some locking.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan this thread help Paranormal Investigation, or does that need TRS? It has a lot of examples but nearly all are zero context and one example even asks if it counts.
It seems it's some weird cross between a genre page (which would be legitimate, but which are usually a brief description and an index) and a trope, in which case I'd say it is redundant to Occult Detective.
Paranormal Investigation has been around since 2011.
As for Do Not Mess With Time, I guess we can ask teh creating troper if they want to pull it through YKTTW, and if no (or no response), just cutlist it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEvil Pervert is a stub with zero examples and no YKTTW. While I think there is merit to the concept of "character is a sexual pervert, thus they must be evil"/"if a character is a sexual pervert, expect them to turn out to be evil", I also think it needs to be sent to YKTTW for major refinement.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Just cutlist it and message the creating troper. I've had luck with the troper who made Clown Car this way.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCutlisted, and PM has been sent.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.A new page: XJ. Is it actually on-purpose to have pages like that?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI want to say "no", but I'm not absolutely positive. It doesn't seem to be worth a page (especially with no tropes attached), at first glance.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpConsidering that we already have a page for the channel Tats Tops Videos of which XJ is a mascot, I think that the work page about the channel is sufficient to cover the topic of XJ.

Agreed.
yagitakeru launched Hyper Mode with only two examples and what seems like a "but more" definition.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman... And one of those examples isn't even entirely correct. (Well, it would fit the proposed trope, but some of the non-essential stuff is just wrong.) I vote cutlist.
OK, messaged the tropers, cutlisted the page and moved its content to a sandbox page.
I know how the URL works, btw.
