Adventure Time: “Web Weirdos,” it’s kind of gross and the spider characters just are not compelling. At all. Also, anything with Lemongrab. Why does such an annoying, shrill and unpleasant character have a fan base? Trolls deliberately trying to ruin the show by having him return again and again? If so, mission accomplished. I hoped never to see him again after “Too Young,” which got my vote for the worst episode up to that point.

[up][up]I think it's more just the concept of a dimwitted Straw Loser being so unused to the idea of having superiority over someone, just they kinda fail to restrain the concept and make the characters look like complete assholes rather than just giving them an egotistical moment.

You've kinda reminded me how I'm not very fond of "I'm With Stupid" from the latter show.

[up]Sort of. When he thought Frylock gave him a real brain, he got snippy at Frylock, but then he went on to make physics his bitch by developing TK powers and making devices that let you walk through walls. Just par for the course for the Aqua Teens.

"Humiliation 101" takes a close second, alongside "Call Hating" for further making Jenny look more unlikable than Maggie Pesky in my eyes, which is unacceptable.
I don't see what's so bad about Jenny in those episodes. Both of them had her reacting to things in ways pretty predictable for a teenager (which, well, makes sense, given the show's title) and not particularly going off the deep end. The only sin for the first one that I can think of is that it's an incredibly boring episode, and as for the second one, maybe that it introduced that pointless "new guy" character voiced by Jason Marsden that, if I recall correctly, was never seen again despite being given so much focus in the episode.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.

I feel bad for Bill Dauterive, so any episode that gives him something other than crushing, relentless misery is a win in my book, including the "Deluge" episode, or the one where he finds out that the government was drugging him (but really weren't, he was in the control group).

To that end, i dislike the one where Bill plays Santa Claus, goes overboard, then gets that teenage moocher/thief living with him, where the lesson seems to be that Bill only functions when Hank tells him what to do. There was a late episode (where Bill gets roommates) that attempted the same thing, but by then the show had hit its Denser and Wackier phase, so the plot itself was hilarious enough to make up for the depressing Aesop.

[up]This is why I generally dislike The Complainer Is Always Wrong type shows where one same character is always having their key traits conveyed negatively and always causing problems when they try to do things on their own and get handed An Aesop in a usually patronizing manner, especially if there's a double standard involved and the rest of the cast are enabled to run amok as much as they want with no repercussions, despite the lesson always being they are justified acting as a condescending babysitter to this idiot character.

In fact most of my examples here actually seem to be a result of this, particularly American Dad and Sonic Satam.

I have only limited memories of Captain Planet and after looking at how it's described on this site, I'm kinda glad to.

I've always viewed The Mighty B with much anger and ire (a ripoff of an overrated Nicktoon made by a goddamn hack I'm glad isn't doing much anymore but whining like a little bitch...) - but that Halloween episode for it and how it ended was the true final straw for me. So damn glad this show is as unpopular as it is, if only because of that Halloween episode alone.

I hated The Simpsons episode where Mary Poppin's Expy cousion appears. And to add insult to injury, i also hated the episode where Lisa plays as an Evita-like school president. IN SONG. And All Singing All Dancing could be the worst one I saw, with all the FUCKING ANNOYING MUSICAL NUMBERS ONLY. Off topic of musical episodes, I also hated the episode where Maude dies. Homer picks up a bobby pin. T-Shirt cannon hits her. She falls and dies. HOMER IS THE FUCKING MURDERER!!!! [angry]

Anyway, I hate "Silent Angelica" from Rugrats, with a passion.

@Hitman: I admit I didn't like the fact they openly made Homer completely responsible for Maude's death, and what's more through his usual Easily Forgiven stupidity and selfishness. There's a line between a 'loveable dumb jerk' and a retarded sociopath that belongs more in Sadist Show.

All Singing All Dancing probably goes in my books too, I tend not to like the musical numbers, though the Mary Poppins episode was over the top and cynical enough to be humorous. I can't really say for the Evita episode since it was made during the point I started to think Seasonal Rot had taken over, so probably doesn't fall into here.

@The Shop Soldier: I understand that feeling. There are multiple shows that really irritate me, but largely because they aren't bad generally, they just have hap hazardous execution that ruins an otherwise great concept.

[up][up] Noted for Victory... FUCKING NINJAS.

Am I the only one who thinks Rugrats in general went downhill after Season 5 and Dil's intro?

Seriously, if I had to judge on a grand scale, ANYTHING after Season 5 of Rugrats in general is forgettable at best, to downright unwatchably lame at worst.

[up]Things were starting to fall apart, but I remember the odd funny episode, mostly ones that focus on something stupid the adults are doing (eg. the one they try to copy everything the babies do as a bet) which goes back the humor of the original seasons more. Granted I didn't think Dil was that bad.

I think even most of the die hard fans of Sonic Satam admit the Antoine shorts were mostly trite.

Would it be incredibly blasthemus to say I didn't like "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" of Friendship Is Magic? The Villain Song was annoying and dragged on ridiculously, and it was pretty much the point I realized Applejack couldn't hold an episode by herself anymore. Add to that they still squeezed in another Jerkass Butt-Monkey role for RD despite not even being her episode (which seemed a really bad time considering the previous line up) and even kinda compromised her loyalty redeeming aspect.

Oh, "Wottles" is probably another disliked The Dreamstone episode. They actually created a Cast Herd ten times more saccharine than the Noops and another gratuitously lengthy Kick Them While They Are Down scene for the Urpneys (which was especially annoying since this was during a point they seemed to be toning the heroes down and implying they couldn't pull that crap anymore). No really amusing Urpney humor to compensate either.

While I'm not a true "Fairly Oddparents" fan -it's not really my kind of humor- I'm more than willing to give it kudos for inventiveness (unlike say, Teen Titans Go!.) But I REALLY hated the episode that parodied "It's A Wonderful Life". At first I thought it was an intentional lesson that he was being taught, and it would be revealed in the end that no, everything would not truly have been better for everyone if Timmy had never existed. But (if I remember correctly) that wasn't the case. And that part where he was almost thrown down to Hell? How family-friendly! The Aesop alone and its consequences would be really depressing -if the show had any true continuity that is (I don't think it was ever referenced again.)

That babysitting episode from Sabrina's Secret Life. That episode teaches a lot of aesops, some good but mostly bad. The good aesops are "Adults aren't useless", "never organize a party in your house if you didn't get a permission" and "taking care of a baby is a huge responsability", then there are more unfriendly aesops: "When you're 14 you still need a babysitter", "Babies are horrible, annoying creatures which can only poop, cry and eat" and "without adults, kids are useless".

Number one fan of characters that appear only once and ultimately were a recurring character either in disguise or trying a new image.
