Weird Pairings

What are some of the weird pairings you've ever seen in a fanfiction?

For me, there are some pretty weird total drama ones:

• the infamous Ale Pineapple Cargo Ship

• Izzy/Chef. yep, this exists. MY EYES!

• Chef/Duncan

• Mike/Scott

Blaz Blue: Ragna/Tsubaki. Haven't gotten around to reading it yet, but I know it's there.

Code Geass: Nina and Table-kun.

Actually running, kind of, Yuuno and Uno. Or will be shortly.

Haven't seen many others I wished to commit to memory. Seem to recall an Asuka/one of the male Evangelion bridge bunnies, but can't remember details.

Fun fact: Asuka's and Makoto's voice actors are/were-at-one-point married. As were Rei's and Shigeru's. And as were Shinji's and Maya's.

Goku/Anne Frank. No question on that one.

So I was thinking of which person I could pair Riku so since I started to play Touhou and then I thought that Flandre Scarlet could be a good match, for some reason.

In fact I'm even thinking of synopsis of a fic: "He's a white-haired pretty boy who mastered the powers of darkness for great justice. She's a 495-years old psychotic vampire girl who likes to overkill, intentionally or not. Together, they fight crime!"

Link and Amaterasu. He's a legendary hero who defends the country of Hyrule. She's the Shinto goddess of the sun who defends Nippon. They fight crime. (Then, to get it ready for Hollywood, make it in New York City).

yeah. I've seen Hitler/Romney recently too.

HOW SUBTLE.

Gets more interesting when those fics are written by conservatives...

The ones who think Romney's a plant who only wants their votes so he can go back to his centrist ways the minute he's in office? Or the ones who genuinely think he's got their best interests at heart?

I don't think the latter would pair him up with Hitler to begin with...

Today I saw the weirdest pairing ever in a Youtube Poop in Portuguese: Yukari Yakumo/John Freeman (I mean, João Freeman).

Yesterday, I found a fanfic that's setting up Roxas and Tomoko Kuroki. The fanfic itself is average, but I guess I'll read it only for the sheer weirdness of the pairing. Detail: the author seems to be serious on it.

Here are some weird pairings I've seen around:

Seeker/Lotz, a pairing between an extremely minor cameo who died immediately and a run-of-the-mill unimportant boss.

Peg/Frankie, I mentioned in the "weird crossovers" thread. Basically, someone old enough to be a mom of a tween in the early nineties with someone in her early twenties in the beginning of the 21st century, so they likely have a two-and-a-half decade age difference. That and Frankie is a human and Peg is not quite a human.

Soren/Link, a bizarre Ship Mate for SSB players who ship Marth/Roy and Ike/Pit. While these other pairings also don't make sense, at least they interact within SSB. Soren, however, has only interacted with one of the people in this group, Ike, while Link is just a random person.

I found fanart of Dib from Invader Zim and Big Macintosh from My Little Pony once...
