Random Thought: A Lighter And Softer Take On Gaim...
Complicating that, however, is that invessification—as the process is called—is heavily debated. This leads to ideologues forming terrorist groups. One, the former Yggdrasil Corporation, is violently anti-Invess; the other, Righteous Invess Dancers Espousing Reform Benefiting All Recipients ONward (RIDER BARON), sees invessification as a sacrament which absolves humans of their vices, and which should be given to every human on the planet, whether they like it or not.
This is the story of the organization Really Innocent Dancers Espousing Reform Get Along IMmediately (RIDER GAIM) and their attempts to reconcile the two sides...

I actually had a similar idea, though it'd be a B Plot with the A Plot being Rarity actually finding a way to bring back Pinkie Pie. Hint: Eclipses are involved.

Does it involve mirrors?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOr rings?
Yes. Rarity becomes the Weissmare.

So I'm still thinking on my Shin Megami Tensei / Kamen Rider crossover idea.
- I think I may go with a Zawame City type location. The location will likely be named Tatsumi Port Island in name, but possess aspects of Amami City, and maybe some other fictional places from the series.
- Riders will not be the result of one group, but multiple groups (along the Law, Neutral, and Chaos alignments naturally), each vying for power and influence in the city, and wanting to use the powers of the Demons and Angels either to improve the world, reset it, or just control it (along with said Demons and Angels having their own plans of course).
- The Riders belts will be a combination of regular belts and the demons summoning Comps from across the Series for the most part, but some will be less technologically oriented
- There will different classes of Riders, based on different ways to summon Demons:
1) Some Riders have Demons fused with them, but use the belts to prevent said demon from taking over their bodies, and bringing out the power in a controlled manner, allowing them to change. These guys will be called Demon Riders. There is always a risk with Demon riders of fusing too well with the Demon however.
2) Some will create Belts that mimic the function, with different control units ( such as Cell phones or Smart Phones installed with the demon summoning app. Officially, the suits will be known as StrangeJourney Demonicas, but for the most part, these guys will be called Armoured Riders. The Armoured Riders will also receive the benefit of The Harmonizer, which will make humans and demons in synch and weaken the latters attacks, while letting the former do more damage.
3) There are also people who don't need to be fused with Demons to access their power, and can, for one reason or another summon them naturally. Some will have something inside their bodies that let them call demons on their own, while others will possess the Wild Card, which lets them call many demons with only their own body and will. More to the point, they can change forms and attributes of their powers. The belts will be custom made to accommodate these powers. I don't have a name for them yet, but I'll probably call one of them Kamen Rider Persona although the name is admittedly redundant since Persona and Kamen both mean Mask.
There might be an alternate world, equivalent to the Mirror world Helheim, and the the Schwarzwelt. This will likely be the source of the Demons.
As for whether it takes place after the end or before, I may have multiple Timelines in play as well, with some of the factions hailing from a world where they won, but everything is still in flux, so they have to battle in the current timeline to make their world a fact.
This is all still pretty rough so far. I have a few ideas for characters, and as for rider forms, I'm thinking of making my own, it's just a matter of picturing what they look like (which will be a bit hard). I still gotta finish IV, as well as look up some of the other games on Youtube to get some good ideas.
I have finished watching Faiz recently, and am about to do Double now. I need many series to draw inspiration from, as the belts will all use different devices for calling weapons, using finishers, and summoning demons; Usb sticks, cards, Rings, etc. In addition to the Phone often just being used to call them up.
Oh, I almost forgot. There will be at least one rider or two riders who might not fit the categories I brought up, being something all there own. One will be a classic Cyborg, along side a Rider who is actually two humans fused together themselves with the demons only supplying spells for form changes and finishers.
And that's it for now I think.

One Strip! One Strip! One month without internet, and I see you guys are having fun.
Also, that Trojan War x Kamen Rider thing... Fan-Fucking-Tastic.
Damn, think of the potential of these ideas inputted into other myths, like King Arthur, or Susano'O vs Orochi myth (see Okami for reference) with the Kusanagi being a Lockseed... Damn.
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.Incidentally, I did see that Rising Unto the Stars updated. I just haven't had time to look at it yet.
Third Kamen Rider Iliad snippet. This, again, has heavy Gaim spoilers. Also slight spoilers for the Trojan war.
“Wh… Who are you!?” Helen got up and covered herself in sheets.
“Someone who you need in order to figure out what’s going on.” Ophis said.
“What’s happening? I feel… weak…” Helen stumbled and landed on her bed.
“First off, congratulations on becoming the Woman of the Beginning! Not a lot of people can admit that! Second, your body is adjusting to the Golden Fruit bonding with you. Eventually, you will be the one who will have the world in the palm of her hands, rivalling that of the gods!” Ophis said.
“I don’t want to be a god! I want peace for my city!” Helen said. Ophis shook his head.
“Sorry, but it’s time for this civilization to evolve. And that means destruction for this entire world.” Ophis said. Helen’s eyes widened and tears began to take hold.
“N-no! Why is this happening!?” Helen hyperventilated.
“Because that is how evolution works. But… I’ll tell you this: I’ve been known to tip the scales from time to time, but I won’t do it without a good reason to.” Ophis said.
“How can you tip the scales?” Helen said. Ophis walked around her room as he began to explain.
“You’re the Woman of the Beginning, therefore you have the role of handing the fruit to the future Man of the Beginning. Unfortunately, hundreds upon hundreds of men will fight to their dying breath to grab hold of it. Many of those men seem unworthy to obtain it. But you can scale those numbers down and tell me who is worthy to obtain it.” Ophis said.
“How?” Helen asked.” Ophis stopped and pointed two fingers to her.
“Name me two people you want saved, and I will do everything in my power to ensure they’ll live until the bitter end… Till the world is dyed in their image…” Ophis said.
“Paris! I want Paris to be saved!” Helen blurted out. Ophis smiled.
“A wise decision. I had my bets on him too. But… I need a second name.” Ophis said.
“… I… Hec-” Helen muttered. She tried to say a name, but Ophis wagged his finger.
“I’m sorry. Only living people.” He said. Helen remained silent for a bit before she spoke.
“Then you'll have no one else to save. Please, save Paris. Save Troy!” Helen said. Ophis walked off.
“I can only promise you so much. In the end, it’s up to fate to decide who obtains the Golden Fruit.” Ophis smiled, waved to Helen, and disappeared in a blue light.

Then out of nowhere, Gilgamesh came, ate the third of the fruit he needed to be fully god, and left the rest lying around. Again...

Enkidu is an Overlord who was befriended (by that, I mean he got his ass kicked) by Gil, then they do wacky stuffs together.
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.Enkidu's likes include soccer, apples and hair dye.
There should be a comedy movie about Gilly's adventures with Enkidu.
Of course, considering the quality of today's comedy movies...
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.Okay. Anyone here who has NOT watched Samurai Flamenco, do so. I don't care if it's an anime instead of live-action, that series is still thematically relevant for this thread!
Still brainstorming my Shin Megami Tensei / Kamen Rider crossover idea. Some new stuff:
Since I'm currently watching double, and thinking about some of the mechs that Shoutarou, Phillip, and Ryuu use, it got me to thinking if such an idea would work in this as well.
There's also Watermelon Arms and the tulip hopper, the Powerdizer and the two Mini-Mecha that primarily inspired the idea the Auto Vajin and Side Basshar.
So then I remembered that there are two known robot girls in the Persona series.
So it came to me that Aigis, labrys, and even Metis (not really a robot girl, but I can change that for this story) could be like the A.I.'s for these mechs. They might be able to transfer their minds into the robot bodies for combat purposes, and use their more human like forms when not in battle.
How's that grab you guys?
Also, now I'm thinking of a joke story where Malika fights the Hopper Dopant.
~Sits back to see who gets it~

One Strip! One Strip!Hey gang. I just thought up of something... ambitious.
Been talking about it on Tumblr, figure I'd share it here too.
Basically, it's a Kamen Rider AU where it takes place in the USA... But WAY more serious.
By that, I mean that the story will involve all the political shenanigans the Americans experienced throughout the decades. For example, Apollo Geist was the one who shot JFK. All the Showa Riders will be Americans, starting with Hongo, who is black in this AU of mine. Same goes for Jin Keisuke, which I've named Gene Kennedy.
The only one who remains himself is Tachibana Tobei, who immigrated to the US. Dude's too important and irreplaceable, so he's still the same guy in this AU. Plan is for the theme to be focused on political and racial issues. If the Showa Riders felt like shit since they're no longer human, imagine if that happens in a place where you were never treated as human anyway.
Still a work in progress, not to mention I have a lot of fanfics to finish. But I'm beginning to love the idea of this Kamen Rider USA AU of mine. One thing's for sure, is that I'll start with the first Seven Riders.
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.Sounds way too jingoistic to me.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatEh, I can see some potential in it.
The only one I could see being American and not ruining things would be Stronger.
Or rather, my stance is, change the others however you want, but Hongo Takeshi must always be Hongo Takeshi. He's the cultural landmark, he needs to stay Japanese. He visits America in one of his sojourns, I think the one where his girlfriend stays behind.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatWhat, not even Super-1? Okay, so he's not of the original 7, but he's still a Showa Rider. And he's space-themed, no less! Being set in The '70s - y'know, not that long after the USA Put. A Dude. On. The Fucking. Moon.
I could totally see an American version of Super-1 work. Might be a little odd with his martial-arts thing, but still!
edit:
Okay, I can kind of get behind the "Takeshi Hongo must always be Takeshi Hongo" sentiment. Maybe instead, Stranger, that plotline could be used for USA!Hayato?
edited 8th Nov '14 9:37:12 PM by EvaUnit01
Well, my logic for Stronger was that he's a football player and his name is Joe, you can't get more American than that.
But Hongo has to be Japanese, otherwise you're co-opting, and that's no good.
EDIT: I had forgotten about Super-1 and how he was created by NASA. Making him American would eliminate that horrid Japanese speaking the NASA scientists had in the first episode.

Inspired by a one-off comment in episode 10 of Kamen Rider Kabuto.
Probably counts as Crack Fic. Also admitted garbage.
"A bee is one that stings. A bee that doesn't sting... is worthless!" the ZECT official ominously declared.
"Not really, sir. I mean, bees are a vital component of many natural ecosystems, and they process floral nectar into honey, which, as you know, is very delicious."
The first ZECT official paused for a moment, stunned by what he had just heard. "I was referring to Kagami having been chosen by TheBee Zecter, you twit."
The lower-ranked ZECT official said nothing, lest the higher-ranked official rescind his dental benefits.

The next day, Tendou was coming back to his home, planning to prepare yet another flawless meal for his darling little sister.
As he neared the gate, however, he thought he heard something peculiar.
Coming up to the door, he realized that 'Full Force' was playing as the interior BGM! Since that song only ever accompanied a Kamen Rider kicking ass, Tendou feared the worst for his sister, and kicked the door down to see-
"Rider Sting!"
RIDER STING
-Kamen Rider TheBee thrust his arm-mounted stinger into a giant piece of ham.
"Clock Up!"
CLOCK UP
TheBee then disappeared, as did a knife on the counter. But only for a brief moment, before-
CLOCK OVER
-a serving of perfectly-sliced ham was produced on the table before the young lady of the Tendou household. From just the barest whiff, Tendou could observe that it had somehow been instantly (but perfectly!) glazed with honey.
Before Tendou could attempt to stop his daughter from eating a meal prepared by someone other than himself or Hiyori - Kagami certainly wouldn't poison the girl or anything, but he damned sure wasn't a good enough cook to serve Souji's little sister - she dug in and squealed with delight.
"Delicious! Not as good as anything my big brother makes, but still amazing!"
The wasp-themed Rider nodded with satisfaction, and announced, "Clock Up."
Tendou summoned Kabuto Zecter and was about to confront the pesky plebeian, but
CLOCK UP
wasn't quite fast enough, as TheBee escaped.
"Not for long," Tendou muttered, knowing where Kagami would inevitably go to next.
... or at least he thought he knew, but Kagami wasn't at the diner.
Instead, Tendou found him at a park, manning a mobile vendor of honey-based confections.
"What's the meaning of this?"
Kagami smiled as he manned his booth. "Using the power of TheBee Zecter, I can process nectar from flowers into excellent honey. Honey which I can use to destroy all Worms!"
Tendou frowned. "That... doesn't make any sense at all."
Hiyori, who had just come on the scene, turned around and went back home. "Why me...?"
