No, you're not too late. However... please format your signup into something more readable. Other words, use line breaks (double slashes in the end of the line) or bullet points (asterisks at the beginning of the line) so it won't be a giant jumble of stuff.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI was editing as you spoke. Literally.

OK, let's see. The appearance is fine — it won't be Yu-Gi-Oh! if it weren't Hammy, neh?
The rest of him is fine, too — welcome to Sky dorm (he seems like a real airhead to me). Feel free to drop by the discussion thread (linked in the OP), and once you finish the Archive Binge, the main thread.
- Monotone* yyyyaaaaayyyy]
not to tell you what to do with your deck, but you might want to think about taking out solidarity, from just looking at your deck list I can see 3/4 diffrent types of monsters, and once something gets destroyed your loosing the boost and its takeing up a space on your field. still as i say its up to you.
Welcome to the game

You at the barricade listen to this. Thanks for the tip
I think I'll wait for Arc Two before updating my deck. Its good for my deck to have a few flaws to begin with, makes for a more enjoyable role play.
BUMPing to note that a spot opened.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundBUMPing — Tachi dropped out.

Pfft. No more than one custom card per deck. It seems that I didn't say so clearly enough.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAhh, sorry, my mistake.
Heyo! I return from the pit of internet shame. Des, you said I could give things a go, so if you wanna check over my decklist and character...?
- Name: Gretel Sonant
- Age: 16 years of age
- Gender: Female!
- Duel Disk: Standard-issue. Maybe a little rough around the edges.
- Dorm: Earth!
- Appearance: A skinny (almost unhealthily so), average-heighted girl with a neck-length brown short haircut. Constantly has a pair of earplugs playing bog-standard rock-pop stuck in her ears, even during duels, which are shaped like Spell Counter emblems. Finally, she wears a cheap-looking little steel ring with the Symphony Djinn◊ icon on it.
- History:
Music used to be cool for Gretel, when she was the only one at school who had an Ipod and could coolly ignore everyone who whispered with surprise and envy as she strolled nonchalantly across the field. Then the prices started dropping, and Gretel found herself ticked off enough to complete the evolution of Precocious Bitch to Complete Tosspot, and took up a popular card game, to fill the gap her prancing around had left open once she cut the flaunting-richness out.
Though she originally thought of Duel Monsters as nothing more as a handy timesink, her skills grew with the practice that boredom brought, and soon she was placing well enough in locals that she could go to without being recognised that she began considering a professional career as a duelist. Music remains her first love, but she won't tolerate someone belittling the game or mocking Dueling through actions or words — she needs to be able to look herself in the mirror once she's a pro, after all.
In summary: a bit of a prick, a bit of a hipster, and a bit of a blockhead, but sufficiently aimed at the common enemy that she's tolerated and maybe even valued as a friend.

That seems to about wrap things up; I'll edit this post to include the dorm name — should I get accepted — but I'll likely hold off on actually posting anything until I can sift through the backlog of the RP. Here's hoping!
EDIT: Hups. Fixed!

Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)Accepted, and welcome to Earth dorm. Also: I'm throwing you right in instead of Samantha — you've saved me from using an NPC, eheh. Short recap: We're in a Tournament Arc, second round. I'll retcon my last post to include Gretel instead of the NPC.

Storm and trouble won't make you make you lose your way. (Tits might, though.)@Everyone who's updating their decks for the next arc: the new decks need to comply with the latest banlist (there's a link in the OP).

Iniqui, you missed a monster there — you only have 18, not 19.
Is there still a spot left?

-Wonders how a large banner on top of the OP is hard to miss-
Yesh! Just give me a few moments to dust off my brain, alright?

Well, I tried to make a Vylon deck, but my internet crashed and erased hours of my hard work! Okay, so I exaggerated a little bit. Doesn't matter, I'm too lazy to try again, so I'll go with my old Infernity deck.
- Name: Daniel Clemens
- Age: 16
- Gender: Boy
- Duel Disk: Standard
- Dorm: Sea
- Appearance: 170.3cm in height, 125lb in weight. Has blond hair and somewhat tanned skin. His usual attire consists of a plain short-sleeved white shirt and a black sleeveless hoodie over it, along with a pair of jeans and white sneakers.
- History: He first got into Yu-Gi-Oh as a child when his best friend introduced him to it. To him, it was just another game to play and have fun with. However, when his friend moved away, he realized that he never managed to beat his friend once. Ever since then, he took the game much more seriously and ultimately signed up for the academy.

Hope I'm not too late to enter.
Other people... just weren't... very... interesting
Marcus never really had many friends. and spent most of his time reading or playing by himself. Even in the many private schools he was shifted between, he would often skip classes to go read in the library. Believing Marcus to be mentally retarded, the faculty of his school was quick to place him in their "Special Programs". A decision that his parents were all to eager to agree too.
It was by chance that Marcus found a Yu-Gi-Oh! card when it fell out of a shelf in the school library. The card fascinated him and he soon became obsessed with unravelling the mysteries of this enigmatic game. It wasn't long before he found out about East Academy and begged his family to allow him to attended. His parents, who were shocked to find their son earnestly focused on something, and soon funded the expenses for Marcus's tuition.
