Music wise, Owl City, One Direction, Katy Perry.

My most guilty pleasure at this point is Homestuck, but that's only because of how the general populace looks at the fandom.

The general populace has no idea Homestuck even exists.

I don't think it's particularly any different from how people view some other work that's huge, hard to get into, and with a population of rabid fans.

The perception of, say, MLP fans is way worse.

A brighter future for a darker age.

I think both fandoms are terrible in their own right, but the Hetalia fan base is by far the worst.

... which is also a guilty pleasure of mine.

Koihime Musou. Because sword-swinging kung-fu action lesbians. It's so stupid, yet so sublime...

It's incredibly fucking boring. Everything about it is mediocre except the character design. It's formulaic, trite, contrived, lacking completely in drama and really REALLY stupid.

It also has a cast that includes about fifty sword-swinging kung-fu action lesbians so all that is INCONSEQUENTIAL.

I don't like the VN because of the male protagonist though. His existence takes a critical part of the sword-swinging kung-fu action lesbian formula out of the equation.

Bleye knows Sabers.

I treat all visual novels as a guilty pleasure, even the story-driven ones, on the basis that there is no way that I could reasonably explain them to my friends without getting mocked mercilessly. I play visual novels that are all porn and no plot and laugh even as I cringe and bang my head on the desk. I play story-driven ones despite thinking that they're generally melodramatic and pretentious. I play visual novels in Japanese despite not understanding Japanese just so I can see what the artwork and the music are like.

Speaking of Koihime Musou, it's one of the few harem type stories I ever liked and I thought it was diminished by its attempts to have a plot. From what I can understand of Shin Koihime (next to nothing. see above), it is all sorts of awesome.

Anything with Leslie Anne Down in it.

This includes Munchie Strikes Back as well as that North & South series from the eighties.

Family Guy. On one hand, it's a mindless, gross, and insensitive cartoon. On the other hand, I'm 13.

[up][up] Family Guy was damned funny up until the writers' strike.

[up] Arnie is like an aging, saggy god. Not guilt there, surely?

Bad fanfiction. Also, Inheritance.

I'd say Pokemon, except that it's not a guilty pleasure because I genuinely like the games.

I like to listen to classic music (Elton John, David Bowie etc.) and very sad, emotive music. I've spent the last few nights looking up Elton John and sad anime OS Ts on Youtube.

I admit, I do have a penchant for brutally murdering people and hiding the bodies in my attic. It's a bit embarrassing really.
