Where Would a Succubus Fit In a Five Man Band?

Exactly What It Says on the Tin. I just reworked my story to be about a Five-Man Band rather than a Power Trio, and one of the added members is a succubus.

The Chick is already filled by Amaya. Yuki is The Hero, Leo is The Lancer, and I don't have a name for my Smart Guy rogue yet

That leaves The Big Guy, but I don't really think a succubus fits that trope.

You don't need to adhere to the Five-Man Band like it's the breathed word of God or something. You can have two chicks, two smart guys, neither of those, ect...

If you seriously want to cling to the Five-Man Band model, make her more than just a seductress. I've seen succubi fill Big Guy roles before because they had experience handling BFSes. See the Gria Ravagers from Final Fantasy.

Why not? A succubus is still a demon, and demons are generally seen as powerful entities. You could make her a Hot Amazon, or just have her inhuman strength be a terrifying surprise for anyone who tries to take advantage of her, or even anyone who underestimates her.

The real question is, where does the Five-Man Band fit in the succubus?

In earnestness, though, is there any real reason why the succubus can't be the Big Guy? If the whole seduction thing is a mystical effect, what's to stop her actual physique from being muscle-bound?

I guess all of the above makes sense, I just have a hard time getting Chewbacca out of my head when I think of The Big Guy. It makes sense for a demon to possess supernatural strength, so I guess I'm just asking stupid questions.

Now that I've sufficiently embarrassed myself on the internet, I'm off to find character names for the rest of them.

My succubus character is a Reluctant Monster, who doesn't want the others to know her real name, that causes her Transformation Trauma hence she remains with the five man band because the main character is her Morality Chain... So that's how she remains undetected for now, but alas this turns awry... xD

Depends on her powers, I suppose. If she's more a seductress, The Chick. If she regenerates, The Big Guy. If magic, another Black Magician Girl.

Or all three: Dark Action Girl.

I'm guessing somewhere in the middle, maybe about waist-high...

She's a Succubus- it's much more hilarious to make her The Big Guy than it would be to do anything else with her. :D

Furthermore, big guys aren't always JUST equatable to raw power. Succubi might, for example, be able to use their powers of seduction in combat to defeat mooks and maybe even some of the villains higher up the chain. Of course, as demons they would probably have high strength and agility, but I'm thinking outside the box.

How fast and loose are you playing your succubus? I've got one in my story, and while she's got a handful of the typical seduction abilities, she's also able to make the hero red ring with a single punch. (She's also got poison-tipped claws and can use said poison to blow up your organs. But, details.) I think you're allowed to have a little leeway here.

Or you could just use the excuse "she's a demon, therefore she's super-strong" if you want a conventional big guy. Or she could transform into a battle-ready form at will.

Also, how old is she compared to the rest of the band? If she's travelling with kids, she could be larger by default.

She may have deliberately trained/been deliberately trained to take advantage of the fact that people expect succubi to be lustful beasts, not tough fighters; a wise demon might have a whole harem of succubi who double as bodyguards.
