I always had the idea to finish off some of my favourite dead fics, especially the one where Azumanga Daioh's Sakaki becomes heir to an ancient martial art and accidentally becomes the guardian of the school.

One idea for a story that could work as a Planetary fan-fic or a independent story.

It is a rather brutal desconstruction of The Flash, it follows the perspective of a group of investigators after a unusual day.

A small deserted city shows up out of no where, filled with stolen objects from nearby towns. Those towns had been pillaged from food, vandalized with lighting paintings and there were woman who aparently exploded from inside out. After some investigation they concluded that it all traces back to a research facility where a scientist was exposed and transformed, his body acelerated to incredible speed to the point that everything looked frozen in time, after the equivalent of years like that the guy went insane and (among other things) rapes some women who become super-speed-pregnant and... give birth.

During a course of a day a small race of speedters rises and fall over a few generations, they fate is unknow but they had a cult of sorts that proclamed a time where they all would "speed to beyond".

but some would have been left behind.

A crossover of Homestuck and Magic The Gathering.

Looking at the cosmologies behind the two games reveals some surprising similarities. The Horrorterrors obviously live in the Blind Eternities, and are almost certainly related to the Eldrazi. After winning the game, the kids go to a new world of their own creation, where they gain incredible power that likens them to a god - in other words, their Spark is activated and they become old-style planeswalkers, their first act being the collective creation of their own plane. Clearly Sgame is a tool for manufacturing Sparks. The whole business with the titles, quests, and Denizens is a method of inculcating and developing the players' sparks, and their climactic victory over the forces of Derse catalyzes them. Of course, the shift in Sparkish nature from the archeowalkers to the neowalkers is going to severely stuff up the operation of the game.

And of the extant MTG planes, Ravnica is the best place to draw the players from. Not only does it have preexisting structure to build the kids around, it is also the most cosmopolitan of the planes, which allows for the players to reasonably be diverse. And it even has a ready excuse for there to be magical computer-equivalents, thanks to Izzet-fueled mad thaumaturgy.

I can imagine the Simic kid, cast as the player of Space. "The game wants you to biologically engineer the perfect frog, and it gives you this piece of crap to work with? You could make a better frog with your own equipment. You could make a better frog with your BARE HANDS. You could almost make a better frog without using magic, that's how worthless this primitive pile of tubes is!"

Yesterday, out of Bile Fascination, I skimmed through part of the first book of Gor.

I had to put it down quickly, of course, and then I felt like an idiot for having wasted my time reading something so utterly stupid. But I got an interesting idea for a fanfic: Cohen The Barbarian and Commander Vimes go to Gor.

The smackdown that would ensue would be a thing of beauty, I think — I mean, just imagine what would happen when one of these Kull The Conqueror rejects challenges Cohen to a duel, or how Vimes would react to their "customs" ! evil grin

I am almost tempted to read about the Gor universe and gather enough information to write this... almost.

I'm thinking about writing an Avatar The Last Airbender fic about Iroh when he was younger. (Probably a very very popular topic, I haven't checked.) It'd be about his character development from a sickly fifteen-year old boy who can't really firebend right but is an Azula-esque tactical genius to the famous war general to the exiled old man who gets put on Zuko-babysitting duty. It'd also have bits with him meeting the other Order of the White Lotus members and stuff like that.

I haven't written a very large amount of fanfic before, but after a silly doodle of Cirno with a jetpack and top hat I've been tempted to write some (or at least make more art) of a crazy cyberpunk/noir Gensokyo, with Flandre and Remilla as mob kingpins, Reimu as a severely jaded detective prone to violence, Patchouli as the l33thacker hero, et cetera. The weird thing is that I only just got into the series, and don't even know that much about the characters...

The first time I was ever tempted to write a Lemon was after encountering that asari in Mass Effect 2 who had her life saved by the Rachni Queen and speaks about her in near-sexual terms. (Sure, it's interspecies, and disgustingly interspecies at that, but considering some of the other pairings we've canonically seen asari in . . .)

Also, I kinda wish I were good at animation, so I could do an original music video for Iris. Some of the stuff said in it reminded me a lot of what I've read about Changeling The Lost

I had few ideas for "lemon" fics for glee... but they are a bit too much, actually two of them a completely cracky

  1. Karofsky becomes Mistress Kurt's sex slave. I think that is the only acceptable way for kurtosfky to happen

  2. Karofsky is raped by Quinn to make him straight (yes, I am ashamed of this one)

  3. Kublam, how exactly did Kurt found out about Sam's situation? Well, Sam's pizza job was actually working as a stripper! He is called by the Warblers to celebrate Blaine/Kurt Fucking-FINALLY together! Hilarity and sex issues.

Hold on, I've got a few too many rolling around in my head:

I've had an idea for a while about something set in the Potterverse. Basically revolving around Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermione potentially stopping a Well Intentioned Extremist wizard attempting to remove the Masquerade because he believes that both worlds are suffering and stagnating being separate. Quasi-deconstruction of certain elements, with a genuine debate about the morality of keeping the muggle world in secret and the real problems that could occur if that barrier is gone.

A loose re-imagining of the events of Nightfall from Batman, telling stories of 5 villainous pairings escaping from Arkham (Harley/Ivy, Clayface/Freeze, Scarecrow/Hatter, Scarface/Two-Face, Riddler/Penguin) with them and Batman not aware that events are being manipuated by another pairing (Joker/Bane) Really just an excuse to have some fun back and forth with the rogues gallery, and seeing exactly how well some could and couldn't get along.

Detailed story about the aftermath of JT's death on D:TNG. More or less looking at a Emma/Manny in the midst of despair, Sean's near violent anger, the numbness of Liberty, and an extraordinary drunk Toby.

For some time I've been attempting to figure out a good overall story for Q doing some sort of encounter/test with the Deep Space Nine crew in the midst of the Dominion War (especially Sisko after the events of "In the Pale Moonlight"). Seeing a "Q Who" characterized Q interact with the darker characters of the station, in contrast to the Enterprise crew is just too fascinating a premise to not do something with.

Post Season Six Buffy story with Sunnydale invaded and occupied by an army of vamps, led by the "Champion" of vampires who considers Buffy a worthy opponent and respects her, despite being on completely opposite sides. The Scoobies forced to form a resistance/insurgent group and stop them before the use the Hellmouth to enrich the powers of a second Gem of Amara onto all vampires on Earth. Just something I still need to get out of my system at some point.

Typically not one to write or even think about slash stories, though I've been tempted to write a Voyager smut fic with Seven/Kes just for the hell of it.

Also have an original story involving an aging Civil War veteran's encounter with a young British would be soldier on the eve of WWI, but that's really more in the form of a play than a written story.

I just had this idea that I would never write about that I wanted to commit somewhere where someone might decide to read it.

Frequently, self-inserts cause the whole Trapped in Another World trope. Logically, there are people back home who may miss them and file missing persons which then proceed to get investigated. If we suppose that the "Real World" of many of these fanfics is the same place, then this world would logically have more and more missing people. Some might go missing because they end up dead or like the other world more. Some might come back after some time and be secretive about it and demonstrate newfound maturity and improbable skills (e.g. swordsmanship).

So, logically, these missing persons reports would eventually reach a threshold where actual resources are committed to investigating the cause of them. However, I would figure that this point would be low enough that, at most, a couple of people would be dedicated to solving this, part time. I figure that this would be the start to a sort of Lovecraftian, film noir-ish affair where these detective(s) slowly try to uncover the truth. I'm not sure if the truth should be, "Teenagers in the real real world are writing escapist fanfiction," or perhaps it is caused by some trickster god, or some combination. It may get rather metafictional. After they figure out the truth and possibly travel to several worlds, confirm the nature of the phenomenon, there are two possible endings. They keep it a secret and it is implied that this sort of thing has been happening for quite some time, as the detective(s) are just the latest ones on the phenomenon; or they could reveal it, which probably results in a pandimensional society with super-tech and magic.

It would be interesting if it went for a more metafictional route and considered the societal consequences of everyone knowing that they were fictional in light of the reveal, but hey.

I had an odd idea for a semi-Darker and Edgier fanfic (or at least a 'serious' fic) about the Gen 1 My Little Pony show and the End of Flutter Valley. Deciding to take the episode's title seriously, I proposed the idea that the Flutter Ponies didn't get the Sunstone up to the perch in time. Maybe the cavalry didn't arrive in time or maybe they just didn't blow the cloud away fast enough—I hadn't figured that part out yet. But with the Flutter Ponies without a home, the witches ready to move in, and Bumble and her bees still around, where would they go and stuff?

Then I ran out of ideas.

A post-apocalyptic Marvel Universe where Dormammu has taken over. He received a power boost from another entity and increased Baron Mordo's power, telling him to eliminate any magical threats to his conquest. Any kind of travel between Asgard and Earth was closed off, Dr Strange, Dr. Voodoo, the Son of Satan, and most other magical heroes were killed, and the two Ghost Riders were enslaved as Dormammu's henchmen. Dormammu has an easy time taking over the Earth, killing off most of Earth's population. He set up the center of his empire in a decimated New York City.

However, there are several groups of survivors. After the X-Men's failed attack on Dormammu, Cyclops lost an eye. He hopes to find Emma Frost, or any of his other comrades, alive. Deadpool, after watching Bob, Agent of HYDRA, and Weasel killed before his eyes, and spending a year traveling with Taskmaster before his death, still retains his personality, but more to hide the pain than anything. Daken has used his ruthless skill to survive, and is the one in the group that is trusted the least. The Punisher has stocked up on weapons, which are surprisingly effective against the demonic hordes. After finding an abandoned Stark warehouse, Punisher commandeered his own Iron Man armor. Luke Cage lost his wife, child, and best friend, and has become much more serious and stoic afterward. He wears Iron Fist's mask on his face. The Black Widow has also managed to survive, and shares weapons with Punisher. She has to deal with Deadpool's constant pick up lines. The Vulture is the team's tech expert. This Deadpan Snarker maintains Punisher and Black Widow's weapons, as well as the Iron Man armor.

After traveling a bit, the group will run into a stranded Super-Skrull, who has no way off Earth after Dormammu's conquest. He joins the group, but doesn't really seem to care about what they're fighting for. His Character Development will show when he declines a way off of Earth, giving up his race's hatred and distaste for other species.

After fighting demons, Mindless Ones, and a murderous cult led by Carnage, the team will find a way across the ocean to Latveria, where a Doctor Doom, whose magical skill was overlooked by Dormammu, allows them to join his forces of Doombots, normal soldiers, and other surviving heroes and villains to start their attack on Dormammu. I won't reveal anything after this because I may actually write this.

An Assassin's Creed fic wherein there is a slight glitch with the animus causing everything to read like a fic written by Squirrelking or Peter Chimera. Actually I've already finished that one. Anyone want to read it?

I do have an idea for an Avatar/Legend of Zelda crossover. I also once entertained the idea of writing a fic that details Dracula's history, simultainiously combining Castlevania backstory with that of the Original Novel and the life of the historical Vlad Tepes. Just trying to work out a timeline gave me a headache.

Once I wrote a Metroid fic detailing the special task force that was sent to SR-388 and how everything went to hell. It was years ago and became a dead fic. Just as well, because the writting was pretty bad.

I once considered some horrible ideas:

  • An Angel Beats where Otonashi eventually figures out that there's a "Groundhog Day" Loop that spans three years for those who cannot move on. He's fine with being a Student Council President and helping others move on, but later he is opposed by a NPC...who is revealed to be a future Otonashi, who had snapped after being stuck in the purgatory for centuries, for he was not quite over Kanade yet.
  • A Harry Potter fic that actually involves a group of NPC, a group of students who don't have any relation to Harry and the Order of the Phoenix. I am not sure when would be good; during the original book's timeline or after Voldemort died. Regardless, it's a mostly a zany Mundane Fantastic Slice of Life series.
  • This is probably THE oldest fanfic idea I ever had: a Resident Evil fanfic where Billy Coen from Resident Evil 0 gets caught during his escape in the forest and brought to the hidden facility in Racoon City and escaping during the outbreak. Survival madness ensues.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
