Salad Island?
...ehehCitrusia?
By now, it should be clear to all except the most dense of us that sheep are secretly conspiring to kill us all and steal our pants. What's a good title to give to a woman who is a master mistress of all things BDSM? The title is to serve as a denoting name for members of an all-female group that specialize in BDSM — you know, like how succubi and incubi would probably serve as seduction/"soft" interrogation specialists in an army of demons; and while the word "dominatrix" does exist, it seems over-focused on only one aspect of the many that comprise the acronym that denotes the range of practices involved, and completely misses the point that the character(s) in question does do submission and masochism (though only to a select few who have earned her trust). And I was hoping to reserve "dominatrix" for the distinctive title of the group's leader ("Arch-Dominatrix" is the tentative choice for now).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. The Lady Of The Ropes is my first thought.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman... Isn't that more of a personal epithet?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Looking to the other letters in the abbreviation: Disciples/Disciplinarians? Submittresses? (Indicating that they cause others to submit but are themselves submissive to an higher authority? You could even go with Submistresses if you wanted to add a faintly punny double meaning.)
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI'm having trouble coming up with a name for my game project (I think I've already brought this up here before, but I settled for a placeholder).
Gameplay: The game is essentially Super Metroid meets Vagrant Story (with a dash of Borderlands). The player explores in a typical Metroidvania fashion but can pick up (randomly generated) new weapons and "components" which can be used in Item Crafting to upgrade and modify their equipment (think along the lines of Borderlands' guns if you could rebuild them like the weapons in Vagrant Story).
So far I've been using Unsalvaged Land as a placeholder, but it feels a bit silly. I've also come up with, but aren't quite sure about; R+D: Recovery and Development (sounds a bit edutainment-y) and Yesterday's Trash (worried it might be too opaque).
I don't suppose anyone has any thoughts?
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerSo, I have a peculiar problem when trying to describe this. I wish I knew for certain if this is the right thread for it. I will give it a go and if anything, I would appreciate being directed to the proper place if it is not.
I am uncertain if this character I am writing is a villain, or an antagonist at all.
Basically, he has good intentions. A way to FORCE reconciliation upon two warring factions (while belonging to one). He does not dip too far into the Well-Intentioned Extremist to murder a bevy of innocent people. By the standards of the two factions he is forcing reconciliation from, however, they both are not likely to want the manner of reconciliation he is forcing.
He is not invoking the Bigger Bad to do it, but he does use murder, desecration, and such surreptitious methods to do it.
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesRuined Times? Postmodern Ruins? Temporal borders (thought that might need some time travel)?
Yeah this is a thread for names, not concepts.

Mm. What might be a better place to locate it, then?
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesI'd make my own thread, but you're going to need to provide more information because an antagonist is just someone who opposes a protagonist, and I have no idea if the story's following a faction that he opposes.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Hmm..."Postmodern Ruins" makes me think of art. Temporal Borders does sound more like something time-travelly.
I'm afraid "Ruined Times" went completely over my head? ^^;
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI need names for a space cowboy duelist who uses multiple fake identities.
Maurice!
I don't think so.
@Bisected8: Recycland? If the player was a Cyber Cyclops then Recyclops?
His actual name or his codename? Shift for a codename?
I'm currently trying to come up with an SI unit constant for mana conversion.
Basically Mana is an SI Unit in my setting (which is Joule x something since Mana is a form of energy. 1 Mana converts to a lot of Joules). What would be a good name for the something?

...ehehI'd use "merlins", but that might be a bit too campy.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatA scientist's name comes to mind, since a lot of real-life SI units are named after people.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Funny, but not quite the tone I was going for (not too serious, but still something you could do with a straight face).
Also, what about "MaCs" (Magical Concentration)?

TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerMana concentration/density would probably be Mana per metre cube (Mana/m^3) and is another derived SI unit.
Oh, I see you don't wan't a punny name... It could be "(something) Zone".
,I think you gave me an idea =D. It could be (Scientist Name)'s constant or Magic Constant.

...ehehI don't mind a Punny Name, but "Recycland" sounds a bit too on the "silly" side of things (I wouldn't mind something along the lines of A Link to the Past, for example).
Something like "[something] Zone" might work, but the word "Zone" itself feels a bit clichéd....
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI actually rather like "Yesterday's Trash"; I'll confess that I didn't recall the idiom with any confidence before looking it up, but I feel that even without that connection it's a decent name, and having the idiom behind it is another point in its favour.

My Games & WritingIroncommando: I don't think I want him to have a codename.
The idea with this character is that he had to escape from his home world and now he is on the run, constantly switching identities and living as different people.
Does he really need a name then?
Maybe make it a little more latin and make it Fructopia?
Other than that, I can only think of Melonia. But that's from a movie.
