Read my stories!Apparently, The main character in Zexal encounters a spirit called Astral.
Watch SymphogearThat would probably be the silvery guy in the scan right?
GOH! JII! RAH!Seems likely.
Watch SymphogearThat dude's hair doesn't even look like hair. It looks like a helmet.
I don't care about Yu-Gi-Oh anymore. The first show was fun to watch, but I could care less about the other two.
I really only play the card game now, and even then only rarely. I got interested in it for a while after my brother started watching the entire series (omitting Waking The Dragons and the subsequent Tournament Arc) but it's worn off now.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.... Why the feck does the hero of this series look like he belongs in a Mega Man game?
So, any actual details on what this is gonna be about (besides yet more card gaming)? If the premise is interesting enough I can give it a spin—I could sorta-appreciate 5DS, but GX just bored me to tears.
visit my blog! The main character meets a spirit named Astral, the silvery looking guy presumably in the V-jump scan.

Watch SymphogearIn other words, nothing solid on the plot just yet.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Not to mention Kazuki Takahashi himself has Direct involvement in the series other than just character designs for the previous 2 series.

Well... only the creator knows at this point. I have not heard anything about the plot yet, except that the main character meats a spirit and it has to do with Yu-Gi-Oh. Those are the only two facts about the overall show I've seen mentioned. Everything else is titles/names of the two characters and slight backgrounds on them.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!I can help with the plot.
From what I understand, there's this spirit guy, Astral, who has lost his memories, and his memories have been transformed into the 99 "Numbers" monsters. In order for him to get his memories back, each Numbers monster must be defeated in a duel (by another Numbers monster?), so Astral uses our hero, Yuma Tsukumo, to do that. Yuma wields No. 39, while The Rival Ryoga wields No. 17 until it's defeated in the first real duel of the series and absorbed into Astral.
Also, it looks to me like the anime and manga will be following the same plot this time.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."And where does IN SPACE! fit into this?
Basic reactions:
- Guess they are trying to appeal to a younger audience. The pastel color pallet being used is quite the Mood Whiplash from 5D's.
- ...I like the quirkiness of his house/the city. In fact, I hardly notice the hair
- Ok, there should be a limit on the "Idiot" part of Idiot Hero
- The new tech being Augmented Reality is not far from being realistic and, the tech being computers, having all the words to activate it makes a sertain anount of sense.
- I know that there may be some people watching who need the explaination, but... see my 3rd point
- the new summon technique is... interesting. Basicly, super-efect monsters, not just high lvl ones. Lot's of room for different abilities.
- Anyone who does not get the question to the audience at the end, did not watch the episode, let alone played the game before.
All in all, a decent start. I'll watch a couple more episodes before deciding if I like it or not.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!I am not feeling this new protag. He feels really underwhelming compared to jaden or yusei. Then I guess that's because I'd really enjoyed the more dramatic, kinda badass atmosphere that 5ds had.
I really like the first 2 and ahalf seasons of GX; Seasons 1 through five of Yugioh, and the first half of 5DS, I always cut out of yugioh in the end.
WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH MILINEUM WORLD/DAWN OF THE DUEL?

Let's make a TCG!New episode is subbed.
I found it funny where Astral pretty much did all the dueling for Yuma. It felt like an Affectionate Parody of how Yami Yugi always did the dueling for Yugi, but here it makes Yuma look like he's lost his mind as well as a fucking idiot. It made me lol.
And why does that old man in the intro and ending remind me of Dr. Weil?
If he's at least half as evil as that there is going to be MAJOR Cerebus Syndrome in the future.

Watch SymphogearWould not be surprised.
My biggest problem with this series is that it seems like none of the main characters have dueled before. Which is completely against the premise of the characters. I'll give it another 2 episodes for them to redeem themselves, but at this point... I mean, the fact that he did not remember such a good trap but then remembered that magic card makes no sense.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Feels a bit of a refresher from the previous protagonists who could somehow always pull the card they need to win.
Watch Symphogear
They were expecting a card game I presume.
Guard1: Alright, I got a burn deck with me, he won't last 5 turns.
Guard2: Wait, why isn't he bringing his cards out?!
