Zack Snyder's interpretation of Squadron Supreme

In a heavy case of Dramatically Missing the Point, the SS characters (Hyperion and Power Princess in particular) act more and more like the characters they're based on, confusing fans of both. At least the special effects are good, though.

It's the same show, but it has a massive case of Art-Style Dissonance and hatred from hardcore Voltron fans.

Digimon as a Summer Blockbuster

A group of troubled teens find an abandoned laboratory, where they're sucked into a computer (a la Tron), and into the Digital World. They all get a Digimon, and during their adventure, they learn how to cope with their problems thanks to their Digimon. They defeat the main bad guy (who happens to be a metaphor for the main teens problem) and return to the real world, but forget to turn off the computer. It's mediocre, but it does really well in China.

Adventure Time but it's an 80's Merchandise Cartoon.

The whole show becomes an advertisement for the action figure of The Lich.

The Birth of a Nation (1915), except every single character is voiced by Nana Mizuki.

It becomes a rather unintentionally funny film given the subject matter, but may lead to having a misaimed fandom.

The hobbits sing about their love for food and pipe-weed. Sauron gets a Villain Song listing his evil deeds, such as his manipulation of the Númenoreans and the forging of the One Ring, with a choir of orcs as backup singers.

After an unseen force turned all humans into anthropomorphic animals, life... was still almost normal? At least until said force started taking over the earth by, well, force. The series gets maybe 44% on Rotten Tomatoes.

There needs to be a lot more stunt sequences and special effects because the actors are too old? Don't follow superhero stuff.

Anyways. The Sims 3's Sunset Valley adapted as a moe waifu magical girl anime. Susan Wainwright's the protagonist.

In accordance with all anime stereotypes, Susan is changed from a married woman to a well-endowed high school freshman pining after her crush, the upperclassman Boyd. Her affinity for science is rarely mentioned, but you can tell she's smart because she wears glasses now.

The Queen is a alien conqueror with a human daughter named Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs are Minion-like creatures and Prince Charming is a human who redeems Snow White.

Zack Snyder's version of Puella Magi Madoka Magica replaced with American girls and illustrated by Lauren Faust.

Not that much different from the regular series, except Madeline (Madoka) is more emo, Kayleigh (Kyoko) shows up a few episodes earlier, and Sarah (Sayaka) is played by (and named after) her voice actress.

Avengers: Infinity War as a Shakespearean tragedy.

There are a lot of complex themes scattered through the tragedy, but everyone experiencing the tragedy will walk out utterly dazed and confused. It garners a lot of attention from critics calling it a masterpiece, but even they don't understand everything going on, even hundreds of years later.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga as a game show.

It's like a combination of Double Dare and Nick Arcade, but with far less slime. Players form in teams of two and have to do coordinated stunts for points. The winning team faces one of three bosses: Bowser, Cackletta, or Fawful.
