Miss Piggy: Very humbling. [Beat] I don't like being humble, so I got out fast.
  • Beat: Phineas is caught flatfooted by Regis Philbin answering one of his questions with a Blunt "No", resulting in a good few seconds' pause before he speaks again.
  • Blunt "No":
    • Phineas shows Regis Philbin an impression of him by Neil Patrick Harris and asks if he thinks it was accurate. Philbin shakes his head and just says "No," leaving Phineas frozen with a smiling expression, seemingly unsure of how to react.
    • Candace comes on stage to show her singing to Randy Jackson, and asks what he thinks. He responds, "Wow! No," and the word "no" flies onto screen with a buzzer sound.
  • Dramatic Thunder: Neil Patrick Harris gives an Evil Laugh that darkens the sky and summons thunder and lightning. Doofenshmirtz wonders how he did that.
  • Dull Surprise: A vocal version. In the Emma Roberts episode, while various characters are demonstrating their "horror movie" screams, Ferb's is a dull "Aaaahhhhh..."
  • Evil Laugh: Doofenshmirtz hijacks a screen to challenge Neil Patrick Harris as to who has the best evil laugh.
  • Evil Laugh Turned Coughing Fit: Doofenshmirtz challenges Neil Patrick Harris to an evil-laugh-off. Doofenshmirtz's second evil laugh ends with him coughing. The Bruno Salomone episode reuses the script, but makes a change by having Salomone's second evil laugh also end in coughing.
  • Fictional Fan, Real Celebrity: Isabella and Candace are both fans of Taylor Swift. Isabelle squees as she introduces her, and when Candace sees her, she gasps, does a Jaw Drop, and zips over to bombard her with questions.
  • Gale-Force Sound: Emma Roberts' "horror movie scream" sends Phineas and Ferb's hair flying back and sends Ferb flying back through the air, leaving him holding onto his chair while his body flaps like a rag doll.
  • Glass-Shattering Sound: The Emma Roberts episode ends with various characters simultaneously demonstrating their "horror movie" screams, which results in the window in the background breaking.
  • Hair Flip: Taylor Swift talks about doing hair flips on stage and teaches a couple of moves to Phineas and Ferb, who mimic them by wearing wigs.
  • Instant Costume Change: When Phineas asks Miss Piggy to demonstrate her karate, she protests that she's not dressed for it before relenting and zipping offstage and back in a split second, already changed.
  • Juggling Dangerously: Jack Black demonstrates his juggling skills. Phineas and Ferb toss in additional objects for him until he's simultaneously juggling framed pictures, roast chickens, live turkeys, and a kitchen sink. He gives up when they toss in an anvil.
  • Levitating Lotus Position: Tom Bergeron sits in lotus position with Phineas and Ferb and they levitate, which turns into a contest to see how high they can go, ending with the three of them above the clouds.
  • Muppet Cameo: One of the guests is Miss Piggy.
  • Pronouncing My Name for You: Phineas asks Guy Fieri how his last name is pronounced, and Fieri demonstrates.
  • Punched Across the Room: David Beckham kicks a ball at Buford, knocking him through the goal he's guarding, through the wall, and all the way around the planet until he crashes back into the room through the opposite wall.
  • Quizzical Tilt: Neil Patrick Harris recounts covering up for a forgotten line by saying nonsense; when Phineas asks about the reactions to that, Harris mimes the reactions by tilting his head to the side and making a questioning noise.
  • Roger Rabbit Effect: The celebrity guests are live action, while the studio and all other characters are drawn or animated.
  • Screaming Woman: Emma Roberts gives her best "horror movie scream" upon request.
  • Sitting Sexy on a Piano: Miss Piggy starts her song seated and stretched out on top of a piano in a dress.
  • Solid Clouds: After Tom Bergeron rises above the clouds, he gets up and stands on them.
  • Song Style Shift: Miss Piggy's song starts out mellow for its first line before abruptly switching to a more aggressive style.
  • Splitting Pants: Howie Mandel jumps up several times in a row to demonstrate saying "ta-da!" after announcing something mundane. The last time, there's a tearing noise, and he winces and reaches for his backside.
