Dungeons of Sunnydale is an Interactive Comic written by tiresiasArchivist and later by Crono30067. Based off of games such as Rogue, DnD, and others, it tells the story of 0001, a beardless dwarf roguenote ., as he travels through a dungeon.
And then things get complicated.
Originally written by tiresiasArchivist as a side project, it was later abandoned, whereupon it was picked up by Crono30067 in FANFICTION MODE, and was soon elevated to canon. Also, now the original author is drawing fanart.
After it ended, some people started working on making it into a real game.

- Alternate Self: 0001 has a total of four other selves (from 0002 to 0005), while Amelia has at least 2.
- Alternate Universe: There are a ton of these. A list of them can be found here.

- Creative Closing Credits: The ending credits feature a count of how many times each user posted in the forum thread, as well as some users getting achievements. The credits end with The Drow Pimp looking over Hexane's Derse.

- Fantasy Character Classes: Some of the characters in Sunnydale have more standard classes, like Rogue and Magic Hero, but then you have classes like Bearserker and Professional Map Grabber.
- Grand Finale: The last page(not counting the epilogue), a 3 minute flash animation drawn and animated by the comic's original creator!
- Intentional Engrish for Funny: 0005.
- Jackass Genie: All of the genies in some capacity, but especially the Obviously Heterosexual Genie.
- Literal Genie: Pretty much every genie, except for Karkata.
- Magic Versus Science: Amelia is a Science Hero, while her Alternate Self Amoria is a Magic Hero.
- Protagonist Without a Past: Everyone, for reasons yet to be explained.
- Rouge Angles of Satin: Invoked by tiresasArchivist with 0001's class:Your CLASS has been set to ROUGE, a brilliant shade of red.
- Save Point: Instead of just saving your game, they export your character into the real world.
- Shout-Out: An entire puzzle is directly lifted from La-Mulana.
- Show Within a Show: One of these to Hexane.
- Timey-Wimey Ball: In this universe, timelines can intersect, loop back into other timelines, combine...
- Trap Door: Amelia falls through one after solving a puzzle.
