_{What matters is that Eden knows your deepest desires and strives to fulfill it. When you arrive in Eden, a part of the whole world will be accommodated to create your paradise, whether it be a golden city of riches, a garden of the most sublime beauty, a town that grants you fame and adoration, a community offering forgiveness, or even a place where loved ones come back. The possibilities are only limited by one's own desires.}

_{However, with more people entering Eden, the realm has been getting increasingly unstable. If this problem of conflicting desires continues, then Eden itself will completely collapse. There can be one prevailing paradise in Eden, and the visitors must fight for the dominion of Eden and to protect their paradise.}

_{Each competitor will engage in battle against each other to protect and expand their part of paradise. The winner of a battle will see that his paradise is expanded. The loser of a battle will experience the despair of losing everything Eden has temporarily offered and will see that their paradise will be absorbed into the winner's. The cycle of battles will continue and the stakes will get higher until one winner arises on top and claims the Forbidden Fruit, a mysterious apple that is to grant him or her full, permanent dominion of the illusory world...}

Eden-OCT is a completed Original Character Tournament that can be found on Deviantart.com. The concept was founded by Devianart user Iris-Angelus. And is Co-Founded by Enochcorp and Silvachito. The final round was completed on November 18th, 2012. And then winner was announced on December 1st 2012. The winner is sirdubdub with 2nd place going to Hexaditidom. Runner ups are Spirogs and My5Cookies

Eden is a universe where you greatest dreams come to life. Whether it's fame, fortune, power, or a loved one returning. Eden creates it. But as more people arrive in Eden, it starts to grow unstable. That's why the sixteen residents of Eden (The competitors) must make their way to the Narthex, and the Forbidden Fruit, which will give the eater of the Fruit complete control of Eden. The sixteen are always at risk of losing their paradise to another competitor.

Only tropes from the winning round entries should be included. Things like parts of someone's paradise can be added here win or lose.

Eden-OCT Tropes

• Action Girl: 807 and Kiyu were trained as super soldiers, Neo has a giant axe, Lilith can fly and can cause infections, and Enda has dark abilities. Every girl here is probably trying to kill you.
• Aliens Speaking English: Mycolo, Kiyu, Hex, and Zalost.
• Badass Normal: Treble, Arthur and Neo are probably the most normal competitors in Eden. (Although Treble's tag along is an imp who speaks in Morse code and has telepathic powers, and Neo's is a living cartoon that can summon ink weapons, has color changing hair and tie. Also he has no arms.) So really Arthur is probably the most normal person in Eden.
• Big Fancy Castle: Arthur's and Wolf's paradise include one.
• Blessed with Suck: Zalosts new soul makes him feel compassion for those he kills, Endas blessing can kill her, 807 needs to eat constantly or she will shut down, Ooze can't keep a solid form unless he's conscious of it, and too many noises can cloud Mods vision. Sucks to be them.
• Colour-Coded for Your Convenience: Neo's Tag along Tom has color changing hair and tie so it makes it easier for him (and others) to communicate.
• Cute Is Evil: Tinkie... only when the other personality takes over.
• Defeat Means Friendship: In such cases as Mycolo befriending Neo and Tom and Kiyu befriending Zalost.
• Dwindling Party: From 16. To 8. To 4. To 2. To 1 winner.
• Finders Rulers: Whoever gets the Forbidden Fruit first will rule Eden.
• Girl in the Tower: According to Neo's Tag along Tom May, his long lost friend was in a tower and waiting for them.
• Let's You and Him Fight: Sometimes competitors with very similar goals end up fighting to be the one to complete said goal.
• MacGuffin: The Forbidden Fruit.
• Mind Screw: Kiyu pulls some mind trickery on Zalost.
• Nightmare Face: Tinkie when the other personality takes over.
• No Ending: The canon final entry (sirdubdub's) ends on a "To Be Continued" note. Unfortunately, no entry occurs after that, so we don't know what happens.
• No Social Skills: 807, Enda, Zalost.
• No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Kiyu and Wolf in Spirog's round 2 entry.In fact, Kiyu stabs him multiple times in the chest. He got better.
• Patchwork World: Eden is made up of different paradises that range from many different kinds of lands. From a wintery forest, to a dead city, to a science laboratory.
• Red Eyes, Take Warning: Both Zalost and Endas eyes glow red when they are about to attack.
• Reluctant Monster: Both Zalost and Tinkie.
• Screw the Rules, I Make Them!: The purpose and plot of not only Eden, but the main judges, rests in the hands of the competitors.
• Shout-Out: There are a couple of references to the biblical garden of Eden. Not only in the Eden plot itself, but some of the character rounds as well.
• Split-Personality Takeover: We have three. One is in action before Eden starts. (Zalost) The other two develop during the Eden contest. (Kiyu (In a way) and Tinkie))
• There Can Only Be One: Only one person may claim the Forbidden Fruit.
