The 15 Years of Lies movie will expose the father's crimes.
Here's what we know from the flashforwards:
  • The movie's name itself seems to be a clue.
  • According to Director Gotanda, the movie is the reenactment of events that took place 15 years before the flashforward. That sounds pretty close to the time when Ai was pregnant and Gorou was murdered.
  • Kana appears to know Ai was Aqua's mother since she realized he'd get mad at her for the metaphor she used.
  • Aqua says acting is his form of revenge, which could imply the object of his revenge is already in his sights.
    • Confirmed.

The father will realize who Aqua and/or Ruby are before they find him and will try to dispose of them.
Since the man has no qualms with getting people killed to protect his secret.

The voice cast prediction for the inevitable anime adaptation.

"45510" is a clue to the father's identity.
The nunbers obviously hold some significance since Ai chose them as the password for her smartphone. Using goroawase, they can be read in a variety of ways, some of them resembling names.
  • Jossed: It's not a clue to their father's identity though the bit about goroawase is mostly correct. The password is actually based on the initials of Ai's fellow B-Komachi founding members (and herself) so she could remember them: "Takamine Nino Ai Watanabe", which is what you get when you flick type, as revealed in the official short story, "45510".

Ai didn't know who the biological father of her children was, so Aqua's plan of DNA testing is a wild goose chase
It's possible that Ai slept with multiple men around the time her twins were conceived, and only assumed that their father was the man she was in love with. If this is the case, the person who orchestrated her death would not be the twins' biological father.

Ryusuke's accomplice is the twins' father.
So to set the scene, Ruby learns in Chapter 79 that Ryusuke, the university student that, prior to stalking and murdering Ai, was the same person that murdered Goro on the night she and Aqua were born. She also learns that, in the day's leading up to Goro's murder Ryusuke was spotted with a middle school student staking out the hospital Goro worked at. Given that the physical appearance of the twins' biological father is described as "Aqua but older", a very far-fetched guess could be made that said middle school student, who would be in their early thirties or even just turned 30 years old in the present day, is in fact that very person.
There was actual divine intervention involved in the reincarnation of the twins.
While it's obvious that something supernatural was going on from the start but recent chapters hint that Amaterasu herself might have had a hand in it.
  • One hint is the reveal that the hospital is near the Amano Iwato, the cave Amaterasu shut herself into only to be lured out by the dancing and singing of Ame no Uzume no Mikoto. The story takes quite a bit of time expositing about the mythology of the town which could just be cool trivia until you realise that Goro was killed near a shrine and inside of a cave.
  • Another is the appearance of the mysterious child and her crows. While crows are usually considered bad omens and habringers of death in the west, in Japan they are considered servants of the sun Goddess Amaterasu with Yatagarasu the three legged crow having been sent to guide people to the correct path in mythology. The fact that it's a crow that leads Ruby to Goro's corpse and the child then appears to give her information about the accomplice that few people know feel almost like a Deus ex Machina considering Aqua has been led to believe the case is closed.

The twins' father isn't responsible for Ai's murder.
  • The possibility that the twins' father wasn't the one that instigated Ai's murder has always existed; while Aqua and Saitou concluded that the twins' father was the likely culprit due to his knowledge of where Ai was staying, the accuracy of that theory has never been confirmed, and it's entirely possible that Ai's address could have been learned by someone with bad intentions some other way.
  • It's also possibly important that the twins' father was visiting Ai's grave. While that doesn't preclude him from instigating Ai's murder, it does seem like somewhat odd behavior for that situation.

Related to the the above WMG, Aqua would feel conflicted if he wants to follow through with his plan to kill his father.
  • If Aqua's father Hikaru turns out to not be the culprit, Aqua would realise that killing his father would achieve nothing, as the true perpetrator is still out at large. He might prove to be a valuable source of intel should Aqua choose to continue his vendetta against Ai's killer, a reason for Aqua to keep him alive. At the same time, getting Ai pregnant with him and Ruby is what led to Ai's murder in the first place, making Hikaru indirectly responsible for Ai's death.

The reason Hikaru orchestrated Ai's murder and targets other rising stars...

Ai will also be reincarnated as one of the twins' children.
  • ...Because Aka's previous work also ended on a Here We Go Again! scenario.
    • Jossed according to the Crow Girl in Chapter 118; Ai's soul has apparently moved on and won't be reincarnated.

What the story would have been like if Ai had survived
  • Originally, Ai wasn't meant to be killed off, but it was ultimately decided that she would die so she wouldn't overshadow Ruby and Aqua. Since her death was such an important event in the plot, how would things have gone had she survived?
    • I definitely think there'd be an arc involving Ai trying to find an identity for herself outside of the idol industry. The attack would more than likely cut her career short due to the effects it would have on her body and mental health, effectively tipping Ai's world on its head. Even if she wasn't attacked, most idols tend to retire in their early to mid twenties, so either way Ai would be out of the industry by the time the main story begins. How would that affect her?

Ruby will add her past life's family onto her revenge hit list.
The manga is currently dedicated to yanking poor Ruby's chain, which leads to her going further and further down the deep end. Finding out that Goro had died long ago caused her to become revenge obsessed and Aqua revealing their parentage led to her burning the bridge with said person. The whole incident with Sarina's mother will cause her to fully snap and cross the Moral Event Horizon either through ruining the lives of Sarina's family, including the children who had nothing to do with Sarina being neglected, or using them as bait for the murderer, not caring if they get killed in the process.

The narrator of "45510" is a specific member of the original B-Komachi.
Based on comments that this person made about Ai when they and the other still-living members of the group were invited to and present for the filming of "15 Year Lie", plus the last-page revelation that they are in direct contact with Hikaru Kamiki, the most likely suspect is Nino.

The English dub voice cast
NOTE: due to Sentai's constant searches for new voice acting talent, there is always the possibility of debutants landing any of these roles.

The culprit and Ai are related, with them being half-siblings.
Here me out here. It was mentioned early on in the series that Kana believed that Aqua's name, Hoshino Aquamarine is a stage name. Why can't the same be said for Kamiki Hikaru being a stage name? Ai didn't know her father, and there's about a year's age gap between her and Hikaru, which allows for Ai's father to remarry with another woman and said woman to give birth to Hikaru. Not to mention the fact that Ai never revealed her last name to people, and Hikaru would be using his stage name instead of his actual name in the industry. It's plausible that they never knew they were related until they had intercourse and grew closer. It would explain the fact that the twins were originally stillborn, and would allow Aqua and Ruby to parallel their parents in more ways than one.
