    Season 1 WMGs
Future armor changes for the Earththree/Core Gundam:
  • MerOne: Silver/sky blue, Dual Wielding longswords like Tekkaman Blade
    • MarsFour is shown to have four bladed weapons so MerOne might have been a prototype that's rendered defunct before the series.
    • As an alternative, MerOne could serve as a high-speed form, drawing from the Dom line (large thrusters in the legs and possibly backpack, rifle designed more for mobility and suppression, perhaps a large melee glaive) or maybe Age-1 Spallow (slimmer limbs, smaller melee blades and boosters up the wazoo)
    • And the Core Gundam that comes with it will be in Prototype colors (similar to Real Type but with more white and less red)
    • All theories are Jossed. Mercuone is an underwater-focused armor.
  • JuFive: Green, oversized Mobile Armor with artillery bombardment mode. Bonus points if the Core Gundam that comes with it is in FA Gundam colors from MSV.
    • Alternately, JuFive has a slightly different system, cutting down on time by keeping its armor while the core fighter deploys just the weapons, named for the moons of Jupiter (Ganymede, Io, Europa, Calisto). Without them, the JuFive can still deliver a Finishing Move called "Red Spot".
    • Both theories Jossed. Jupitive is oriented for space exploration and combat, and colored white.
  • SatSix: Purple, strong beam defenses with beam blade funnels like the Age-FX or Beginning 30
  • UraSeven: Yellow/orange, close combat blunt-damage brute like Bolt Gundam (also a potential prototype that's outdated before the series debut) with the Core Gundam in GBN Base Gundam colors
    • Jossed as the HG Jupitive has a Core Gundam with the GBN neon colors, and UraVen Gundam is more of an evolved Earthree. It's purple and specializes in sniping and has Surveillance Drone bits.
  • NeptEight: Grey, amphibious ops unit
    • Could be this guy.
    • Confirmed on the utility and design, Jossed on the name. Its actually Mercuone.
    • Jossed, Neptune Eight is a unit focused on a SEED era weaponized interplanetary propulsion system. i.e. it specializes in travelling through the "sea of stars".
  • PluNine: Black and gold, Game-Breaker final form with Core Gundam in Ecopla colors
    • Alternatively, it could also be a black/purple stealth-heavy unit, either speccing for assassination style work (akin to the Efreet Nacht), or stealthy sniping/recon work
    • Or... Hiroto dismantles the Alus Earthree and uses its parts for his self-declared Plunine armor. Its main gimmick is using the beam saber hands for a Touch of Death.
      • This may yet happen in the Build Divers Battlogue - maybe Hiro pulls it out as his trump card in a free-for-all battle with his own team, hitting them with something they've never dealt with before.
  • XTen: True final form, mostly gold with some black. Bonus points if the Core Gundam that comes with it is in Casval's Gundam colors.
    • As an alternative name, Sol Zero. Keeps with the theme, and fits the idea of it being the ultimate set of parts. As to design, perhaps have it draw inspiration from the other Di VERS (Valkylander's wings, Wo Dom's mounted guns, Justice Knight's lance and shield, etc)
  • FullSolar: Every other armor mixed into one form, probably with some additional armors to put all the wonderful things on it.

Hiroto's Mid-Season Upgrade will be called the Sol Gundam, Rim Gundam, Outer Gundam or something like that.
And the variations will be named after the Outer Planets of the Solar system. The Current Core Gundam has modes named after Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars, also known collectively as the Core Worlds. If his upgrade focus' on improving those modes then it seems possible.
  • Jossed, mid season upgrade is called Core Gundam II and it's add-ons are a Uranus, Saturn and Neptune armor.

Alternately, the "Moons of Jupiter" system is used by a Distaff Counterpart
  • Good money's on Hinata getting it.

The Patrick Colasour cameos are phased out...

The pilot of Gundam Justice Knight is related to Caroline Yajima
  • Jossed. The pilot is Kazami, whose actual name is also Kazami.

The girl Hiroto made friends with is like Sarah!
After watching the first two episodes, and how she was able to understand the Core Gundam's feelings, she's probably an AI like Sarah. What happened to her is another mystery, though.
  • Confirmed. Eve, like Sarah, is an EL-Diver.

Parviz is the brother of Shahryar.
Same Little Bit Beastly white-haired, dark-skinned type of avatar, same Color Motif on his clothes, same Arabian Nights Shout-Out naming scheme. Said he got into the game on a suggestion from his older brother.
  • Confirmed in episode 13. Parviz is Patrick Arge, part of Shahryar / Ruck Arge's family.

Stola will be forced into a Face–Heel Turn and have to fight the BUILD DiVERS
Remember the Daughtress with the rest of the Eldora Army in the opening? That's his "ancient relic", and the Eldora Army will make him join through whatever means necessary.
  • Jossed for two of the points. The Eldora Daughtress units are just more Mecha-Mooks for the army, and the "ancient relics" used by the people of Stola's world seem to refer to more weapons or ruins used as bases rather than any mechs.

Unlike the Star Winning Gundam and Zeromaru prior, the Valkylander won't have a "Real Mode"
Instead, it'll have a special armament that it combines with to become a larger, less-cutesy dragon.
  • Yep, suit is a more standard transforming SD, with only a SD dragon mode and SD Astrea Type-F mode. Will still have to see if there's a Mid-Season Upgrade with a real mode.
  • Said "special armament" could be a customized battleship based off of either the King of Dragon from the design series MSV90 or the Kaiser of Dragon from the Manga Mobile Suit Gundam Katana that Valkylander pilots, called either the "Valkingland" or the "Valkaiserlander" depending on which is used as the basis. Going further, the "Valkinglander"/"Valkaiserlander" could go Macross and switch between a battleship form and a mecha form, and THAT'D be the "Real Mode"! Maybe it could even be kitbashed with Superior Kaiser, which'd fit with the naming convention of "Valkaiserlander"!

Kazami is actually a girl in real life.
Judging from the fact that Kazami is typically a feminine name and Kazami's costume has copious amounts of pink(Kazami even has a Petit'G Guy). Kazami's exaggerated behavior can also be interpreted as a girl trying to pretend to be masculine and heavily overcompensating.
  • Expanding off of this, potential reasons for Kazami to use a male avatar and persona...
    • They want to gain fame as a G Tuber on their own merits, not as a "GBN Girl"
    • They suffer from some form of Gender Dysphoria (either fully, or as a result of environment)
    • They had a bad experience in the past when they used a female avatar
    • Or they're emulating someone they look up to (either in real life or fictionally)
    • They want to come off as tough and badass, hence the manly braggart persona.
      • The real Kazami may in fact be something of a Shrinking Violet, and emulating someone as a way to build up confidence
  • Totally Jossed as of episode 13. He is short, though.

Kazami and Maiya end up together...
...but the campaign is completed and all NPCs have to be reset, so Kazami ends up losing her forever... or at least he spends his remaining days trying to find the campaign and find her again, hoping against all hope that later copies of Maiya have some shred of their memories together. At the same time, Kazami gains a following and a new, stronger party, finally becoming the legend he thinks he is. Bonus points if we Time Skip to see an Older and Wiser Kazami who never quite let go of his wild side, turning him into Orga just as Hiroto was Mikazuki.
  • The reset part is Jossed, those aren't NPDs.
  • The ending up together part though is Confirmed as of the finale.

Hiroto holds a deep grudge aimed at the Build Divers.
Specifically, he hates them after the whole EL-Diver debacle. They brought pretty much all of the attention squarely on to Sarah and went out of their way to save her, and yet never once was any attention brought on that there could be other EL-Divers out there, even if they weren't as destructive or advanced as Sarah. And with the hotfix patch live, any and all of the remaining ones would have been destroyed, including Eve who is most likely also an EL-Diver. Hiroto also most likely saw her disappear right in front of his eyes, possibly in a very traumatic way, further burning in the memory and fueling his resentment. Basically, his grudge boils down to "Why was Sarah saved and got all that positive attention when she caused all that destruction, when Eve who had done nothing wrong was met with the fate of deletion?".
  • Another layer to add onto that: To him, like many in the Coalition, Riku's willingness to risk the entirety of GBN itself just so one EL-Diver can live was arrogant and selfish. Even if Hiroto didn't see Sarah as just a bug because of his experiences with Eve, he still holds a grudge towards Build Divers due to them willing to sacrifice everything Eve taught him to enjoy, as well making his own tragedy pointless.
  • As an alternative, he doesn't dislike them, so much as resents himself for not being them. The mention of them gets under his skin because while they stood up for Sarah, even going against practically the entire world, he didn't, and sided with the Coalition.
    • As of the teaser to EP 20, this seems increasingly the case. He resents HIMSELF for not being able to save Eve, and sees the Build Divers and Sara as a massive, sore reminder that he didn't find a way to save her, rather than a personal vendetta

May's WaDom has a hidden machine inside!
When the villagers were saying it's one of the "One-eyes", May corrected them by saying it's a "Two-eye". The problem is that WaDoms have only one eye! This may be a hit that there's more to May's machine than meets the eye. For all we know there's a Gundam in it!
  • Or she could be referring to the border in front of the lens. Or maybe she is serious, with one eye being the lens of the WaPod, while the other belongs to a smaller machine hidden inside.
    • Somewhat confirmed. It's not a Gundam that's hidden inside however. It's a Mobile Doll, a Gunpla type used by EL-Divers!

Parviz suffered some sort of trauma in his past.
Specifically, he most likely had some traumatic experience involving some kind of areal vehicle in his youth resulting in him developing aviophobia, making him to frightened to take to the skies.
  • Currently, it seems less like aviophobia, and much more like straight-up acrophobia. Presumably, said incident involved whoever "Morgiana" is/was.
  • It might perhaps be tied to whatever left him wheelchair-bound, assuming it isn't just a birth defect.
  • Confirmed as of episode 17 where he ended up flying his glider straight into a thunderstorm and crashing as a result, leaving him paraplegic.

Guesses for who the leader of the One-eyes is
  • It could be a special customized Gunpla based off of Holy God Amon Ra Gundam from Shin Gundam Force Great Pancracion. Their character in the context of the Story Mission's universe could even be that they were once the respected God of the world that grew petty and vain when the people forgot about them, and as such made the One-eyes to destroy them as vengeance.
    • Another theory. Eve herself could be either actively the villain (trying to destroy GBN/the "other world" as a form of revenge for, say, the Sara patch), or passively a source of trouble (the Eldora/One-Eye army is modeled after the Devil Gundam, so Eve could be in a Kyoji/Rain situation)
    • Jossed, it was an ancient AI who has nothing to do with GBN.

May is actually an older Ayame.
  • Due to her association with Magee, her similar appearance, and her outwardly cold attitude. It's possible that she changed her avatar and Gunpla in the two years since the first series, and is still acting in her role as the first Build Divers' spy and scout.
    • Jossed, since Ayame isn't an EL-Diver.

Hiroto knows the pilot of the Gundam Seltsam
  • Based on how he reacted when he saw the Seltsam, Hirito has some kind of history with it. Either they were old teammates or the Seltsam's pilot is part of the reason Eve disappeared.
  • A bit of a wild theory here; The pilot of the Seltsam is Eve after having snapped from seeing how more Gundam-like warfare affected her environment, if not the EL-Diver incident and subsequent patch. Hiroto's searching for her may be because he's trying to stop her, and his reaction to the Seltsam and bittersweet rememberings of his and Eve's time together may also be because they had a falling out.
    • Alternatively, it is Eve, but not acting of her own volition. Either someone else is controlling her/Seltsam (think Yurin), or she's been infected by something akin to DG Cells and is being puppeted
    • This theory is Jossed. When fighting the Setlsam at the beginning of Episode 10, May asks the pilot if he's "Masaki Shido", a previously-unestablished male character. Also, there're hints that Eve might not be around anymore...
      • Theory: "Masaki Shido" IS someone established. Looking at the avatar's singular feature (their hair), and the way they stand in the cockpit, they may be Ogre.
      • Jossed. Episode 13 confirms Masaki is a completely separate character.

Hiroto may be experiencing GBN's equivalent of Assimilation
He retains the head injury he got from slamming his head into his Gundam's control console even after logging out as seen in the preview for episode 10.
  • Jossed hard by Episode 12-13. Hiroto retained this injury because Eldora is Real After All.

Kazami is/was a sailing fisherman
He refers to himself as a Man of the Sea in episode 9 and seems to be a little embarrassed by it, meaning he originally wants to keep his real life separate from his MMO persona or he stopped being one a little before he got into it. His knowledge of how to filet rays also seems to suggest this. Either that or he lives in a small town fishing village and not Tokyo.
  • As a possibility, he could be Hinata's relative, who gave her the ray fins for Osamu.
  • Confirmed in Episode 13. The real life Kazami fishes as a hobby and travels around in a small fishing boat.

May is somehow related to Hiroto
Not really by blood, being an El-Diver and all, but it's odd that she almost looks like a female Hiroto(and odder that nobody seems to notice).
  • Also of note is how the two seem to have a knack for finding each other, even without knowing where the other one has gone. Either they're so similar that they go to the same places, or they're somehow linked.
    • Not quite, though May inadvertently owes her existence to Hiroto: Hiroto had locked on the 00 Sky during the raid on Force Avalon as he was making the final flight towards Sarah in the castle. Had he shot down Riku right then and there, Sarah and any other EL-Divers would have been deleted, including May herself. May is alive thanks to Hiroto not acting on his grudge at the last second.
  • Confirmed by Episode 26: May is Eve's reincarnation. Moreover, May was made from the feelings and wishes of Eve and Hiroto and she shares Hiroto's hair color, irises, and personality, meaning she's effectively Hiroto's and Eve's child.

Parviz' brother is...
Dead. Grim, I know, but a few reasons I've noticed.
  • Parviz NEVER mentions his brother, despite them being the reason he started playing GBN in the first place. Seems odd that he wouldn't at least think about him.
  • If Par is afraid of heights, why would he have designed an MS that's almost 100% designed as an airborne combatant? What if Morgiana isn't his kit, but was given to him by someone?
  • If his brother was the one who got him into the game, why has Par been by himself each time we see him? You'd think that, at the least, he'd be seen with someone besides Kazami.
  • The incident that sparked his acrophobia seems to have been something REALLY traumatic to him. Between how he reacted to Hiroto's questions about Valkylander, and how deeply it seems to impact him, it seems possible that he lost someone during that incident.
  • In the stinger of Episode 12, a person that suspiciously looks like Parviz is seen inside a limousine that looks like the one Syahryar owned in the finale of previous series, hinting that Parviz and Syahryar maybe related to some way or another. This explains his somewhat surprisingly well-done build and the Celestial Being-themed builds that they may have shared with each other.
  • Episode 13 confirms that Parviz is at least part of Syahryar's family, since he has the same surname.

On the nature of EL-Divers
From what little we've seen of EL-Divers, it seems like each has a core feeling that makes them who they are. Sara was based in the feelings players have for their Gunpla, Eve seems to have been based in players love for the world itself, and May seems to be based on the sense of longing that some players have.
  • Episode 13 suggests May has an underlying desire to protect.

The Unlit Lantern was significant
Similarly to "Kubo and the Two Strings", the unlit lantern in EP 10 has a deeper meaning. Namely that... Eve isn't actually gone. She may be missing, or sealed away somehow, but she's alive.
  • Jossed and Confirmed. Eve is indeed gone, but her data was reincarnated as May.

Alus is an "EL-Breaker"
The purple body, controlling aspects of the game, his destructive nature. He's the leftover data of Tsukasa's Break Decals given life.
  • Another theory: ALUS is actually another pseudo-EL Diver. Only rather than being based on the feelings of players, it's based on the code that was the EL-patch. The desire to preserve GBN, the fear of the unknown, the unease of those who knew about the nascent AI emergence. Thus why it's targeting the Resistance. They're becoming similar to what it was created as a response to.
    • As of episode 13, it is explicitly stated Eldora is a planet approximately 30 light years from Earth, so Alus is an AI all his own. From what he said in episode 11, he's the creation of a civilization predating that of the current natives.

Eldora is not the Campaign Mode for GBN but an actual Alternate Dimension
Just as GBN spontaneously created EL-Divers (note the 'El' in Eldora), it ended up creating a whole other environment online that GBN adminstration have had to throw in some scripts to control access to (like said campaign mode), due to certain Divers from our world getting hopelessly lost in there, which is why the Gundam Seltsam pilot is there. On the one hand, GBN scripts secretly give certain Divers a shot at going in there to stabilize the base code and disguise the fact that GBN suddenly decided to go Gate on them - on the other hand we have people like the Gundam Seltsam pilot who made a Deal with the Devil and do Alus' bidding for a chance to be free - or worse, to stay on.
  • Said pilot may not have made a deal. They may have been lost, beaten by ALUS, and forcibly bound.
    • Confirmed and Jossed. While administration explicitly confirms that Eldora is not part of the game in episode 13, it is also explicitly stated Eldora is a planet approximately 30 light years from Earth (i.e., in the same galaxy rather than in a separate dimension). Further Sid was Reforged into a Minion complete with a completely different personality and Evil Costume Switch for both himself and his Tetrium Gundam.

Eve isn't dead
During the reentry scene of episode 12, Hiroto briefly hears Eve calling him. Whatever happened to her, didn't kill her. Instead, she somehow wound up in the tech around Eldora.
  • Jossed. Episode 20 reveals Hiroto was forced to kill her when the bugs she absorbed from Sarah begin overwhelming her. She is reincarnated though as May.

Where the ancient artifacts left behind by the "Creators" really came from
They are all dropped on Eldora thanks to a glitch in the old GPD, and the real reason GPD had to be shut down!
  • Jossed, and technically inverted - the Creators really were a local race from centuries ago, and really did build all that stuff by themselves. GBN is where they went.

    Season 2 WMGs
The second season OP is a IBO-worthy rocking-out theme
To signify the Cerebus Syndrome but keeping it upbeat.
  • It's more of Gundam 00-worthy but still plenty of rocking out.

The BUILD DiVERS will received a fifth member later down the line
The question is who it'll be and what Gunpla they'll pilot;
  • Hinata Mukai is the most likely candidate, wanting to join so that she can get closer to Hiroto.
    • She could pilot any of the suggestions listed below, including the Digel, Perfect Gundam IV, MS Girl, Zaku III Recon Type, Messer, or G-Saviour Space Mode. Or simply pilot the core fighter for Hiroto a la Sayla Mass.
    • Or, to fit with her skillset, something like Astray Red Frame or Rising Gundam
    • Partially confirmed with her appearing as a Diver on Eldora, but with no mech involved much like how Sara started out.
  • An NPD that's aware of their status and wants to help the DiVERS beyond their programmed role could also join as a pseudo-member of the team. The most likely candidates so far are Jed and Stola.
    • Maybe even Freddie, as part of Character Development to become more independent and stronger to protect his people?
    • Touching back on a theory from up above, maybe they could pilot the Daughtress associated with the Eldora Army. If they already have it before it joins the Eldora Army, the BUILD DiVERS will be forced to fight them to snap them back to their senses, but if they don't, they could salvage it after it takes a severe enough beating for the Eldora Army to lose control of it.
  • Whoever it could be could pilot a customized Digel from the Mobile Suit Gundam Age Cosmic Drive/Universe Accel video game.
  • Maybe we'd get a second SD Gundam Gunpla? As for which one...
    • A kitbash of Ryofu Tallgeese and Chousen Qubeley christened the "Ryo Reiki", after Lu Bu's daughter Lu Lingqi.
      • Or, using the new designs, Sinanju Lu Bu and Kshatriya Diao Chan. Still the Lu Lingqui (Bonus nerd points if it uses a cross-glaive ala the DW version of the character)
    • A Gunpla based off of an SD Gundam The Last World character. Maybe a customized Gundam The Gold that goes for a different metal theme, like Gundam The Bronze, Gundam The Silver, or Gundam The Platinum? Or a customized Tri Gunvoy.
    • A Gunpla based off of the Masato Ichishiki Manga, including SD Gundam Mushamaruden, SD Gundam Force Emaki Musharetsuden, and SD Gundam Musha Bancho Fuunroku. It doesn't have to be based off of any character in particular, in fact it could even be a kitbash of the Main Protagonists of all of those works, respectively including Mushamaru, Retsumaru, and Kokuryu/Kokuryu Gundam, complete with both a "cutesy" form and a "serious" form.
    • Or maybe even a Gunpla based off of the obscure Manga Chou C Gundam. Hey, it'd fit in with the "lesser-known" theming of the group.
  • A straight-built Gunpla of the G-SAVIOUR G-Saviour Space Mode. Yes, the same one from the infamous G-Saviour that got a cameo in Episode 8 of Gundam Build Fighters just to get sliced in half. It could be especially notable if the fandom felt that pilot did to it what Shimon Izuna did to the ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam.
  • Or maybe they could throw in a surprise by giving us a customized Gunpla based off of an SD Gundam G Generation mech, like the ORX-012 Gundam Mk-IV or GGF-000 Master Phoenix? Or maybe the OZ-14MS Gundam Aquarius, to tie-in with Cross Rays?
  • We could get a Gunpla based off of the inspiration behind the entire Build sub-franchise, Plamo-Kyoshiro, with a Perfect Gundam IV (After the PF-78-1 Perfect Gundam, PF-178 Perfect Gundam Mk-II, and PF-78-3 Perfect Gundam III "Red Warrior"). And which mech could the Perfect Gundam IV be based off of? The ORX-012 Gundam Mk-IV as noted above!
  • Or maybe even an MS Girl? It'd especially be humorous if the new member turned out to be a fan of the BUILD DiVERS and designed their MS Girl Gunpla out of one of theirs.
  • A Gunpla based off of an Advance of Zeta mech could fit well into the "lesser-known" theming of the group, and would give more animated representation for that series. As for which mech, the AMX-011EW Zaku III Recon Type is lesser-known, and would round out the cast with both the Mecha-Mook of the group and the "Zaku" of the group.
  • While Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Gekko is still ongoing as of this typing, it could get a new rep in this series. Maybe a customized ASW-G-71 Gundam Dantalion, or a customized MPM02/AC Triaina that goes along with the originals magician-like appearance, incorporating stage magician tricks into its fighting style?
  • Since the first of the film trilogy for Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash is coming soon, we might get a Gunpla based off of one of its mechs to promote it, straight-built or customized. Only, we won't get either the RX-105 Xi Gundam or the RX-104FF Penelope, but the Me-02R Messer, to tie-in to the "lesser-known" theming of the group.
  • Or perhaps they could be a returning character from the previous Gundam Build Divers, who's joining for their own reasons.
    • A new Gunpla has recently been announced in the Gundam GP-Rase-Two Ten, a seeming upgrade to Ogre's Gundam GP-Rase-Two. Furthermore, the Gunpla is scheduled to release on April of 2020, same as "Season 2" of Re:RISE. With all of this in mind, maybe Ogre will join the group.
  • Or it could be the pilot of the Gundam Seltsam, joining the team after a Heel Face turn (similar to characters like Emma Sheen or Athrun Zala). Bonus points if the Seltsam is trashed so badly it needs a heavy remodel to get back in the game (and one new Gunpla for the model line).
    • Perhaps one that discards some of the asymmetrical aspects and more clearly resembles the Gundam Mk-III, or even the Mk-IV
    • Rather than a new Gunpla they've instead confirmed an additional addon weapons set compatible with the folding cannon (but makes no mention of the lance - maybe it's a Wrecked Weapon by the time)
      • Or Sid has discarded it and returned to his more familiar combat style, with the two rifles, beam sabers, and the cannon as a support weapon
    • Currently, the most likely candidate is Shido himself, using either the Seltsam/Seltsam Repair, or the Tertium Gundam, once he's broken free of Alus' control
      • Pretty much confirmed considering a new add-on weapon and backpack set for the Tertium Gundam has been announced.
    • Confirmed, Shido and his Tertium Gundam in its true form return as backup for the BUILD DiVERS in Episode 25.
  • Maybe it could be someone who pilots a Gunpla based off of a mech that doesn't have an official model, like say the GF14-001NJ Hyper God Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam: The Next Generation for example. It could even be a model they made themselves as a fan, with their dream being to get the mech an official model. It'd serve as a nice friendly nod to fan-modelers.
  • Confirmed yet also Jossed: Masaki only aids in the final battle on Eldora, but he doesn't join the fray in GBN due to working with Cuadorn to destroy Alus' mainframe to keep him from returning there. The epilogue, however, shows Hinata joining the four in a visit to Eldora, where she's treated like their fifth member.

Like Riku and Sarah and now Magee and May...
...all named Divers from the first season get an EL-Diver partner, setting the stage for a potential Big Damn Heroes with a Badass Army in the Grand Finale of this season.
  • "Patrick Colasour" gets a copy of Setsuna who's actually May's brother back on Eldora
  • Certain EL-Divers turn out to be animals, due to Eldora testing out their process on animals first, much like NASA sending dogs and chimps into space which means Team Chat Noir Neo gets a Team Pet instead
  • I feel so sorry for the ones who got Ogre and Tigerwolf...
    • Jossed, despite over 20 EL-Divers being found we only ever see 3. 4 if you count Alus.

The finale of the series will have the entire GBN pull a Big Damn Heroes
As Hiroto reminisces about Eve in episode 13, she says the if the can "gather the power of wishes and feelings of love from everyone in GBN, than any miracle can occur." In the final battle, somehow the link between Eldora and GBN will grow enough that every player will be able to join the fight and save Eldora, and probably Earth.
  • There will be focus on Kyoya Kujo and the rest of Avalon due to Hiroto's former membership.
    • Alternatively, given the more ensemble-focused nature of things, each member of the aquad will get a hand and a pep talk from someone close to them (Karuna/Kyouya for Hiroto, driving home that he doesn't have to do things alone and reassuring him, Shahryar for Par, telling Par that he's flown higher than ever because of his growth, Captain Zeon for Kazami, telling Kazami that he's a true hero, and Magee for May, letting her affirm that she finally has found her "mission")
  • Another possibility would be that all of GBN's Divers contribute their energy/spirit, in order to empower the BUILD Di VERS, something along the lines of [[Dragon Ball Z]].
  • Semi-confirmed: All of GBN is indeed involved in the final battle, but not on Eldora. BUILD Di VERS, Masaki, and Cuadorn trick Alus, once he's beaten, into trying to gun for GBN itself...where they prepared a large ambush waiting for him when he arrives, with the help of Magee and Kazami's livestream.
  • Also semi-confirmed again: In the last episode, when Alus manages to overwhelm the ambush force, thousands more divers join to turn the tide, including Nanami, Rize, Katsuragi and Ms. Tori, and even a diver that suspiciously sounds like Minato Sakai in the Umi Tryon.

One of the members of BUILD DiVERS will remain on Eldora following the end of the series
Specifically Kazami because he’s the only one who has romantic feelings for one of the residents of Eldora, Maiya. And he isn’t shown in his home or with any friends or family when he was reflecting on the situation.
  • Another possibility would be Parviz. Not only does he also have a strong bond with others in that world (the younglings), but in Eldora, he can walk and run like he can't in the real world
    • Bonus points if Parviz makes the choice first, only for Kazami to drag him back and take his place at the last second.
  • Jossed. No one stays, but the team frequently visit and hang out, even bringing Hinata for one. It's also implied Kazami does stay there occasionally but he's not stuck there.

The recently revealed Core Gundam knockoff will be a recurring enemy over the course of the second season
It will be a constant obstacle on the path to freeing Sid from his enslavement by Alus.
  • Or, alternately, it'll be created after the group frees Sid, as ALUS' ultimate counter to them.
  • Considering that the first alternative armor for the Core Gundam knockoff features antennas resembling Seltsam, it could be related to Sid.
    • The asymmetrical antennae seem less of Sid's design (Tertium has a symmetrical crest), and more of ALUS's design style, mind
    • Given how the enemy Core Unit appears right after showing the pupil of ALUS (not to mention the head has something that look akin to the pupil itself), it could be the personal unit that ALUS controls directly.

Mu Dish makes one last appearance...
...with a new member based on the white horse of Tripitaka while also being an Identical Stranger to Kazami. Bonus points if this happens after Kazami chose to remain on Eldora.
  • Half-confirmed: They do reappear in the final battle, but there's no new member. Plus, they appear to tell Kazami how proud they are of him.

The player behind the Patrick Colasour avatar is...
...2 different people across the 2 seasons. It's the last Sazaki sibling in Re: Rise due to the mannerisms, which is the same reason someone else was playing as Patrick in season 1.

There's another Time Skip after the denouement...
...showing real-world Parviz now with a waist harness that lets him walk again. They bring up how Tsukasa couldn't just develop it with all the tech he did create, and ended up pulling some strings with Nielsen Labs.

May and Eve may have been one and the same person
The OP actually shows an interesting scene where May seeing her own reflection suddenly turning into Eve in the next instant. El-Divers are known to be data given sentience by the Nexus itself. However, there's no evidence saying the death of an El-Diver would cause the data to be completely erased. Also, we are never given the idea of how long May herself have existed. It's a long throw but if somehow there are leftover data of Eve floating in Nexus and it has begun reconstructing itself after some time into a new persona but since the core itself is the same, May is simply Eve given a new makeup and experience. Might explain why May would blurt out some lines Eve said in the past and how Hiroto would somehow ended up getting a vision of Eve as he's falling into orbit in Episode 12.
  • This could also explain why May has a nearly preternatural ability to "get" Hiroto. To know places he ends up going, to correctly get that he wouldn't ask for help against the Ray, etc
  • They both have light green eyes and the same gray sports bra looking top as well. Visual foreshadowing?
  • Since the EL-Divers have all but outright been confirmed to be the Ancients by episode 25, it's peculiar that the Ancient who's clearly supposed to be Eve's past life, given that she's voice by Inori Minase, has black hair, while the Sarah-looking ancient only has difference in shade of white.
  • Confirmed: May was born from the leftover data of the deleted Eve, along with the feelings of her bond with Hiroto, with Eve's earring as an arm band, making her a reincarnation / spiritual daughter.

EL-Divers are Ancients
The Dragon tells us that several Ancients, instead of leaving for space, decided to transmit their bodies across time to after the world regenerated. They're the ones who build and used the temples for that purpose. Somehow, the system touched GBN(which is why GBN players can access it), and they started appearing in GBN as EL-Divers.
  • One of the Shadowed ancients in the flashback to Alus' creation looks just like an older, blonde Sarah.
    • The other one has similarities to an older, black-haired Eve.
  • Suddenly, the EL-Diver moniker becomes so much more significant.
  • All but outright Confirmed by episode 25. We now see them in full, even hear them speak. According to the credits, it's indeed the voices of Sarah (Haruka Terui) and Eve (Inori Minase). While there's no official romanization of their names yet, the katakana of the names clearly sound similar to their EL-Diver names: Sarah/"Shagura" and Eve/"Iruhaav"
  • Fully confirmed in episode 26. The Ancients who left Eldora as Data Life Forms entered GBN in what was believed to be a hacking attempt during its development. Those Ancients are reincarnating as EL-Divers. This is also likely the reason why they came down so hard on Sarah.

The Ancients played a role in humanity's early history
This ties in with the above WMG. Aside from the fact they look awfully human, Cuadorn revealed tat some of the ancient left Eldora on large spaceships. Since Earth and Eldora are only 30 light-years apart and have plenty of similarities (similar atmospheres, similar size, similar moons, they even orbit around similar stars), at least a few of those ships landed here. Anyone familiar with the ancient astronaut theory can then guess what they did. It also explains, if the above WMG is true, why the EL-Divers began to appear in GBN since the ruins picked up o the fact that it was made by the descendants of those who left on these ships.

Reiji's people in Arian are the biological descendants of the Ancients.
From what we can see in Build Fighters, Arian is located in a massive space colony, which means Reiji's people have knowledge of or are connected to a civilization that is capable of space travel. In addition, the Shining Sand that the Ancients used, which can use electronic data to take the form of any conceivable object, is extremely similar to the Plavsky Particles Arian has access to.

Gunpla based off of mechs from SD Gundam The Last World will appear in this show
Last World is the most recent SD Gundam work to have ended, and it'd be really cool to see its Original Generation make their animated debut here, whether in their original forms or as customized Gunpla. It would be especially awesome to see Tri Gunvoy.

Alex Kämpfer from the one-shot Manga GREAT ADVENTURE OF GUNDAM will appear in this show as a GTuber
He will be a rival to Captain Zeon, and will even pilot a Sazabi Gunpla customized to be Earth Federation/Londo Bell-themed, in contrast to Captain Zeon's ν-Zeon Gundam.

Polly from the infamous Doozy Bots will make a surprise appearance as a GTuber or NPD
And she'll pilot a customized GM Gunpla based off of her GM form in the promo, complete with a lasso-whip.

The Kingdom Gundam YJ Tokusei Model Ver. will make a cameo appearance around the end of the series
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Gundam, Kingdom Mangaka Yasuhisa Hara drew a special Gundam design for Weekly Young Jump magazine's 51st issue, which will receive a BANDAI SPIRITS figure called "Kingdom Gundam YJ Tokusei Model Ver." alongside the issue. The figure itself could make a cameo appearance in Re:RISE and, if it doesn't show up around the issue's release, it could very well make an appearance around the end of the series. There is some precedence to this, since the previous Build Divers had a cameo of Victory Daishogun at the end, which had a P-Bandai exclusive figure released around the same time, and BANDAI SPIRITS is part of the Planning Cooperation for Re:RISE.
  • This theory falls under the assumption that the figure's cameo would be for promotional purposes, given the type of Franchise Gundam is, especially the Build series'. However, recently Weekly Young Jump magazine themselves announced that there will be an Animated Short on Jump Festa 2020 starring the Kingdom Gundam, again presumably to promote the figure. So while it doesn't completely null the Kingdom Gundam's chances, it does make them less likely.

Now that they know what's at stake, the BUILD DiVERS will be more adamant in inspiring the people of Eldora to fight back
  • Aware that this isn't a Story Mission in GBN and no longer treating it as such, our heroes will try to rally up the people to fight back against Alus and his Eldora Army, even more so than when they thought they were NPDs. Maybe even teach them to build and pilot their own mechs, using scrap parts from Eldora Army mechs?

After Re:RISE is done, Sunrise will continue using the same release schedule for future Gundam shows later on
Uploading the first cour on Video-Sharing Websites like YouTube, then air it on Broadcast TV, then release the second cour after the first cour has fully aired. Depending on how successful this turns out for them, they may even extend it to their other shows outside of Gundam.

Hiroto is going to use the armor of the first Alus Earthree Gundam he defeated for a Core Change.
It's rather odd that just the head and the rifle were destroyed, leaving most of the suit intact.
  • Inverted: Alus steals the Earthree parts as Hiroto attempts a Core Change. Luckily, Mr. Matsumura comes in on a Gunperry delivering the other six surviving armors.

The BUILD DiVERS adventures are going to be a case of The Greatest Story Never Told
They end the story saving Eldora but aside from the cast of the previous show, their loved ones and the game administration no one will learn of their exploits. They're content with this and decide to stick together and go on to be a high ranking force but nothing out of the ordinary in the eyes of the community.
  • Half-jossed, half-confirmed. Jossed in the sense that no one knows what the BUILD DiVERS did, because now everyone knows of who they are, all thanks to Magee essentially putting out a call to arms towards the entire GBN community to help them defend Eldora. Confirmed in the sense that no one knows the true nature of what's actually happening, because Magee phrased his call to appear like it's a Story Mission.

Copies of each PLANETS System Armor is going to be left on Eldora to give Hiroto the ability to cycle between all of them at his leisure.
And by the end of the series, he will have a battle where he goes through them all in sequence.
  • Possible, but subverted. A Gunperry is used to carry all the armor parts at once, but getting shot down leaves Hiroto with just parts of all the armors.

Alus would make copies of the knock-offs of the original BUILD DIVERS.
After Hiroto defeats the Earthree knock-off, Alus is shown taking an interest in the Build Divers. He will make imitations of the original team based on videos of their victory during the Second Coalition Battle, and as a means to mess with Hiroto.
  • Or even worse, he may recruit the real them, falsely painting himself as a victim of Hiroto and the others. At least until other allies (Namely Magee and Shahryar) set them straight.
  • Jossed. The heroes and Magee were way ahead of him. At least Kyoya, the admins, Riku, and Sarah knew everything about Eldora and him, so there's no way he'd have ever convince them. Besides, Alus has been proven to lack that emotional capacity or advanced logic to manipulate people to act on his behalf anyway. As far as copying the original team and/or their allies, he didn't even try. He just recreated his just-defeated Arche, Nu, Turn X, and an extra Alus Core, relying on hijacking Hiroto's Earthree Armor and his own overwhelming firepower that could damage th GBN mainframe to be a threat, before even that was negated.

For the final battle Alus breaks out his most powerful Mooks yet...
Eldora Zakus, based on the new upcoming HG Char's Zaku-II. Not the mass-produced green ones, Char's Zaku.
  • Subverted, season 2 has the Death Army Mooks develop Zaku-looking modifications but that's it.

The Neptune Armor is the only PLANETS system armor that wasn’t made prior to the series
Instead it would be a design that was left over from before Eve got erased and Hiroto never got around to making it in his grief.
  • Confirmed. Hiroto has stated that he has an Armor that he never finished and he wants everyone's help to finish it. The turquoise pieces shown are clearly for the Neptune Armor.

Alus made a promise to one of the Ancients.
Based on some of his lines it seems that Alus made some kind of promise that he intends to keep. Presumably it was with one of the Ancients. And if the whole "EL-Diver = Ancients" theory is correct then the possible Ancient that made that promise was the one that would eventually become Eve.
  • Or, alternatively, the one who became May. Thus her frustration at Alus, and her being the one who wants to get through to him
  • Pretty much: since May is revealed to be a partially reincarnated Eve, she's still technically the same Ancient that was seen with the Sarah-lookalike.
