"If you really think you are prepared for this journey where you may experience things such as FearPanicInjuriesExtremesweatingEpilepsyFadingHeartAttacksAndTheirVariations, join us right now for a price of only $14.99! PayingWillAlsoMakeUsNotResponsibleForAnyOfTheSymptomsMentionedBefore."

A Five Nights at Freddy's Fan Game by Powerline Studios that combines elements from all of the mainline games in the series (1, 2, 3, 4, Sister Location, Pizzaria Simulator, Help Wanted, and Security Breach).

You play as a teenager lured in by mysterious text messages from your friend Kyle telling you that you must go visit The Fazbear Attraction, an escape room run by Fazbear Entertainment, as soon as possible. After paying your $14.99, you descend into the attraction... only for things to quickly go off the rails as all but the original four animatronics seem hellbent on murdering any visitors.

The game features six levels, each inspired by one of the games in the franchise. To beat the level, you must play minigames while fending off the dangerous animatronics sent to kill you.

A sequel, Beyond Salvation, was announced after originally starting life as a DLC for the original game.

The Glitched Attraction contains the following tropes:

  • Achievement Mockery: As explained below, the player can get themselves killed by stepping into active tesla coils meant for deterring Ballora. An achievement is even granted if you do this, dubbed "Only Two Brain Cells".
  • Alternate Universe Fic: One hidden note reveals the game takes place in a timeline where the Mega Pizzaplex never opened, as it's mentioned Vanessa was set on being a security guard there before the project was canceled.
  • And the Adventure Continues: A dark version, as the killers seemingly text some more of the player's friends inviting them to the attraction, ensuring they will gain more victims.
  • Anti-Frustration Features: If you happen to get killed by any animatronic, the Game Over screen will explain that animatronic's mechanics to you so that you know how to counter them on the next run.
  • Axe-Crazy: Literally. It's possible to see Vanny use an axe on an unfortunate victim to expose his spine.
  • Blackout Basement: Level 2 (Toys) fits this like a glove. At least until you get the power working again for the second half.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: Compared to the main franchise, which typically adheres to Bloodless Carnage and Gory Discretion Shots. Each animatronic kills the player in a different way, some including punching you unconscious or stomping your skull in. We also get to see Vanny brutally vivisecting a victim.
  • Border Patrol: Phantom Foxy serves as this in a similar manner to Foxy and Grimm Foxy in Help Wanted, by jumpscaring the player every time they try to exit the office doors in the third level.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Vanny, as per Help Wanted and Security Breach, is killing people under William Afton's influence. She has also reprogrammed the animatronics to kill, just like in Security Breach.
  • The Bad Guy Wins: Regardless of how the player dies, Afton gets another victim and Vanny uses the player's phone to lure more victims into the attraction.
  • Batter Up!: Vanny knocks out the player with a steel baseball bat. Her character model in the gallery shows her with it.
  • Body Horror: We get a good look at Burntrap and his body is in awful shape. Vanny's notes explain she had to scoop what was left of his charred and rotten remains and attach them to a new endoskeleton.
  • Brown Note: The animatronics in the Attraction are actually just a bunch of special endoskeletons that use auditory-based illusions to fool the senses into perceiving something they otherwise wouldn't otherwise, similar to the technology used by the Twisted Ones, which is why Withered Foxy in Level 2 appears to be glitching out and Springtrap appears real until the vent door breaks the endo disguised as him.
  • The Cameo:
    • Trash & the Gang, alongside multiple makes of Mr. Hugs, show up in one room prior to Level 5.
    • Likewise, as part of one of the puzzles in Level 6, the faces of the Mediocre Melodies and Rockstar Animatronics can be seen on the tiles.
  • Cash Gate: Rockstar Freddy once again takes up this role, needing a coin to access one of the key parts of the puzzle to escape the Back Alley. Thankfully, he's not pushy about it this time around.
  • Controllable Helplessness: There are several such situations, such as if you fail to keep Ballora, Funtime Foxy or Funtime Freddy out in the Tesla Coils level. You can run around the room to evade them for a time, but they will eventually catch you and end the game.
  • Death Course: Every level is one given the game takes place in an escape room with killer animatronics.
  • Developer's Foresight: If hacking to get to the exit of the sixth level, developer text saying "Sorry, pal! No end for cheaters." is seen.
  • Downer Ending: Vanny presents the player to Afton after knocking them out, who leaves his pod and jump scares the player. They then witness the Bite of 83 after their heavily implied death, then Fredbear approaches them menacingly, seemingly ready to bite them next. The game ends with a flashing scene showing that Vanny replaced them with a robot using an illusion disk to lure more victims to repeat the process. Regardless of what happens to the player, Afton and Vanny won.
  • Evolving Title Screen: As you progress through the game, the title screen changes to reflect the latest room you've accessed in the story, complete with animatronics exclusive to that room present as well.
  • Exact Words: During one of the multiple fetch quests of Level 3's arcade machine, Mendo tells Freddy that time runs. By that, he has the need to clarify that his watch had run away from him, meaning time literally ran.
  • Fallen Hero: Vanny, aka Vanessa, the protagonist of Help Wanted, has fully fallen under Afton's influence and has become a Serial Killer, nearly killing the player before leaving them to die to Burntrap.
  • Five-Second Foreshadowing: One computer near the end of the game displays a "Human Motion Detected" warning when the player enters the room. Shortly afterwards, the alarm goes off again right before Vanny knocks the player out.
  • Game Within a Game: The arcade machine in Level 3 and the minigame in Level 6 both qualify. However, they both need to be fully beaten to advance the player's escape, and there's still the risk of the animatronics catching them, prompting them to temporarily abandon these minigames to survive.
  • Gender Flip: Ultimate Custom Night firmly depicts Funtime Foxy as male, with he/him pronouns and a masculine voice. In this game, Funtime Foxy is instead referred to with she/her pronouns.
  • Harmless Electrocution: During Level 4, the player can set off tesla coils to produce electricity and temporarily force Ballora to clear off. Controlled shocks are also needed to stop Funtime Foxy from leaving her Party Mode and going rampant. Downplayed a bit for the former in that you can get yourself killed by touching the active tesla coils and getting zapped to death.
  • Hell Is That Noise: All the animatronics have their usual kill screams, but special points to Mangle and Nightmarionne's horrible distorted cries.
  • Hostile Animatronics: As per usual in the Freddy Fazbear universe. Only the original four are harmless, who are met first thing after entering the attraction and are simply performing, with Foxy even giving the player a free flashlight to help them on their way. Balloon Boy (at least, his regular counterpart) is also harmless, simply watching the player and greeting them on occasion.
    • Nightmare BB, Nightmare Fredbear, Nightmarionne, the Freddles and Nightmare Bonnie are the threats of the Nightmares level.
    • Toy Chica, Mangle and Withered Freddy are the major threats of the Toys level. Withered Foxy can be seen through a window, but he's glitching out somehow, hinting at what the animatronics in the Attraction actually are and how they work.
    • Springtrap and Dreadbear are the main dangers of the Cursed level, with Phantom Foxy, Phantom BB and Phantom Chica able to kill the player as well through draining their sanity.
    • Aside from Circus Baby, all the other Funtime animatronics (Funtime Foxy, Funtime Freddy and Bon-Bon, and Ballora) serve as key threats to the player during the Funtimes level.
    • Following on from the Funtime level, Ennard is the only threat to be found in the Lost Media level.
    • Finally, in the Back Alley level, Molten Freddy, Scraptrap and Scrap Baby (as well as Music Man if the time limit expires) serve as major obstacles to victory.
  • Incompetence, Inc.: Fazbear Entertainment, as usual, follows No OSHA Compliance and is running an attraction that only leads to more murders.
  • Infinite Flashlight:
    • The flashlight you acquire from Foxy at the beginning of the game has no battery limit and can be used as much as you want for the first three levels. However, it gets destroyed after Level 3 and is rendered unusable.
    • Subverted with the replacement flashlight acquired at the start of level 5, which needs to be cranked to work.
  • Mad Scientist: Under Afton's influence, Vanny has become one, vivisecting victims and harvesting their Remnant to make a new body for Afton to possess.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: In the Memory segment during the ending, Michael undergoes this from indirectly murdering his brother, as the penultimate room depicts him kneeling over his dead brother's body and realising that Deadly Prank went too far. No wonder he changed his ways later down the line.
  • The Man Behind the Man: While Fazbear Entertainment is at fault for building such a dangerous place to begin with, Vanny and Burntrap are the real villains behind the escape room becoming as murderous as it has.
  • Music Soothes the Savage Beast: In the latter half of Level 2, winding up a music box and keeping it playing allows the player to survive, just like in the level's game of origin. However, it's not the Puppet you have to keep at bay this time, but Withered Freddy. In addition, winding the music box too much will cause Freddy to break out of his box and block the way to the gear room.
  • No OSHA Compliance: Special mention goes to Level 3, which contains a generator set to explode and pour fire into the attraction with no fire escapes in sight, even for VIP clients and to the end of Level 4, which features an elevator going into free fall with no visible safety precautions in place.
  • No-Sell: While Springtrap can be stopped by closing the doors, Dreadbear can break through the doors in order to catch the player.
  • Nostalgia Level: Each of the main escape rooms, excluding the basement where the ending takes place, is based on one of the many mainline FNaF games pre-Help Wanted.
  • Our Liches Are Different: Burntrap, who is being held together with the remaining scraps of flesh he possesses and an endoskeleton via the Remnant Vanny harvests for him.
  • Outdated by Canon: The game prominently features Burntrap, who is even acknowledged as being William Afton, when later material such as Tales from the Pizzaplex, which made it into the Ruin DLC, suggests Burntrap is really just the Mimic posing as William Afton.
  • Psycho Knife Nut: Vanny, a serial killer wielding a knife.
  • Role Reprise: A few characters retain their canon voices via archive audio from the main games.
  • Sanity Slippage: The player character will lose their sanity if there's too many Freddles in Level 1, or if they suffer from too many hallucinations during Level 3.
  • Schmuck Bait: During Level 4, to fuse Circus Baby's head with her body, a series of codes must be entered to complete the process. However, if you end up forgetting the code, your only choice is to deliberately get it wrong to restart the process, as the "RESTART ACTUAL SYNCHRONISATION" button underneath the numbers is non-functional. Thankfully, there's no penalty to getting the codes wrong other than simply restarting the head fusion.
  • Shout-Out: Several achievements for beating each level reference Five Nights at Freddy's Filk Songs, whether directly sharing their name with a song or containing a phrase from it.
    • "No Time to Live" is taken from the phrase "I got no time to live!", itself from famed Five Nights at Freddy's 4 song "I Got No Time" by The Living Tombstone.
    • "Mechanical Instinct" references the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 song by Aviators.
    • "Unfixable" refers to the Sister Location song by DAGames.
    • "Below the Surface" references another Sister Location song, this time by Fandroid Music / Griffinilla.
    • "Salvaged Rage" is a reference to a Scraptrap-focused song by TryHardNinja.
  • Strategy Guide: In-universe, a device known as the Tip Manager appears at the beginning of most rooms to give the player tips on how to survive each challenge presented to them. However, it only gives the needed information, so the player will have to figure out the rest themselves. While the Tip Manager is present, the player can also explore the room freely without any risk of danger before they get started properly. However, the Tip Manager is outright absent from the Lost Media level, meaning the player has to figure everything out on their own for that level.
  • Timed Mission: Alongside the risk of the hostile animatronics killing you, there is a time limit in the Nightmares, Cursed, and Back Alley levels that the player must endure and beat before they are done for.
  • Unwinnable by Design: What happens if Withered Freddy breaks out of his case if you don't wind the music box enough or wind it up too much, but instead of chasing you he blocks the way to the gear room, and he won't actively pursue you, nor will Toy Chica and Mangle become any more aggressive. But if this happens, it becomes impossible to complete the puzzle outside of glitching or cheats, so you might as well just die or restart anyway. Hiding in the locker inside the gear room prior to his escape means he also blocks you in and will jumpscare you the instant you leave the locker.
  • Vehicular Sabotage: Following Level 4, the Minireenas hijack the elevator, causing a faster descent and kickstarting the darker aspects of the game. Thankfully, for now, it's Not the Fall That Kills You…
  • Wham Shot:
    • At the end of Level 3, Springtrap chases the player out of the level and almost gets them, prompting them to shut a door on top of him... only to reveal he was a harmless animatronic endo the whole time. This may give players relief that there's no sign of William Afton for the time being, but also gives an uneasy feeling that he's likely to show up again.
    • During Level 5, the player can find a room that serves as a secret laboratory for Vanny, with schematics and a plan of how she and Burntrap are luring victims into the Fazbear Attraction so easily. And the Downer Ending shows that, even if the player wanted to expose this twisted loop to the world, they didn't make it, no matter how hard they tried.
