Sandbox / GUAG Justice Incarnate

Go To

This battalion is probably the most prestigious of them all, as DCs legendary Power Trio are the field leaders of this battalion. The name was chosen in honour of the multiversal superhero team from The Multiversity which has never appeared since its debut, only on a far wider scale.

Dr. Manhattan was once an ally, but has since left the Division on account of his True Neutral nature.

Their primary aim is to catch and eliminate every primary DC-based threat in the Pantheon. At the top of their list is Darkseid, Barbatos, Nekron, and most importantly, the Anti-Monitor.

The Trinity

The three chosen leaders of Justice Incarnate and the most legendary heroes in the entire division.

    Bruce Wayne/Batman
Bruce Thomas Wayne, God of Heroes Who Fight in the Shadows (Batman, Bee Gee, The Dark Knight, The Caped Crusader, The Darknight Detective, Crazy Steve, The Goddamn Batman, The World's Greatest Detective, The Son of Gotham, The Spirit Of Justice, Ninja Batman, Batdick, Insider, Robin, Atmahn, Hei an Wushuh, God of Knowledge, Detective Hawke, Paul Grant, Black Pirate, Frank Dixon, Jack Shaw, Matches Malone)

The Hellbat Armor
  • Lesser God (Greater God when donning the Hellbat or the Final Batsuit)

  • Hero Class: A
  • Symbol: One of his Bat-emblems or The Bat Signal
  • Alignment: Lawful Good (and every other alignment at some point)
  • Reason for Joining: He joined a little later than Captain America and Superman out of a need to 'study' its members first. Even then he only took occasional visits to GUAG Command meeting and private admitted he distrusted most of the councillors in attendance. It was only after Johan Liebert and the Joker founded the GUAE Liebertarian Movement that he chose to take a more active role in matters. And by his own words: because he's the Goddamn Batman.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Initially Low but has transitioned to a Medium and now a High. She's one of the few sincerely good characters in the GUAG who visibly shrinks back from exercising pragmatism and 'for the greater good' acts. He used to think of her as naive to the horrors of the Pantheon but realized this was a show of Obfuscating Stupidity, something he can get behind.
  • Threat level: High. He's faced off strongmen, supervillains and even freaking gods and came out on top. He managed to shoot Darkseid for crying out loud! There's also the fact that his rogues gallery is one of the toughest and vilest yet (even without the Joker). His threat level equals Cap, but there's the added bonus that Batman can beat almost anyone if he has prep time.
  • Serves as the leader of the Dark Team and the Bat Swarm.

    Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman
Clark Kent, God of Superheroes (Superman, Superboy I, Nightwing, Kal-El, Jordon Elliot, Supes, Smallville, The Man of Tomorrow, The Last Son of Krypton, The Man of Steel, The Metropolis Kid, The Big Blue Boyscout, Earth's Adopted Son, The Spirit Of Hope, The Blur, Clark White)

  • Greater God (Overdeity if near a blue star)
  • Hero Class: S
  • Theme Song: John Williams' theme, His TAS theme or Hans Zimmer's take
  • Symbol: A shield with an "S" on it.
  • Alignment: Lawful Good
  • Reason for Joining: For Truth, Justice, and the American Way!
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Good Guy leader. Loyalty given.
  • Threat level to Melkor: VERY High. By sheer power and experience alone, Supes is one of the biggest threats to Melkor's army, but he's also such an insanely determined and inspirational hero, it's hard for anyone to not be inspired to back him up. Oh, and if he's the last one standing? The threshold has been crossed, prepare for a beatdown. Also, any hero fighting by him KNOWS that Supes has his/her back, so they will be doubly determined to fight.
  • House(s): Heroism

    Diana of Themyscira/Wonder Woman
Diana of Themiscyra, Goddess of Truth (Wonder Woman, Diana Prince, Champion of the Amazons, Amazing Amazon, God of War, Spirit Of Truth, The God Killer)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/image_427.jpg
  • Greater Goddess
  • Hero Class: A
  • Symbol: Double letter W, or golden eagle
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: To defend those that cannot defend themselves.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Holds Cosmos in high regard as a strong woman committed to justice. Loyalty high.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High.
  • Acts as liaison to the GUAG Magical Girl Sisterhood.

Bat Swarm

The members that fight crime in the streets of Gotham (and Blüdhaven). This division is directly linked to the Dark Team, due to Batman’s involvement.

    Barbara Gordon/Batgirl II
Barbara Gordon, Goddess of Former Handicaps (Batgirl, Babs, formerly Oracle)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/2011BarbaraGordonBatgirl2_2358.jpg
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Hero Class: B
  • Symbol: The Bat Symbol, colored yellow
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining:
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. Barbara can be stubbornly independent and she may not always enjoy the complications that come with being a crime-fighter, but she's also fiercely loyal and courageous. If she's on your side, she'll fight for you with everything she's got.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Moderate on her own, but High in influence. Not only is she a capable fighter as Batgirl, but she's the leader of the Birds of Prey, and her knowledge of library science and computing skills make her indispensable as an information broker for her allies.

    Cassandra Cain-Wayne/Batgirl III/Orphan II and Damian Wayne/Robin V
Cassandra Cain-Wayne and Damian Wayne, Divine Protectors of Troubled Children (Cassandra: Cass, Batgirl, Black Bat, Orphan II | Damian: Ibn Al Xu'ffasch [birth name], Damian Wayne-al Ghul, Son of Batman, Redbird, Robin V, Regime Nightwing)

The Arkham Knight
  • Lesser God
  • Hero Class: B
  • Symbol: His Red Hood helmet or a red Bat symbol.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral/Chaotic Good
  • Reason For Joining: A regular Bat-family member since he was revived.
  • Loyalty To Cosmos: Moderate.
  • Threat Level To Melkor: High, a Robin that kills should logically be a force to be reckoned with in combat.

    Richard "Dick" Grayson/Nightwing
Richard "Dick" Grayson, God of Blameless, Guilt-Free Sex (Nightwing, The World’s Greatest Acrobat, formerly Robin I)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nightwing_133_ryan_sook_1682.jpg
  • Lesser God
  • Hero Class: A
  • Symbol: Escrima Sticks (a phallic Weapon).
    • Recently there is a push by his followers for a framed picture of his posterior to be the symbol
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Reason for Joining: He's a hero, it's his job.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: See above. Also, Cosmos is the good guy leader. He'd be a hypocrite not to be loyal.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: High. He was trained by Batman, that's enough to be worried about him. Very High if Nightwing becomes Batman in Bruce's absence/incapacitation.

    Terry McGinnis/Batman
Terry McGinnis, God of Former Teen Rebels (Batman II, Batman V, Batman Beyond, The Tomorrow Knight)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/batman_beyond.png
Without the Batsuit
  • Lesser God, borderline Intermediate God with the Batsuit.
  • Hero Class: B
  • Symbol: The Batsuit.
  • Alignment: Between Neutral Good and Chaotic Good.
  • Reason for Joining: Outside of it being his duty as a Batman to help fight villainy, there was also the chance to work with his mentor and the rest of the batfamily in their prime, something Terry simply couldn't pass up.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: Extremely high. It’s his chance to help people who are in trouble. On a personal level, it’s his chance to look like a worthwhile human being again.
  • Threat Level to Melkor: Almost as high as Bruce's. He may not possess the magnificent brain that Bruce does, but he does have his heart. Terry is incredibly stubborn, and he likes to talk.

    Tim Drake/Red Robin
Timothy Jackson "Tim" Drake-Wayne, God of Sidekicks (Tim Wayne, Red Robin, Robin III, Batman [Main and Beyond], Redbird, True Partner, Boy Wonder [Shared with all Robins], Mister Sarcastic, Alvin Draper, Tom Harper, Iggy Pollaky, Detective [by Ra's Al Ghul], Little Bird [by Lady Shiva], Gary Glanz/Spectacular Sunbird, Caroline Hill, Cal Corcoran, Rob Roy)

  • Hero Class: A
  • Symbol: The S-Shield/Shield of the House of El.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Reason for Joining: Nobody hurts her family or innocent people. She will not allow it.
  • Loyalty to Cosmos: High. Cosmos protects innocent people, and Supergirl's cousin and other heroes vouch for her, so Supergirl trusts Cosmos and will fight for her.
  • Threat level to Melkor: VERY High. She is one of the most powerful and most experienced heroes, especially her Earth-One self. She is more temperamental and more determined than her cousin, which makes her even more dangerous. And she has a lot of experience fighting multiversal menaces. If Melkor hurts her cousin she WILL go berserker, and History tells that even if Melkor kills her, he will be so crippled and weakened that the remainder heroes will have a chance to destroy him.
