"It's Spring Break and the mayhem of those trying to survive persist, with many meeting unusual ends and everybody just trying to make it out alive! However, it's not just the power of the Infinity Stones that drives this along. It's that Basky's got an ex-boyfriend that doesn't take kindly to intruders..."

  • Accidental Misnaming: Ed keeps calling Bagan "Bacon" several times, much to his chagrin.
  • Accidental Murder: River accidentally kills Frisk with a straw arrow.
  • Alas, Poor Yorick: Nicol gives a mocking version to Ugin's severed head, crushing it cruelly after he's done before he's forced to go back to planning after getting Bagan's beam to the back.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Tigress is forced to tear off Chise's dragon arm during a fire, throwing it into the flames before finishing her off.
  • Animal Stampede: A herd of Toraton do this after the alpha steps on a LEGO brick. Mora is crushed underneath in the scuffle.
  • Attack Backfire: Link throws a bomb near the end, but it's punched back at him, obliterating him. To add insult to injury, his Master Sword flies up and lands pointy-end first into the Sheikah Slate.
  • Attack on the Heart: Tigress punches Bagan's chest with enough force to ram his own ribs into his heart.
  • Attack the Mouth: Frosh shoves a bazooka up Cynder's maw, firing to end her quickly.
  • Annoying Arrows: Raze's arrows tend to be this, more times than often. The only thing they usually do is strip characters.
  • Anti Climaxboss: Nicol Bolas, despite being a metric TON more powerful than more than half of the characters here, is easily dispatched by Garlic Jr's minions in a combination attack.
  • Ass Shove: Frosh, apparently, was at the receiving end of this trope before the match.
  • Badass Family: Aside from the dysfunctional Team 8, Team 10 is very much this, even though Ralsei isn't blood-related.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Baskerra warns this to Tigress, stating it's why the Hellhound kills every leprechaun she meets.
  • Beam-O-War: Zaigorg and Garlic Jr engage in one. The latter wins out, especially since he's powered-up. Oh, and he threw several ki-balls into his head to make it unfair.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Frosh may appear to be a useless coward, but when push comes to shove, he can get a bit vicious when he wants to be.
  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: Moon Calves run rampant throughout this entire Arena.
  • Blood Sport: At one point, Raze and Raine are forced into a version of Ping-Pong in which they're forced to wear skimpy clothing...and the eagle anthro uses KNIVES instead of balls.
  • Boom, Headshot!: Zhima and Asriel inflict this upon Ralsei and Lord Death, respectively.
  • Brain Drain: Aqua is subjected to a fatal version of this by a Mind Flayer.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: Alture turns the Valley of Peace and the Furious Five themselves against Tigress at the end. It doesn't last when his control is broken.
  • Call-Back: Namah Calah recalls how her sister was spirited away, as what happened during Episode 1. Speaking of which, Thane's team takes up residence in the Underground Nuclear Bunker.
    • Related to Ed's universe, he actually kept Sheldon, the rotting fish skeleton. This helps him escape Zitara's wrath, as the stink of the discarded thing drives her off.
    • Alture and Chise express relief that a giant robot hasn't attacked during the first day, as what happened last episode.
  • Captain Ersatz: The entire Garlic Jr sequence takes from the Dragonball Abrided version of 'The Dead Zone'. Every sequence involving Alture with the Soul Stone takes from two of the scenes from the Music Meister episode from Batman: The Brave and the Bold
  • The Chessmaster: Nicol Bolas, per the usual. He orchestrates several deaths all from a distance and bides his time...alas, he's not the final villain.
  • Combination Attack: Ginger, Cinnamon, and Pepper do this against Nicol Bolas, vaporizing him.
  • Compelling Voice: Thanks to the Soul Stone, Alture Essun gains this...THROUGH SONG!
    • Earlier, Nicol Bolas uses this from a distance to influence other combatants into attacking even their own allies.
  • Cosmic Keystone: The most to appear in one episode! Power, Reality, Mind, and Soul. All are utilized by many combatants over the course of the episode.
  • Disintegrator Ray: The Dark vaporizes Power Girl with his Eye Beams in an instant. However he is undone by Thane, preventing him from returning.
  • Drill Sergeant Nasty: The Soldier, naturally, talks to his team like this.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Those that die in the Bloodbath are Fang, Ugin, and Diane.
    • Several other characters die quite quickly over this, like Zhima, as her dead body is found by a teleporting Thane at one point. Toriel is also easily dispatched by an exploding Turducken without fanfare. Racheal by Nicol offscreen, too.
  • Enemy Mine: The remaining combatants past Day 7 (barring Nicol) put aside their differences to fight against the forces of Garlic Jr when they're teleported to his location.
  • Gender Bender: Ralsei, thanks to Succubus Milk, is turned into a female version of himself. A curvaceous version, no less.
  • Genre Savvy: Racheal wisely agrees with the Soldier during the Bloodbath that retreating is the right option.
  • Girl on Girl Is Hot: Happens between Racheal and Penelope at one point, the cat eventually giving in.
  • Good Hurts Evil: Aphrodisiac fills Darkseid with happy thoughts...much to his chagrin, demanding those thoughts get out of his head.
  • Grievous Harm with a Body: Namah wraps her tendrils around Thane's sword to fling the wolf right into Zig-Zag during the Bloodbath. In fact, this happens a few more times, like Power Girl flinging Cynder into a rocket-jumping Soldier.
  • Groin Attack: Tifa delivers one to an aphrodisiac-induced Zaigorg when he tries to use his tentacles to drag her to his dick.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: Fang by Sally.
    • Garlic Jr, despite being immortal, is sliced in half by Link's Master Sword. Makes sense, given that its made of holy magic.
  • High-Voltage Death: Raven intends to drown Sally in a river, but a Lurkfish, one that's oversized, electrocutes the water, frying the squirrel and allowing her to be devoured.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Once more, Garlic Jr is thrust into the Dead Zone when he opens a portal to it so he can take out everybody in his home. Lampshaded by both him and everyone else, causing him to try to stop it before Link uses the Master Sword to bisect him and send him into the depths.
    • How Alture is defeated at the end. Tigress uses his own Compelling Voice against him, by allowing herself to sing a duet with Po. Given that Po has the legendary singing voice of Jack Black, the resulting sound waves destroy the signal controlling everybody and cause the stones to self-destruct from the noise.
  • Homing Lasers: Darkseid fires these several times, usually in confusion due to all around him. Genesis, however, is struck down by them at a later point.
  • Horrifying the Horror: Darkseid is left at an utter loss by Text-to-Speech Grinch, especially since the latter absorbed Santa's power. Fans might get a chuckle, as Santa has been a being that's been able to elude the New God in canon (and keep giving him coal).
  • Ignore the Fanservice: The Soldier ignores Racheal's newly acquired bust in the story, focusing more on lookout.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Thane winds up putting his fist through Ed.
  • In the Back: Tigress is slashed across the back by Ginger in the penultimate battle. The scars from that are permanent.
    • Ironically, this is how she disposed of Asriel, driving her claws through his back right as he was done killing Zhima.
    • Sasha also meets her fate by Raven when a piece of metal is telekinetically thrust from behind into her.
  • Interspecies Romance: Several trysts occur like this, but the main one is, of course, Tigress and Po.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Pepper gets a glimpse of Raven's demonic true form, causing him to smash through a wall and willingly plunge into the ocean to escape her wrath. This winds up saving him in the end from the chaos that happens later.
  • Lethal Chef: Namah Calah is undone by the oft-returning Nasty Patty in an instant. Raze also meets her end by one.
  • Lethal Joke Character: Text-to-Speech Grinch, a being that manages to kill Penelope and DARKSEID with relative ease...before being put down by Zitara and Raven.
  • Light 'em Up: Rain's power, per the usual, but it's notable in that it blows Ginger away right into Cinnamon, killing them both.
  • The Load: Frosh is this to his team, usually fleeing from danger and panicking with ease. He DOES manage to do a few useful things, like defeat Cynder.
  • Lotus-Eater Machine: Nazuna is dragged into one of these to her doom. It's being run by Dranei, as well, all beguiling people to their lair. It also nearly takes Tigress later.
  • Major Injury Underreaction: Ed's reaction to being cartoonishly gutted by Thane's fist? Be astonished where his breakfast went and promise the audience that he'll see them next time.
  • Minecart Madness: Chise, Sebastian, and Racheal wind up in one of these at one point. A giant version of a Slickribbon attacks them. It happens AGAIN to Chise, Elias, and Link a few days later.
  • My Skull Runneth Over: Zig-Zag abuses the Mind Stone with enough force to ensure her demise, her brain reduced to mush.
  • Neck Snap: Zig-Zag does this on Scarlet, using the Mind Stone to make it easier.
  • No Indoor Voice: The Grinch, during his meme-tastic cameo. Helps it's by a garbled Synthetic Voice Actor
  • No Kill like Overkill: Several deaths, but Soldier's death takes the cake, with him being reduced to giblets by many rocket-powered penguins.
  • Off with His Head!: Diane's head is taken off by the sheer power of Zhima's newly acquired drip. Yes, really.
    • A weakened Ugin by Sasha.
    • A tricked Palladia by Genesis.
  • Oh, Crap!: A notable occurrence is when Frosh attempts to flee back into a container during the Bloodbath...only for Palladia Mors to greet him. It's amazing he gets out alive.
  • Pinned to the Wall: Raine pines Frosh fatally with a Holy Lance to a tree.
  • Related in the Adaptation: Apparently, Garlic Jr and Baskerra Hellmane are exes.
  • Rummage Sale Reject: Baskerra absolutely HATES the Leprechaun outfit she has to wear for the month, muttering she has to fire her agent sometime.
  • Scary Scarecrows: Zitara and Scarlet are attacked by the demonic scarecrows from 1988 during one night.
  • Showdown at High Noon: Zhima and Ralsei have one of these, reluctantly. Zhima wins.
  • Silent Protagonist: Link, per the norm.
  • Slowly Slipping Into Evil: Raven, due to Trigon's influence, starts to become more ruthless and violent right up to her end.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Pepper, the last of Garlic Jr's minions, is spared from death, carried off on a raft off to sea while he makes a jab at the Makyo Star arc.
  • St. Patrick's Day Episode: Due to this taking place in March, naturally. Baskerra even wears a Leprechaun-like outfit. Other than that, nothing much related to that is alluded to...unless you count the sudden inclusion of Garlic Jr.
  • Take That!: Pepper's last scene is him claiming that Garlic Jr should have hired the Spice Boys and used the Makyo Star, only to concede that it would have made for a boring arc.
    • Earlier, Ed throws Custer, knowing full well what he does for a living, right into the sun.
    • Grand Gosei is once again mocked for giving random upgrades, like a useless helm to Cynder and NOT the under-equipped Sebastian.
    • Power Girl has to deal with a flame war, alongside Zig-Zag, that involved the controversial reason for her cleavage.
  • Tentacled Terror: Several show up for usually lewd purposes. One unfortunate monster has its tentacles chewed off by Bagan.
  • Terrible Trio: Garlic Jr's minions, per the norm. Namely, Ginger, Cinnamon, and Pepper.
  • These Hands Have Killed: Frosh, a few moments after killing Cynder, has this reaction, horrified that he might be going to Hell. Dawn has to help him snap out of it.
    • Roxas has a similar reaction when his actions cause River to be swallowed up by a Ceiling Barnacle.
  • Threatening Shark: Sasha and Wonder Woman end up trapped in Sharkopath-infested waters. Sasha makes it, while the other doesn't...and it isn't pretty.
  • Villain Song: Alture has two, all lifted and adjusted from the Music Meister.
  • Unwanted Harem: Bagan ends up on the receiving end of being dog-piled by lust-addled girls, including Mora, Artica, Tifa, and Nazuna.
  • Was It Really Worth It?: Alture begins to have second thoughts about the path he's going down near the end, but eventually decides that he has no choice but to end things.
  • We ARE Struggling Together: A few teams here and there, but ESPECIALLY Fuli and Magna's teams, whom are filled with either good guys unable to stand the evil around them...or just a screwed up dragon family like the latter.
  • With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: Alture winds up going drunk with power thanks to Mind Stone, turning into the final antagonist.
  • The Worf Effect: Happens to even the powerful dragons of Team 8, as Bagan's misfired beam greatly wounds Ugin enough to leave him open for death. Still, Chromium is able to withstand a blast of Darkseid's omega beams.
    • Speaking of Darkseid, he and Penelope are undone by the Text-to-Speak Grinch.
  • Worthy Opponent: Bagan calls Tigress this due to her being able to slay him.

Winner: Master Tigress (Fuli the cheetah's pick)
