• Prize Task: The Most Beautiful Thing
  • Winner: Danielle - a fishing shirt that she converted into a bedazzled dress, to be worn at the Logies if she wins it back (5 points)
  • Jimmy - a tweet of someone expressing their preference for Australian comedian Kitty Flanagan to have been the Taskmaster. Main Tom agreed that she would have been good, but states that this is Australian television, so he, a white man, gets to host (4 points)
  • Julia - a coffee mug with an image of a young Tom Gleeson printed on it (3 points)
  • Nina - a cigarette butt she found in a gutter, with lipstick on the filter (2 points)
  • Luke - an analogue alarm clock, representing the opportunity to wake up and see a beautiful sunrise (1 point)

• Task 1: Remove The Balloon From Inside The Caravan. You May Not Touch Or Step Into The Caravan. Fastest Wins.
  • Winner: Nina - 3 minutes 18 seconds (5 points)

• Task 2: Create A Minute Long Montage Of Your Life. The Best-Looking Life Wins. You Have 45 Minutes.

  • Julia (1 point)^note Created a slideshow of photos on her phone and sang over it, as opposed to the other contestants who filmed something

• Task 3: Fill The Glass With Orange Juice. You May Only Touch Oranges With The Items On The Bench. Fastest Wins.
  • Winner: Julia - 1 minute 13 seconds (5 points)^note Noticed that the task never specified the juice had to come from the oranges on the bench, and used a bottle of orange juice from a fridge to fill the glass
  • Jimmy - 7 minutes 41 seconds (4 points)
  • Luke - 17 minutes 36 seconds (3 points)
  • Nina - 19 minutes 29 seconds (1 point)^note Had only filled about half the glass with orange juice and argued that she had filled the glass more than halfway and thus should count as full if rounded up. However, Lesser Tom reveals that she managed to fill only 49.4% of the glass.
  • Danielle (Disqualified)^note Completely misunderstood the rules and squeezed the oranges with her hands

• Live Task: While Standing Beside Your Table, Throw A Throw, Boot A Boot, Bowl A Bowl, Flick A Flick, Or Propel A Propeller the closest to the edge of the stage. If your item goes over the edge, you are eliminated. If no item falls, the contestant furthest from the edge of the stage is eliminated. Once you have selected your item, you must throw, boot, bowl, flick or propel on Tom's whistle. Repeat until the last player standing wins.

Episode 2 - "Keep It Clean And Flowing"

• Prize Task: The Most Satisfying Thing To Touch
  • Winner: Danielle - a "sensitive weed" plant, which entertained her on school sports days, causing Main Tom to award her the 5 points out of pity (5 points)
  • Nina - an imprint of her backside on a pair of pin-art toys (4 points)
  • Jimmy - kinetic sand, which he admits to playing with even when his children aren't present (3 points)
  • Julia - a model of a bladder and prostate (2 points)^note Main Tom noted that the person actually touching the prostate probably wouldn't be satisfied
  • Luke - a mannequin hand, to represent the 'union valley' pressure point (1 point)

• Task 1: Let The Cat Out Of The Bag. Once You Touch A Bag, You Must Open It. Fewest Bag Openings Wins. Your Time Starts Meow.^note The task took place on the lawn by the Taskmaster house, where 100 red nylon drawstring bags had been laid out, in the shape of a cat's head with the word 'CAT' written across it, and an arrow pointing towards one specific bag. Each bag contained both a stuffed cuddly toy and an item indicating the 'hot'-ness or 'cold'-ness of the bag's location, in relation to the bag containing the target cat (ranging from ice cubes to a chilli pepper)
  • Winner: Danielle - 1 bag opening (5 points)^note Identified the arrow pattern fairly quickly
  • Nina - 2 bag openings (4 points)^note Figured out that she could look inside the bags without opening them by laying down. She also made a $50 bet with Lesser Tom that she would win the series after looking back on this task, which became a running joke after Nina's chances of winning the season began to drop
  • Luke - 4 bag openings (3 points)^note Found the arrow after a few failed guesses
  • Jimmy - 22 bag openings (2 points)^note Identified the hot-and-cold pattern, but needed several guesses to work out where the pattern was pointing
  • Julia - 71 bag openings (1 point)^note Noticed the bags that spelt 'CAT', but gave them no further thought, opening bags at random

• Task 2: Call An Older Family Member And Make Them Hang Up On You. If They Suspect You Want Them To Hang Up On You, You Will Be Disqualified. Fastest Wins. Your Time Starts When They Answer The Call.
  • Winner: Julia - 17 seconds^note Rang her agent, noting that most of her older relatives are already dead. The Taskmaster accepted this reasoning (5 points)
  • Nina - 1 minute 8 seconds (4 points)
  • Jimmy - 2 minutes 25 seconds (3 points)
  • Luke - 20 minutes (2 points)
  • Danielle (Disqualified)^note had caused her grandmother concern and admitted that she was simply doing a task

• Task 3: Do The Bravest Thing With This Ream Of Paper. Bravest Thing Wins. You Have 20 Minutes.
  • Winner: Luke - blindfolded himself with the paper and negotiated his way around an obstacle course (5 points)
  • Jimmy - donned paper armour as he faced his fear of being poked in the eye with the spoke of an umbrella (4 points)
  • Nina - spelt out "MY ♡ IS BROKEN" with paper sheets, after having recently gone through a breakup (3 points)
  • Danielle - made a sword and shield out of paper and duct tape and confronted some geese, which flew away when she approached (2 points)
  • Julia - Printed out her political beliefs on a piece of paper (1 point)

• Live Task: Wearing Your Chopstick Gloves, De-pineapple The Pizzas, And Put The Pineapple In Your Bowls. If You Want A New Pizza, You May Request One From Tom C By Asking Him Accurately And Politely In Italian. The Contestant With The Most Pineapple Juice Extracted Wins. You Have 120 Seconds.

Episode 3 - "Cricketmaster"

• Prize Task: The Thing You'd Most Like To Be Buried With
  • Winner: Danielle - a treasure map, to prank anybody who dug her up (5 points)
  • Luke - a shovel, in the event of being buried alive (4 points)
  • Nina - worms, to prank the worms already in the soil around her (3 points)
  • Jimmy - his phone, in the event of being buried alive (2 points)
  • Julia - a BIC lighter so that she may be cremated rather than buried (1 point)^note The Taskmaster noted that, not only would she be dead and thus unable to cremate herself, the lighter would be completely ineffective regardless

• Task 1: Fly This Thong^note flip-flop The Furthest. The Furthest Thong Wins. You Have 20 Minutes.
  • Winner: Julia - 269 metres (5 points)^note stuck the thong in the "fly" of her pants and ran with it. The Taskmaster accepted this as a valid interpretation
  • Luke - 40.38 metres (4 points)
  • Jimmy - 28.19 metres (3 points)
  • Nina - 9.12 metres (2 points)
  • Danielle - 0 metres (1 point)^note Used a green screen to portray the thong as flying out to Planet X, which caused both Toms to ponder the distance to a hypothetical concept when merely pretending to travel there

• Task 2: Team Task - Transform Into Twins^note for the team of 2/Triplets^note for the team of 3. The Most Convincing Transformation Wins. You Have 30 Minutes.
  • Winner: Danielle and Julia (5 points)

• Trick Task: Also, You Must Choreograph A Beautiful Dance To Perform At The End Of Every Team Task. You Have Five Additional Minutes For Your Beautiful Dance Choreography.
  • Victims: Danielle and Julia^note The Taskmaster noted that they would be deducted a point every time they failed to perform a dance

• Task 3: Perform The Most Passionate Cricket Appeal^note a cricket appeal is the fielding team declaring that one of the batters is out and asking the umpire to concur, usually by means of shouting "howzat!" ("how's that!"; i.e. "in or out?") and celebrating. Most Passionate Cricket Appeal Wins. You Have 20 Minutes To Prepare Your Appeal. Your Appeal Starts When The Ball Hits The Pads^note cricket pads on a mannequin.

Episode 4 - "BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM"

  • Winner: Julia - an air-dancer she found in her neighbourhood (5 points)
  • Danielle - a photo of a crab she found in a nearby park, despite not living near a beach or river (4 points)
  • Jimmy - a menu from a "hipster, wanker-y kinda café" (3 points)
  • Nina - a bánh mì from Marrickville Pork Roll, a short distance from the office of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese (2 points)
  • Luke - a chair found on the side of the road (1 point)

• Task 1: Sink The Bowling Ball. You Cannot Get Wet. The Fastest Wins^note The bowling ball was on a raft in the middle of the lake, and was buoyant. Most of the contestants did get slightly wet, but the Taskmaster was willing to overlook this as they made a conscious effort to obey the rules
  • Winner: Jimmy - 2 minutes 4 seconds (5 points)
  • Julia - 8 minutes 14 seconds (4 points)
  • Luke - 14 minutes 6 seconds (3 points)^note Placed it in the sink in the kitchen
  • Danielle - 40 minutes 23 seconds (2 points)
  • Nina - 78 days, 9 hours, 23 minutes as of studio filming (1 point)^note Knocked the bowling ball into the water and failed to notice it still floating. The ball can be seen in later tasks.

• Task 2: Snap Something, And Crackle Something, And Pop Something. Your First Snap, Crackle, And Pop Counts. Most Satisfying Snap, Crackle, And Pop Wins. You Have 20 Minutes.
  • Winner: Jimmy - "snapped" a portrait of Tom Gleeson in two by sitting on the edge of it, "crackled" unidentified dry foods underneath a pan, "popped" two balloons at once by inflating one balloon inside the other and bursting them with seconds to spare (5 points)
  • Danielle - "snapped" the clapperboard used by the production team, "crackled" an egg shell with her hand, "popped" a balloon with a kitchen knife^note originally planned to burst an exercise ball with an axe, but was dissuaded by the production team (4 points)
  • Julia - "snapped" at Lesser Tom, "crackled" some rice cereal with a lighter, "popped" by using a pop sound from her mouth (3 points)
  • Nina - "snapped" a twig in two, "crackled" popcorn within her hands, "popped" by using a mouth sound^note After each attempt, Nina retried by snapping another twig, crinkling a plastic package, and pulling the stopper out of a decanter. All these attempts are shown in studio, but with the sound removed as they do not count. Lesser Tom confirmed that these muted attempts were far superior (2 points)
  • Luke - "snapped" a bundle of wooden skewers^note with much difficulty, resulting in a less than satisfactory snapping sound, "crackled" some rice cereal with the end of the boom mic, "popped" by performing a pop song about his fear of growing bald like Main Tom. (1 point)

• Task 3: Thoroughly Spread This Generic Yeast Spread^note probably Vegemite On The Best Thing. You Have 12 Minutes... Then Completely Clean The Generic Yeast Spread Off Your Best Thing. Fastest Wins
  • Winner: Danielle - a portrait of the Taskmaster, 2 minutes 21 seconds (5 points)
  • Julia - herself, 6 minutes 32 seconds (4 points)
  • Luke - his arm, 7 minutes 33 seconds (3 points)
  • Nina - a globe, 11 minutes 8 seconds (2 points)
  • Jimmy - Lesser Tom's suit, 4 days 16 hours 27 minutes (1 point)^note The suit was taken to a dry cleaner, and Jimmy noted that the scent of the yeast spread was still very present

• Live Task: Team Task - In Your Teams, Recreate Famous Scenes From History For The Taskmaster. Once The Taskmaster Has Correctly Guessed Your Famous Scene, You May Recreate Another. You May Only Speak In Four-letter Words. Most Scenes Correctly Guessed In 150 Seconds Wins.
  • Winners: Jimmy, Luke, and Nina - the Black Death, the Destruction of Pompeii, the Fall of the Berlin Wall, the Cloning of Dolly the Sheep, the 2007-08 Global Financial Crisis (5 points)
  • Danielle and Julia - Assassination of JFK, Ned Kelly's final shootout, the Y2K scare (3 points)

Episode 5 - "Are You Okay?"

• Prize Task: The Most Pretentious Thing
  • Winner: Jimmy - his collection of vinyl records despite not owning a player (5 points)
  • Nina - a toilet door from one of the first gay nightclubs in Kings Cross, used by a friend of hers as part of one of his art installations (4 points)
  • Danielle - a prayer candle with her likeness printed on it (3 points)
  • Julia - her High School Certificate, which documents her marks of 198 out of 500, framed (2 points)
  • Luke - a cheap Ghostbusters backpack, meant to represent a replica proton pack he once paid $4,000 for (1 point)

• Task 1: Protect The Popcorn With An Impenetrable Fort. In 10 Minutes, Tom Will Try To Eat The Popcorn. You May Not Move The Popcorn. You May Not Personally Attack Tom. The Longest Uneaten Popcorn Wins.
  • Winners: Julia and Luke - both tampered with the popcorn using a variety of disgusting ingredients such as raw egg, water, and saliva, warning Tom not to eat the popcorn. Tom ultimately ate neither contestant's popcorn (5 points)
  • Jimmy - 13 seconds, built a fort around the popcorn that was easily bypassed by Tom (2 points)
  • Nina and Danielle (Disqualified):
    • Nina - moved the popcorn by transferring it into separate jars around the room. It still took Tom only 14 seconds to eat some popcorn after finding a piece Nina had failed to put away
    • Danielle - moved the bucket of popcorn immediately, before realising her mistake and returning the popcorn. She then attacked Tom with a net to prevent him from getting the popcorn. Tom took 2 minutes and 38 seconds to eat the popcorn.

• Task 2: Pick Up All 26 Flowers And Deliver Them To Tom's Vase. You May Only Advance To Collect The Next Flower When You Correctly Guess That Flower's Password^note as evidenced by the number 26, any word was a correct password as long as it did not start with the same letter as a previous password; in other words, any set of words begining with all 26 letters of the alphabet would be valid passwords. You Must Deliver All 26 Flowers To Tom's Vase, Or You Will Be Disqualified. Fewest Total Attempts To Guess A Password Wins.
  • Winner: Nina - 159 guesses (5 points)
  • Jimmy - 323 guesses (4 points)
  • Julia - 342 guesses (3 points)^note Guessed the word "cunt" 4 separate times, and made a total of 87 guesses after deciding that going through the alphabet would be too boring
  • Danielle - 503 guesses (2 points)^note Danielle's attempt took just shy of two hours and failed to understand the task's theme until the very end, even with Lesser Tom hinting at it
  • Luke (Disqualified)^note Inadvertently dropped two roses and failed to notice, thus delivering only 24 out of 26. Made 289 guesses, 17 of which were related to The Matrix

• Task 3: Team Task - Get The Giraffe In The Bath. If You Touch Grass, Or The Giraffe Touches Grass, Or You Touch The Giraffe, You Must Start Again. Fastest Wins.
  • Winners: Danielle and Julia - 8 minutes 1 second (5 points)
  • Jimmy, Luke, and Nina - 22 minutes 42 seconds (2 points)

• Live Task: Team Task - As A Team, Use Your Own Shadows To Spell 'Taskmaster'. You Must Spell One Letter At A Time. A Letter Will Be Captured Every 10 Seconds. Every Team Member Must Contribute To Every Letter. The Best Team 'Taskmaster' Wins. The Picture Of Your First Letter Will Be Taken Exactly 10 Seconds After Tom Cashman Blows His Whistle.
  • Winners: Danielle and Julia (2 points)^note The Taskmaster was very unimpressed with both teams' results

  • Jimmy - the idea of a basketball contest between himself and Tom Cashman, on the premise that Tom would "miss" most shots, only for Tom to reveal that he has played basketball weekly for about 15 years (3 points)
  • Nina - a plastic container that her housemate used to hold his cotton buds (2 points)
  • Luke - some red hair, to represent Main Tom missing his hair (1 point)^note Everybody noted how suspiciously the hair looked like pubic hair

• Task 1: Team Task - Reinvent The Wheel. Fit The Car's Axle With Something That Is Not A Wheel, Then Drive It To The Finish Line. Fastest To Drive Across The Finish Line Wins.

• Task 2: Age Or De-age Yourself. You Must Reveal Your Aged Or De-aged Self In 20 Minutes. The Biggest Difference From Your Real Age Wins.

• Task 3: Save The Snag^note Australian slang for "sausage" From The Barbie^note Australian slang for "barbecue", though in this case the snag was actually being held over a flame by a Barbie Doll. All the barbecues around the retreat contained other items, such as a loaf of bread, pumpkin, chicken nuggets, and corn. Least Burnt Snag Wins.

  • Julia - a white chocolate Taskmaster envelope, which Main Tom noted was essentially just bringing a dessert to a barbeque (1 point)

• Task 1: Team Task - Make A Dream Come True. Best Dream Wins. You Have 30 Minutes.
  • Winners: Jimmy, Luke, and Nina - let Lesser Tom live out his dream of being a contestant, making his parents proud, and awarding him 6 points (5 points)
  • Danielle and Julia - recreated a dream Lesser Tom had in childhood where he could spy on people with a remote controlled fly (4 points -1 point)^note Deducted a point for failing to do the dance from episode 3 at the end of their task

• Task 2: Do The Most Incredible Once-in-a-lifetime Thing. You Must Never Have Done It Before, And You Must Never Do It Again. You Have 30 Minutes.
  • Winner: Julia - performed donuts in a ute, very slowly (5 points)
  • Danielle - made a pool in the back of a ute for her and Lesser Tom (4 points)
  • Luke - decided to jump in the lake but backed out after thinking about all the diseases he could catch from it, so instead decided to kiss Lesser Tom before the two of them painted portraits of one another (3 points)
  • Nina - built a Rube Goldberg machine that failed to work on its own (2 points)
  • Jimmy - attempted to move the caravan with his own strength, which he tried to do four times (Disqualified)

• Task 3: Open The Golden Present. You May Only Open One Present At A Time. Before Opening Each Present, You Must Sing A Different, Royalty-free Christmas Carol. You May Not Leave The Lab Until The Golden Present Is Opened. Fastest To Open The Golden Present Wins. ^note There were 5 presents on the bench. Present 1 contained a jigsaw puzzle, which told the contestants to look under the table, where there was a magnet (which could be used to help find the needle in present 4). Present 2 contained a bowl of soup, within which were the letters (S, A, N, T, A) needed for the combination lock on present 4. Present 3 contained red jelly, within which a smartphone and SIM card were hidden, inside a bag. To insert the SIM card, the contestants needed the needle from present 4. When they turned the phone on, they saw an instruction on the screen to call a specific number, which resulted in them hearing an answering machine message from 'Santa's Workshop'. The message instructed them to tell Tom three ways in which they have been good this year, in order to receive the golden present. Present 4, which is locked with a combination lock contained hay, within which a needle was hidden. Present 5 contained sand, within which there was a small sieve for extracting the letters from the soup in present 2. The golden present was hidden under the elf's hat Lesser Tom was wearing
