  • The Gambling Addict:
    • Satou's father is addicted to gambling. It was so bad that he had to sign a contract to never gamble again in front of both Satou's mother's family and his own family. He broke his promise and kept gambling and accumulated a debt of $50,000.
    • Rishito's parents were revealed to be not only gambling addicts when they tried to reclaim their baby granddaughter, Yura, after forcing him to take care of her. Moreover, it turns out the couple set up their café away in Honolulu to escape from the debt collectors back home and feed their addiction there, unbothered.
  • Gender-Blender Name:
  • Gone Horribly Right: A interesting example of this with Masashi, who ends up having an affair with Satomi because of how young and cute she was, how Charako wasn’t giving him enough attention (she was looking after her mother) and how Satomi was willing to do all the role-playing he wanted to do with Charako (who hated it). However, Satomi turned out to be a Yandere who had more than happily jumped at the chance when Masashi gave her one, and Charako and his daughters ultimately decided to let her have him once they caught them. Shortly after, Masashi ends up fat, balding, and homeless as he had to run away to escape from Satomi after she kept threatening murder-suicide if he didn’t marry her.
  • Green-Eyed Monster:
    • Mari Yoshida bullied the temp workers around her and dumped all her workload into them, but she had a bone to pick with Charako for being close to Mr. Tanaka.
    • Abigail Ezra was jealous of Riley Hall when she announced her marriage to her fiancé Keegan, despite herself being engaged to a rich man herself. At the proper wedding, she chews Riley out for her "extravagant" wedding.
    • "Colleague forced me out of the office, so I got her back hard": Miki Takahashi was jealous of her coworker Yui Hanazawa because the latter landed first place in sales while she was in second place. To this effect, she tried to coerce Yui into handing over her jobs and threatening to spread rumors about her sleeping her way to the top.
    • "She thinks she stole my fiancé but the person she slept with was...": Masato Jinguji resented his cousin, Yuto, for taking his place as the future CEO of Jinguji Group and even stalked the latter's fiancée, Kanako, with the intent of stealing her. However, Masato drops the plan upon meeting Moemi and tricks her into sleeping with him by claiming to be Kanako's fiancé.
  • Groin Attack: Shizuka kicked her stepfather in the groin when he tried to have his way with her.
  • The Grovel: Near the end of"My rival at work stole my wife when I was 40 years old…" Kazumi called Tsuyoshi after her new husband, Takumi, went out in a business trip and tried to entice her ex-husband into coming over to revive "old passions." However, Tsuyoshi has none of it and reveals he's now engaged to the office's madonna, Misaki Abe, before hanging up on Kazumi. Later on, Tsuyoshi finds out that Takumi worked as hard as he could to one-up him after finding out about the engagement, but in his zeal to get Ms. Abe's heart, he messed up an important document, which not only cost Takumi a promotion but also got him transferred to a countryside branch.

  • Handbag of Hurt:
    • "My wife got pregnant but…": While a now-thin Yuki was strolling through the park with his new girlfriend, Saki, he stumbles upon his ex-wife Rina, who tries to get back with him. After he turns her down, she screams and swings her handbag around to hurt them, only for a police officer to stop and arrest her. Moreover, she ended up in prison for public property damage after she knocked over a bin and it crashed into a bench.
    • "My wife cheated on me with her doctor…": When Kengo dialed the police in response to Mana's refusal to leave after divorcing him for Dr. Nakajima, she tried to hit him with her handbag. Much to Mana's dismay, she fumbles and the flying bag breaks a window instead, which gives Kengo another reason to call the cops on her. After his daughters, Nami, Reina, and Misaki, disown her as a mother, a cop appears and arrests her for breaking into and damaging private property.
  • Happily Adopted: Saori was adopted by the Nogawa couple who loved her and treated her like a real daughter. However, their love for her vanished when their biological son Takuya was born.
  • Hates Their Parent:
  • Hates Wearing Dresses: Tsubasa had to dress like a regular girl at her sister Risa's wedding as part of hers and her girlfriend Emi's plan.
  • Heat Wave: In this story, a heatwave struck and everyone at Masayoshi's workplace had to wear light clothing when the air conditioner broke. However, he notices his coworker Hanayo Sachiusu was the only employee who wore long-sleeved clothes even at the BBQ party thrown at his workplace. When Masayoshi came to return the bag she left behind at the party, he finds her with a man who dragged her back home and verbally abused her.
  • Henpecked Husband:
    • Mr. Takahashi from "Daughter kicked me out, but she somehow became homeless after that" was abused by his wife Keiko and his daughter Rumi for smelling bad. When Keiko decides to divorce him, Mr. Takahashi reveals to Ruri that she was the daughter of another man.
    • "My mom hates me and always prioritizes my brother over me": Sakura's father is a sympathetic example; he is a meek man who doesn't fight back whenever his wife Makiko abused him for defending his daughter Sakura from her abuse.
    • "My beloved wife was cheating on me and finds it amusing that I broke my leg": Tatsuya Nakamura had to work hard to provide for the home ever since he married Kaori Hayama, who always used his money for gallivanting and always slacked off at home despite promising she would take care of the house.
    • "My mother left us for this rich CEO": Ren's father was financially and emotionally abused by his wife. Ren himself had a problem with his timidity about it.
    • "My wife and my daughter told me I was a lousy father...": Yoshio Ohito's wife acted deadbeat towards him when not complaining. While he served as a mentor to a group of young female workers, his wife cooked only rice to spite him for showing up late at night because of his new job. However, his pupils make him realize that he was being a deadbeat dad and they all plan a makeover on him as a reward for not giving up on teaching them.
    • "My family treated me like dirt for ten whole years…": Satoru Meguro became this five years after marrying Yuri Saitou and taking in her daughter Marina. Five more years later, the mother-and-daughter duo still treated him coldly until Marina announced her marriage and both wanted Satoru out of the house to make space for Marina's husband. Needless to say, Satoru obliges but shows evidence that Yuri cheated on him with her ex-husband.
    • "My wife got pregnant but…": Yuki Shirai becomes this after marrying an older woman named Rina, who abuses him for being a fat introvert like in high school. Moreover, she only married him because her parents promised to pay her debts if she did.
  • Heir Club for Men:
    • Hanayo's dad wanted his wife to bear him a son to inherit his company, but she was infertile and eventually decided to seek a mistress to have a son with when Hanayo turned 10. After so much rejection, he went as far as to conspire with his younger brother to adopt the latter's son as his heir. Without the mother's consent, that is.
    • A CEO not only cheated on his wife with Ren's abusive mother but let her kick his wife out of the house after moving in, just because the latter woman was infertile and therefore couldn't bear him any sons.
  • Hikikomori: Taro's younger brother, Ryuji, was a brilliant student-turned-shut-in who mooched off his parents for thirty years after he quit his company after being held accountable for a mistake he did in his first month and refused to admit to his error.
  • Horrible Judge of Character: Junya Takagi got engaged with Akemi, who had a horrible reputation for being a treacherous bully back in high school. He thought Akemi was a good, humble woman until Charako exposed the former's true colors to him, causing Junya to call off the wedding.
  • Hostess Club: Atsumu's mother worked at a hostess bar to provide for him.
  • House Fire: "My house burnt down and my mother-in-law tried to blame it on me" - A pregnant Hanae wakes up to a fire when she tried to get some water, but everyone left the house safely, although her daughter Yukie was unconscious due to the smoke. When her mother-in-law blamed Hanae for the fire to get her arrested, Yukie woke up and called the MIL out for smoking inside the house.
  • House Husband: Ryohei took care of the house chores after falling ill in his former job while his wife Ichiko was away working. However, he starts taking advantage of his role to cheat on her.

  • I Have No Son!:

  • Identical Twin Mistake:
    • "Sister says she is pregnant with my boyfriend's child": Moeno steals her sister Meghan/Megumi's boyfriend Asuka and calls her to gloat about it. Megumi was devastated at first, only to realize the man had a mole on his left cheek, while Asuka has it on his right. Therefore, she realized Moeno snatched Asuka's twin brother.
    • "My sister slept with someone's husband and almost got murdered": A woman broke into Honami's house shouting at her with murderous intentions as she mistook her for her twin sister, Minami, who stole her husband, named Hiroki, from her. When Honami comes over to clarify things, the woman, named Youko Sato, apologizes for the mistake and teams up with her to catch Minami in the act.
  • If I Can't Have You…: Eiji tried to run Eri over in response to her dumping him. Thankfully, Eri survives and files a lawsuit only for it to get ignored as Eiji's father was a powerful man. But when his journalist older sister Shizuka exposes their father's corruption, he attempts to choke Eri to death for it only to get arrested this time.
  • In Vino Veritas: A drunken Yuko starts bluting out Naoto's name while with her husband Tamanosuke after drinking at a fancy restaurant. Tamanosuke goes along with it and asks her about why she cheated, with Yuko telling him she couldn't see him as a man anymore and didn't even like being touched by him.
  • Inheritance Backlash: Tatsuya got sick from cancer and died. He intended to leave his inheritance to his younger sister Toko. However their greedy relatives tried to fake her death so they'll get the inheritance. However Tatsuya's friend Yoichiro, showed a video at the funeral, showing that the inheritances will always go to Toko and he told Toko to cut ties with her relatives.
  • Insidious Rumor Mill: In "Colleague forced me out of the office, so I got her back hard," Miki spread rumors about her coworker Yui sleeping her way to the top when she refused to hand over her jobs in. When that failed, she sent Mr. Sasaki a photo of Yui hanging out with Mr. Narata, which succeeded and finally got Yui fired. However, this earned them the wrath of Mr. Narata, who is revealed to be her boyfriend.
  • Instant Humiliation: Just Add YouTube!: Mikio not only forced the stammering Ena to embarrass herself for his amusement but also uploaded it to the Internet. Later on, Ena's childhood friend Takaya stood up for her by threatening the principal with this if he didn't do anything about Mikio's bullying.
  • Insult Friendly Fire: In "My colleague took my materials and presented it to our boss saying he made it," Kosuke Yoshida stole Madoka's paperwork and presented it to their boss, Homura Abe, in an attempt to show him up. However, when he insulted the "nerdy, weird" drawings in Madoka's paperwork and saying he drew them in an attempt to discredit him, Homura reveals she was the one who drew said images; she was not only geekier than Madoka, but was a famous illustrator.
  • Insult to Rocks: In this story, when Nano chews out Rena for returning years later to chop Hana's hair off, this exchange occurs:
    Nano: Don't you dare compare your pathetic self with my daughter like that!
    Rena: Are you trying to tell me that I'm beneath that girl?
    Nano: It's not even a comparison, I wouldn't dare disrespect my daughter by comparing her to you!
  • Ironic Echo: In "My parents didn't show any love towards me but once I got successful..." a teenage Karen was given a dollar and ten cents by both her mom and her spoiled brother Hiroki for her date with a guy. Years later when she married Masato and he acquired her former father's company, he gave the man the same amount of money as severance pay to avenge Karen.
  • Irony: In "Got revenge on my husband who broke up with me because I was infertile," when Miki suggested Yoshiyuki adopt a kid after she was found infertile, he shot down the suggestion because he didn't want to raise a kid that wasn't his. Later on, when he had a son with his mistress after kicking Miki out of the house, she reveals Yoshiyuki was the infertile one, which effectively means he did end up raising a son that wasn't his for two years. As a result, his life spiraled down until he tried to murder his wife only to get arrested.
  • Is This Thing Still On?: Masayoshi was fed up with Yahata's irresponsibility at the online meetings, so he requested the Professor's help to see what was going on with her. When the Professor turned Yahata's webcam on during their next meeting, they all find out she was having an affair in pandemic times. As a result, Masayoshi reports her to the higher-ups.
  • I Want Grandkids: Miyabi Fujisawa was verbally and physically abused by her husband, Jinta, and his family for not getting pregnant. When her test results from different hospitals confirming she was fertile, they refused to acknowledge that the problem was with Jinta.
  • I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Subverted epically with Charako: While she does leave Masahi so he can be together with Satomi, it’s clear that she’s doing it as she knows Satomi is insane and out of disgust towards him, making her ‘letting them be together’ be one massive ‘screw you’ to Masashi.
  • I Want My Mommy!: In "My girlfriend cheated on me so I took the best revenge possible at our wedding…": At Kakeru and Aika's wedding, Hiroshi cries out for his mommy after Mr. Machio saved him from a spear trap set up by the Professor right before he got impaled. Afterward, he was taken away by Mr. Machio, allegedly to his gym.

  • Jerkass Has a Point: During an argument with Sari, abusive husband Yuto brings up some valid points about Sari’s selfishness, as Sari had only approached him to try to make her husband, Kei, jealous and to get pregnant, as Kei was infertile, and she had fully intended on passing off his child as Kei’s.

  • Karmic STD: The titular Norika from "My wife contracted a disease from cheating partner..." is found out to have contracted a very serious STD after her affair with Mr. Minagawa was exposed. Moreover, she became pissed off and blew up at Mr. Minagawa for passing the disease to her before the man himself was hospitalized due to his critical condition and eventually died of it.
  • Kawaiiko: Ayane Azato acts cutesy around her boss and manipulates her male coworkers, but is actually a tyrannical bully when their boss or said men aren't around.

  • Last Disrespects: When Hajime calls his sister Yui out for stealing money from their mother's funeral, she runs off to kick the deceased woman's casket while her son Seiya steals the money.
  • Lethal Chef:
    • "My husband told me my cooking was disgusting…": featured a zigzagged example. Sorao often accused Nano of being this and always happily praised his mother’s, Iyo’s, cooking. However, it soon becomes clear that Iyo doesn’t properly prepare the food (not cleaning fish and leaving vegetables undercooked) and overseasons her cooking, which Sorao grew used to. Everyone else immediately hates her food and vastly prefers Nano’s, complimenting her on cooking and seasoning everything perfectly, making her a Supreme Chef instead.
    • "My mother-in-law broke my computer because she thought I was being lazy…": When Nano returned to the house to confront her abusive, mother-in-law Iyo for slandering her to other moms when picking up Sakura from school on top of mooching off of her and Masayoshi, she opened the door to a lot of smoke that came out of the kitchen; she tried to shallow-fry chicken and left it unattended. Turns out it wasn't the first time these kinds of accidents happened, as she did the same while boiling vegetables.
  • Lethal Negligence: Mitsuya left his wife, Masumi, and son, Tomoya, to be with Keiko, his friend's wife. Two years later, after Mitsuya and Keiko have a baby, they leave it in a tote bag in front of Masumi's house. To make matters worse, when Masumi takes the baby to a doctor, she discovers that it was extremely malnourished because Mitsuya and Keiko were unemployed bums who not only tried to get Masumi to take care of their child, but also expected her to pay off the debt Mitsuya racked up. Fortunately, they receive a Humiliation Conga in the form of being imprisoned for child neglect, being forced to work off their debt, and being beaten by Masumi's father (an ex-boxer), while the baby is Happily Adopted.
  • Locked in a Room: Mikoto locked her cheating husband Tatsuki and his lover Maira by barricading the door with a couch while they were getting it on and then recorded the conversation to get evidence.
