Funny moments in The Raven & the Owlet.

As a moments subpage, all spoilers from the show will be unmarked. You Have Been Warned!

Main Fic

  • Luz and Amity's mutual crush on each other, and them failing to realize it, is even more painfully obvious than in the show. Lilith realizes it in the very first chapter, and eventually starts delighting in flustering the children.
    • Boscha being a love interest for both Luz and Amity also adds a number of humorous interactions.
  • One of the signs of Luz' Adaptational Angst Upgrade is that she is more prone to swearing, which she herself notices and remarks upon. It says something about Luz' All-Loving Hero that her equivalent of a corruption arc only results in her using swearwords.
  • The repeated instances of Luz getting frustrated because Lilith is being too darn reasonable and caring for her to be mad at her. Likewise, her calling her friends "Traitors" everytime they side with Lilith on something.

Chapter 1

  • While the first chapter is mostly sad, there is one part where Lilith asks if Belos wants her to capture the human girl. Belos responds that Lilith has proven herself incapable of such a task, and Lilith has to keep down her anger at the insinuation that she's too weak to capture a child.
  • After being given her mission to replace Eda as Luz' mentor, Lilith objects that Luz hates her. The Emperor's response is hilariously deadpan.
Belos: Yes, quite the dilemma. You better figure something out.

Chapter 2

  • Sweet as it is, Amity has to levitate Luz into her sleeping bag to make sure she gets some rest.

Chapter 3

  • After they have a lengthy conversation (including a lot of berating and insulting) with Lilith, Eda leaves her sister's mindscape (currently appearing as her waking world home) by punching through a wall, despite Lilith holding the door open for her. Lilith, while frustrated, is not surprised.
  • When Lilith has to get past Hooty, ghost-Eda advices her to tell him she'll listen to one of his stories. Hooty's excitement immediately makes Lilith realize she made a mistake.
    Lilith: You are evil, Edalyn.
Eda: Ha! Yeah, I kinda am.

Chapter 4

  • Luz briefly considers showering until the warm water is used up to spite Lilith. Unfortunately, the warm water is magical and therefore won't run out.
  • While Lilith is instructing her on how to draw the protection wards, Luz remarks that she sounds like a snob, but she always sounds like that so it's probably not meant to be offensive.

Chapter 5

  • Eda remarks that, with how quickly Luz gets ready every morning, she might have gotten the quitter's badge from not showering. Lilith is horrified and concerned.
  • While setting up Eda's stall, Luz brags that they provide a unique service and are really good at running from cops. An exasperated Lilith asks what Eda was teaching her.
    • Lilith picks up and examines a Rubik's Cube, which Eda calls a Rube Cube and claims it's called that because rubes pay a fortune for them and it occupies them for hours. Lilith doubts Eda's claims, but figures she'll look at it more closely when she has time.
Eda: See? Just the kind of thinking that makes this thing a bestseller, ya rube.

Chapter 7

  • When Luz gets frustrated by her lack of progress with magic, Lilith remembers how she used to deal with that very same frustration. Specifically by making cracks in her desk through smashing her head, then practicing Construction magic by mending the cracks.
  • Unlike Eda's wild and careless approach, Lilith prefers to take her time when playing Hexas Hold-em. Eda complains about the time it takes and tries to pressure her to just use the wildcard. Hilariously, Owlbert sides with Lilith in the debate while Morrigan sides with Eda.
Truly, destroying the bird and asserting her dominance would take all of her skill.
    • Lilith invites Luz to play a game, but Luz says she doesn't like old people games, before quickly clarifying that she doesn't mean that old people have bad taste in games, or that Hexas Hold-em is bad. Lilith meanwhile is more offended at the "old people" comment.
  • Lilith "borrows" one of Eda's "Bad Girl Coven" to sleep in, but not before changing the drawing of Eda to a drawing of herself, and changes the text to "Good Girl Coven".
Eda: Okay, that one pisses me off.

Chapter 8

  • Lilith remarks that if the Hexside cafeteria still serves the same "food", then she doesn't want to imagine the deathtoll. Luz assumes she's joking. She's not.
  • Luz gets a look at Lilith's wanted poster, and immediately bursts out laughing, even more so once she sees Lilith's furious reaction to it. The poster calls her the Raven Maiden, is clearly just Eda's poster recolored, and has a bounty about one tenth of Eda's.
  • When Boscha approaches Luz to tell her that she won't bully her while she's grieving, Luz questions if Boscha actually has a soul. This becomes even funnier in hindsight after chapter 24 was released and Boscha was established as a Love Interest for Luz.
  • Skara tries to talk to Luz in one of their classes, but has forgotten her name. After clarifying it, Luz remarks that Skara is one of the teens who helped Boscha try to kill her.
    • Skara offers to share some of her music with Luz, Luz responds that that sounds great.
Skara: I heard you were bad, but that was just awful.
  • Bump offers his condolences for Eda's death, adding that they may not have gotten along, and the day she left Hexside was a contender for the best day of his life. Luz really wishes he hadn't mentioned that last part.

Chapter 9

  • To stop Lilith and King's fighting, Hooty eats them and deposits them in the cellar (which Lilith didn't know about) so they can bond. They reach an agreement about pretending to be nice so Hooty will let them out.
  • When Hooty says "You live inside me", the narration takes a moment to mention that that wording was gross.

Chapter 10

  • Before they start walking into the dark woods, Luz asks what could go wrong? The narration immediately declares that she's doomed them all. It then cuts to an actually rather pleasant stroll through the woods.
  • When the apple Luz brought along refuses to pass through the Arboretum barrier, she starts wondering if Lilith poisoned it, how she could've known which apple she would bring, and if she maybe poisoned them all. Willow tells her to shut up please.
    "Your apple is fine. Probably."

Chapter 11

  • Lilith insists that she's not worried about Luz, only for Eda to point out that she's nervously tapping her finger against the cover of her book.
  • When Bump asks, Lilith immediately asks what Luz did. Eda points out that it could be a courtesy call, but doesn't really believe it either.
  • The "witness" regarding Luz's disappearance is the illusory Willow, who surrendered willingly (illusory Luz accidentally poofed herself and illusory Gus refused to be taken alive). Once she's given her testimony, Bump poofs her with no ceremony.
  • While having dinner with the family, Lilith shares a story about Eda trying to impress Raine when they were kids. Eda is horrified but can do nothing to stop it.
  • After a very soft and heartwarming scene, Lilith adds as an aside that Luz is grounded.
  • Eda is still bothered by the Good Girl Coven shirt, which is why it's Lilith's new favorite.

Chapter 12

  • After Terra gets coiled up by the "abomi-snake-ophone" Amity conjured up to spy on her, Luz declares "the shoe's on the other foot" in regards to being forcibly binded. Amity, of course, takes the phrase literally and glances down at her own feet (while she's still far off the ground trapped by Terra's plants), and Luz giggles at her cute confused look before clarifying the saying.
  • At the end of the confrontation with Terra, Lilith orders the nearby guards to leave them alone. Terra points out that Lilith is wanted, and she responds with "Fair point, here's my counter;" before causing a massive explosion and escaping in the confusion.
  • While looking at a picture of Lilith's gang in Hexside, Luz laughs at how oblivious Eda and Raine were about their mutual crushes. Lilith stares at her while agreeing that some people can be truly oblivious, clearly thinking about Luz's crush on Amity. Luz doesn't pick up on it.

Chapter 13

  • Odalia visiting Lilith's market stand is hilarious from start to end.
    • She scoffs at the name of the stand. Lilith immediately snarks that Clawthorne Collectibles is at least alliterative, unlike Blight Industries.
    • Alador takes an interest in some of the trinkets Lilith is selling. She proceeds to play him and Odalia like a fiddle, demanding a massive sum for them, telling Alador to beg and wimper for his wife to buy them, and even makes a scene to force Odalia's hand. Lilith is insufferably smug throughout it all while Odalia is close to exploding.
    • In a Brick Joke from chapter 5, Lilith throws in a Rubik's cube for free.
  • After scamming Odalia for 20,000 snails, Lilith rewards herself by closing early and sitting down to do some more research. Eda loudly calls her a nerd.
  • After reaching a dead end in her research, Lilith wonders if discovering new glyphs requires danger, and toys with the idea of throwing Luz off a cliff with a rock so she can find an earth glyph.
  • At Hooty's suggestion and Eda's urging, Lilith flies through Bonesborrough vandalizing Golden Guard posters with mustaches.. Despite insisting that it's beneath her, she has a lot of fun.

Chapter 14

  • Having realizes her feelings for Amity, Luz is incapable of thinking of anything else, going through a Hurricane of Euphemisms and getting backtracked back to Amity even while thinking about other things.
She was smitten. An arrow of love had pierced her heart. She’d taken a blow to the head from the sledgehammer of affection. She drank the sweet nectar of Amity-focused desire.
    • Later, she resolves to be "smooth as silk" with Amity like before. She proceeds to almost stumble, stutter while saying she looks good, and shoot fingerguns.
  • Luz sarcastically calls Lilith "mom" before realizing what she did. They both freeze up before quickly changing the subject.
  • When Lilith asks Luz to bring Amity with her home (for lessons), Luz has a very strong reaction. Lilith makes it worse by telling her that she's welcome to sit in on discussing "dates" with Amity.
  • Luz tells Amity that Lilith "took care of" Odalia in a way that was certainly not horrifically violent.
  • Lilith delights in making a lot of jokes about Luz and Amity's relationship, particularily along the line of discussing dates and Amity having to heal Luz.
Lilith was evil. Evil, evil, evil. Evil witch!
    • Afterward, Lilith apologizes, and Luz says it's okay with some rather hillarious reasoning.
Luz: You've just gone full parent on me and it's driven you mad. You've finally snapped and you're trying to drive me crazy along with you.
  • Because Lilith slept in, she and Luz pick up breakfast "not-dogs" on the way to school. Lilith initially says it's only the one time, but Luz's Puppy-Dog Eyes break her and she agrees to once every other week.
  • Lilith brought some childrens' books to teach Luz coven history. Luz is annoyed, but mildly curious about the one that's labeled "Absolutely not for those over five years old."

Chapter 15

  • When Lilith introduces Luz to Dell, he cheerfully says he hopes she didn't wait this long to tell him he's a grandfather. Both Lilith and Luz are embarrassed and start sputtering at the accusation.
Lilith: No, of course not. I'm just looking after her for a while.
Luz: [sarcastic] Yeah. And she's doing a really good job!
  • Luz says she kept the portal key secret because you can't open a locked door without a key. Lilith absentmindedly remarks "crowbar".
  • On top of everything, Luz says they need to check in with Camila in a couple weeks. An annoyed Lilith threatens that she can still toss her ass through the portal. Luz laughs, and points out that it's pretty messed up that they're already joking about it.

Chapter 16

  • When Luz comes downstairs, she finds Lilith tied to a recliner as Hooty coils his neck around her while King holds her at harpoon-point. While apologizing to Luz, Hooty accidentally chokes Lilith before releasing her.
  • As Luz badgers Lilith about the "few secrets" she has left, Lilith turns it around by saying if Luz wants full honesty, she has to explain why she finds Amity alluring in "explicit detail".
Luz: (flushed and spluttering) That, that’s not fair and you know it. You’re being a smartass and that’s not funny right now.
Lilith: (smiling) For you maybe. I’m honestly trying to keep myself from freaking out as my remaining time is slowly ticking by. (Her eye twitches as proof of this.)
    • Later, Lilith stresses the word "date" while talking to Luz and Amity.
''Luz was going to kill her. She'd save Lilith from the Emperor so she could do it herself.
  • Before going to shower, Luz tells King she's not against him pelting Lilith with his plushes and warns her not to damage them. The moment she's upstairs, Lilith screams as King invokes bombardment.
  • Amity arrives at the Owl House while everyone's having a war council because Lilith forgot to cancel their healing session. When she slowly panic from seeing the suggestions board, King casually says they need to kill her now and tells Hooty to eat her.
Luz: He’s just kidding. We’re all just kidding. Yep. (looks at Amity with wide, pleading eyes) Please believe that.
    • Amity's following Freak Out is just as humorous:
Amity: (calm) So... (manic) What the hell are you all doing?! (gets to her feet, goes over to the whiteboard, and gestures wildly at it) This is treason. This is literally actual treason. That title is treason. Everything here is treason!
    • When she asks why Lilith hasn't tried stopping this, Lilith says she's outnumbered three to one, only for Owlbert and Morrigan to make it five to one, to Lilith's displeasure.
  • Luz accidentally calls Amity her "bonita bruja" (pretty witch) and refuses to tell her what it means for now because of how embarrassing it'd be to reveal that in front of her surrogate family. Lilith takes the chance to tease Luz, and she swears she'll kill Lilith herself after saving her from Belos.
  • When Amity learns Lilith tried to steal the portal, she bitch slaps her so hard, it leaves a mark on her cheek. Luz can't help smiling despite knowing she shouldn't have enjoyed that.
  • The war council scene mostly revolves around everyone trying to come up with ideas for kicking Belos's ass and everytime Lilith says they're not doing that, everyone else shouts "We know!" Amity joins in the second time and the third time, Lilith doesn't even say anything.

Chapter 18

  • Willow begins teasing Luz about her crush on Amity, and it really gets to her. Willow is barely able to keep from telling Luz it's mutual, and when Luz considers taking up her suggestion of working out, she gives us this:
Luz: I might have to start doing that. (half-heartedly flexes her arm) I’ve gotten stronger, but I still have noodle arms.
Willow: I think you’re fine. (smiles mischievously) You can carry Amity pretty well from what I’ve seen.
Luz: Hate you. You and Lilith. Hate you both, so much.
  • Seeing a pillar of fire and learning from Hooty that Lilith's training, Willow and Gus decide to head home and leave Luz to deal with her (Gus mentioning she scares them), Luz jokingly calling them traitors.
  • As Lilith teases Luz about Amity, King walks into the kitchen nonchalantly mentioning he and Hooty are betting on when Luz admits her feelings, and Liith immediately joins in. She then tells Luz she's planning a trip to the Knee in a week, she can invite Amity and assures her that she, King & Hooty "will not get lost on the way" as a joke. King tells her it's just to make her laugh, but Luz swears revenge on the both of them.

Chapter 19

  • Lilith and her mother have a confrontation at Eda's grave, Lilith venting all of her grievances and Gwendolyn apologizing and promising to do better, ending in a tearful hug. The moment is ruined when Lilith realizes that Luz (who's also crying) is filming it and says she's grounded, and revokes her phone privilieges for the weekend. Gwendolyn remarks that she's glad her granddaughter is in good hands, causing Lilith's eye to twitch.
  • Lilith goes to the library to research and is relieved over being surrounded by pillars of knowledge. Eda repeatedly calls her a nerd for it, and Lilith makes a mental note to find a way to slap her.

Chapter 20

  • The entire introduction of Lilith as Luz's new history teacher. Compared to the drama of the last few chapters, it's hillarious how Luz treats having her embarassing parent around school as the end of the world.
    • Starting before Lilith enters the scene, Luz cheers in joy when Bump announces that they have finally found a permanent teacher. She sheepishly apologizes and laments that she will probably never live it down, especially when Bump takes an aside to praise her enthusiasm.
    • When Bump starts talking about the teacher, Luz's enthusiasm turns to dread as she realizes who Bump is describing and desperately hopes that she's wrong. When Lilith enters, the narration just goes FUUUUUUUU-
    • Luz is so horrified at having Lilith as her teacher that she's tempted to call the guards on her.
    • Boscha manages to make it worse by asking about Lilith giving preferential treatment to her daughter. Lilith assures everyone that she has no desire to taint Luz's education like that, while Luz is all but begging for her to shut up.
    • Throughout all of this, Luz's expression is frozen in a look of horror, and she only changes it when it starts aching.
    • Later, while passing by Luz and Viney, Lilith calls Luz "Sweetie." A horrified Luz calls out that she never calls her that!
    • The whole scene has some fanart by sananaryon.
  • When Luz gets pinned to a locker by Boscha, it licks her. She both think it's cool and is grossed out.
  • Viney has a very dark sense of humor, indicating that she wants to harvest Luz's organs but relenting since she doesn't really need human organs at the moment. Luz laughs along but is a little worried that she's serious.
  • After hearing that Odalia is in love with Lilith, Willow jokes that it might mean Luz and Amity will be stepsisters one day. Both are horrified at the idea, only for Luz to backtrack that being Amity's sister isn't a bad thing, it would just be... awkward.
  • Having learned that her friends are in on the Side Bet about when she will confess to Amity, Luz swears righteous revenge and that she will make Hooty extra dirty for the losers. Gus realizes that he may have made a mistake in placing a bet, but is too late to back out.
    • Willow encourages Gus by reminding him that the pot is hundreds of snails. Luz briefly wonders if she could get in on it. Becomes Hilarious in Hindsight when, in chapter 27, Luz (and Amity) does get the money pot.
  • Luz, in a bright friendly tone, announces that she kinda wants to strangle Lilith for not telling her about the new job.

Chapter 22

  • Boscha and Luz spend the majority of the chapter bickering Like an Old Married Couple. It gets to the point where Hunter, in typical blunt fashion, asks if the two of them are secretly in love or something. Both girls are horrified at the suggestion and start yelling about how they would never date each other, which only helps in convincing Hunter even further that the two of them are together.
  • In response to Hunter telling them to kiss already and get it over with, Luz tells Boscha that she may punch him once. She proceeds to knee him in the stomach and knock him to the ground.
Boscha: I don't take orders from you, human.
  • When Luz gets home, Lilith doesn't even look up from her work before asking if she has any injuries in need of healing. Also counts as heartwarming.

Chapter 24

  • Luz approaches Boscha in the hallway asking "Where's the cutie?", refering to Maya. She then realizes that, to everyone else, Boscha included, it sounded like she was calling Boscha a cutie.
    • By lunchtime, there's a rumor going around Hexside that Luz and Boscha are an item. Amity is extremely relieved when Luz explains that they're not.
  • Luz asks Lilith for some advice about how to use glyphs in a grudgby match. Lilith assures her that except for the invisibility glyph, all of them should be fine as long as she doesn't make it too obvious that she's attacking her opponents. She gets just a bit too excited about the idea of "accidentally" hurting your opponents, to Luz' horror.
  • After the game, Luz tries her best to avoid looking at Amity or Boscha in the shower or changing room because she finds them both attractive and "Creepy Luz" is a horrible person.
  • Luz tries out a few nicknames for Boscha, including Bo and Bobo. The first is dismissed because there's already a student named Bo, and the second has Boscha threaten to put Luz through the wall when she uses it. While she thinks it's just Boscha being Boscha, it later turns out that her Amazingly Embarrassing Parents call her Bobo.
    • Sylvie, one of Boscha's mothers, is excited to meet Luz because Boscha has been talking a lot about her. When Luz asks if Boscha has said anything good, Sylvie diplomatically just reiterates that Boscha has been talking a lot about her.

Chapter 25

  • The day after her big game, Luz arrives at the breakfast table crawling along the floor because it hurts too much to walk. Lilith points out that crawling isn't that much better.
  • After the dinner with his grandparents, King asks if he can make cookies with Gwendolyn, claiming that he wants to learn baking since Lilith and Luz like cooking. Lilith appreciates the sentiment, but expresses some worry about the idea of giving King the ability to make sugary treats on demand.
  • When Boscha talks back to Lilith while visiting Luz, Lilith reminds her that she does decide her grades. Boscha immediately turns a bit more respectful. Lilith would of course never let something that petty decide a student's grades, but she relishes the opportunity to take a little bit of revenge on Luz' bully.
  • The gift basket from her mothers Boscha brings includes an enormous giftcard of 2000 snails, which is gamechanging for a Struggling Single Mother like Lilith, but the part that leaves her really excited is a fine feather quill and a few bottles of Arends' Special Selection ink. She gets so excited, in fact, that she squees and jumps in place in sight of her daughter before rushing upstairs to try them out.
Eda: Okay, I need a big one for this. (takes a deep breath) NERD!

Chapter 26

  • Luz decides to give Lilith's ink reviews a like out of pity. Turns out she didn't have to because they blew up in popularity.
  • Luz calls Boscha who's in the middle of stretching (in her sleepwear, which are a t-shirt and boyshorts), and notices that she has really nice legs - before deciding to end that line of thought before it goes any further. She still can't stop herself from getting distracted while talking to her.
    • Luz being Distracted by the Sexy becomes a Running Gag — until the beach scene, where she realizes that Boscha is also trying to avoid looking at her in her swimsuit and flusters her by striking a pose.
    • Luz makes the mistake of asking Lilith for advice about it on the way to school next day. Lilith remarks that she's probably the worst person to ask for advice about it. She still tries to give her advice about sexuality and arousal, which leaves Luz with a frozen look of horror and considering wether she should take her chances and jump off Morrigan.
Lilith: I could probably find books on the subject if—
      Luz: I'M FINE, THANKS!
    • Luz goes to Emira and Viney for advice about her attraction to Boscha and they make several innuendos on account of Luz somehow being "weirdly innocent" and probably as "dirty-minded as every other teenager".
  • When Viney calls Emira a coward for not partaking in the bet, Em tells Viney to bite her. Viney says she'll do that later, making Em flush and run off to eat her lunch.
  • Luz calls Boscha over to her friend group. Boscha initially refuses, but Luz threatens to continue yelling at the top of her lungs until she does.
    • She insists that they greet each other properly; Boscha calls Amity by her last name, nearly calls Willow "half-a-witch" before correcting herself to "Park" in response to everyone's glares, and pauses at Gus because she genuinely has no idea what his name is. Surprisingly, Gus admits he's okay with that.
  • Luz finally works up the courage to ask Amity out thanks to Boscha, and is interrupted at the very last second by sea serpent spawn stealing her shoes and causing her to fall over. Of course, it's not so funny when Luz breaks down because of it.

Chapter 27

  • How did Lilith get back at Darius for her mug? At Eda's suggestion, she cast illusions over his entire wardrobe so they'd look like clown clothes for a week.
  • Boscha announces how un-subtle Luz and Amity had been about their feelings by saying they kept their eyes on each other's butts more than the grudgby ball during games. Lilith, of course, embarrasses the girls further by saying she caught them doing that as well.
  • With the bet Emira not only got her girlfriend and brother in on it after Willow told her about it, but also Viney's friends, Skara, Amelia, and even Bo, Eileen and Celine, all of whom are just casual acquaintances of Luz.
  • Luz ultimately got the last laugh regarding the bet as everyone not only gave her their money and agreed to clean Hooty for the next couple of months, but after they do Hooty goes through with her revenge plot that leaves the Owl House submerged in filth. Everyone glares at Luz, to which she grabs Amity's wrist and takes off, the girls laughing evilly at their predicament. Eda also cackles at their misfortune, proud of her student.
    • Lilith and King, having never been part of the extended bet, gleefully announce that they don't have to help the kids clean Hooty, who proceeds to start telling stories.
Lilith: May the Titan have mercy on your souls.

Chapter 28

  • Boscha still hasn't learned Gus' name, but comes reasonably close with "Goops".
  • Upon seeing Lumity after Luz got her revenge for the bet, Boscha notes that Luz has done something twisted because she looks like "a kid caught with their hand in a cookie jar". Luz denies this but Amity says she does, to her girlfriend's displeasure.
  • Boscha hears about the bet and says she should have placed one, so that when she won (having been the one to encourage Luz to confess in the first place) she could have burned the money in front of the others. Luz hopefully asks if she'd do so as a show of support for Luz and Amity's relationship, but Boscha admits it'd be just to be an asshole.
  • Luz doesn't watch what she says when she overuses the term "'gasming", and Amity tells Boscha that her phrasing is credited to some "special" fanfiction on her phone that she wrote when she was 13. Luz is mortified that she didn't specify which stories she let Amity read as she thought she deleted them ages ago. Boscha asks Amity if it's a bad thing Luz is a Covert Pervert or if she feels lucky for it, embarrassing Amity as well.
  • Luz gets too engrossed in the graphic novel Boscha gave her that she reads it four times over, twice in a single day. Lilith is just happy that she found something other than Azura.
Luz: [still reading the comic] Boo to all you Azura haters.
    • Lilith explains the point of the Coven Day Parade as essentially a Propaganda Piece for the coven system. Luz doesn't even look up from her book while giving her thoughts.
      Luz: That's dumb.

Chapter 29

  • When Luz theorizes that King could be a Titan, Lilith bursts out laughing, dismissing the notion as ridiculous. Later, when she humors Luz and tests if his blood will power her time pool locator, there's something darkly humorous about her and Eda's horrified realization that Luz was correct.
Lilith and Eda: Oh. My. Titan.
    Eda: So, that's a thing, isn't it?
Lilith: It's not true. It’s not true, it’s not true. I... Titan, I cannot handle this, Edalyn. Please tell me I’m hallucinating or dreaming or that he’s just some special demon.
Eda: I don’t think I can do that, Lily.

Chapter 30

  • When King storms into Lilith's room ready to lay into her for knocking him out again, she starts to grovel due to finding out what he really is. It freaks him out enough to leave, leading to Luz calling her out for what she just did.

Chapter 31

  • After Lilith comes home from dinner with Petra and Sylvie, Luz accuses her of going after two married women. Lilith rebuffs her teasing since it has no grounds, disappointing Luz since she's desperate to mock Lilith for all the times she made fun of her relationship issues.

Chapter 32

  • After the near-death stunt Luz pulled to win the last regular grudgby game of the season, Amity and Boscha agree to give her hell for it. They proceed to lecture Luz while they're all showering after the game, and Luz is pleased with their Anger Born of Worry to the point that she pays no mind to the fact that she's in close proximity to them.

Raven Pellets

Chapter 4

  • Boscha, not sure about what snacks Amity likes, has her mom buy every kind, which Amity thinks is a bit overboard. Boscha also offhandedly calls it "mount snackmore" at one point before groaning that Luz is rubbing off on her.
