- From the looks of the cover one of the Spiders taking part in this big event is a little Tsum Tsum Spidey.
- Edge of Spider-Geddon #1:
- Spider-Punk keeps screaming at everyone to call him "Spider-Man".
- Also the Annihilation Wave of this universe? A bunch of Surf Rockers.
- There's a deep cosmic irony in the fact that the last villain Spider-Punk faces in his home universe is a corporate scumbag (Kang the Conglomerator) who wants to turn him into an easily-marketable commodity - right before he's swept into an event that could arguably be called a cash-grab sequel.
- Spider-Geddon #2:
- After realizing they can't beat the Inheritors with their current numbers inSpider-Gwen: Octavius, you're a super-villain! Haven't you got some sort of self-destruct for this place?
Doc Ock: I am a hero! A superior hero to any of you cretins-
Spider-Gwen: JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION!
Doc Ock: Of course I do. - Spider-Ham ribs him for the cartoon-ness of giving the self-destruct a countdown voice. Ock tells him to shut up.
- When cloning new bodies for the rest of the Inheritors to jump into, Jennix happily chirps about the clothing he's programmed the machine to give them before he's interrupted by the self-destruct countdown. This may be a Call-Back to Morlun's first appearance, where he took a breather in the middle of hunting Peter and Ezekiel to go clothes shopping.
- After realizing they can't beat the Inheritors with their current numbers in
- Spider-Geddon #3:
- When SpOck and the PS4 Spidey go to recruit "Supaidaman", SpOck tells Takuya to just finish off the Monster of the Week with Sword Vigor. Takuya spends the entire scene arms crossed and pouting over how lame beating the monster so quick was.
- One of the new Spider-People they give us is "Spiders-Man", a Spider-Man whose body is a living hive of spiders, who says how he can kind of sympathize with the Inheritors wanting to eat the other Spiders. Not that he would do that. After all, he's all about power and responsibility. Definitely not eating people. That Would Be Terrible.
- Vault of Spiders #2: This issue returns us to the old "What If?" story of Spider-Ma'am; an Aunt May who was bitten by the radioactive spider. She admits after bringing the Vulture in to the police that she's really more of a "friendly neighbourhood aunt".Cop: Well she doesn't look like any ant I ever saw.
Cop 2: Right?! - Spider-Geddon #4:
- PS4 Spidey learn there really is a Spider-Cop and feels vindicated for his routine.
- Takuya's solution to prevent Solus from destroying Leopardon again is... lead with Sword Vigor from the start.
- Spider-Girls #2
- The trio talk about their experiences with the Osborn family while swinging over the meet the Normie Osborn of Earth-18119. After Mayday and Annie finish relating their stories, they look expectantly over at Anya... who exasperatedly tells them that she isn't a Parker, so she's had absolutely no reason to interact with any of the Osborns in her dimension, much less have one as an Arch-Enemy.
- The conversation with Normie Osborn, with him incredulously summing up the premise of Spider-Geddon.
- The Amazing Spider-Man: Peter Parker #313:
- A battered Peter gets knocked by Morlun into a grizzly bear pen in the Central Park Zoo, then having the soul-eating totem-vampire leap into the pen with the both of them as he's trying to avoid it.Peter's inner monologue: I know I probably say this a lot. But it's at moments like this where it is truly hard to argue with one very simple and undeniable fact: [full-page shot of Peter split-kicking Morlun and the grizzly bear in the face] My life makes no sense.
- Morlun digs himself out of the flaming wreck of the building Peter collapsed on top of him and dresses himself in the closest thing, since his classy outfit is shredded. Said thing is a bright purple, cartoon seal-printed Central Park Zoo t-shirt.
- Peter's inner monologue when finally home and reunited with his bed.Peter: [falling onto the bed frame by frame] Heavenly rectangle. Box of springs under a mattress of dreams. I fall into your embrace, and you welcome me without question. I feel your warmth before we even touch. And instantly, my pain, my agony, my woe all wash away. Bed and I are one. And there is nothing in this world that could tear us asunder.
Spider-Gwen: [portalling in] Peter!
Peter: Son of a bucket.
- A battered Peter gets knocked by Morlun into a grizzly bear pen in the Central Park Zoo, then having the soul-eating totem-vampire leap into the pen with the both of them as he's trying to avoid it.
- In Spider-Geddon #5:
- When Spider-Gwen returns with a Spider-Army, you can see Spider-Cop himself brought in amidst the reinforcements.
- When 616-Peter finally joins the battle, Miles mistakes him for a Mad Max incarnation of him because of his severe Clothing Damage.
- Peter ends up Lampshade Hanging his own Wolverine Publicity treatment during the event and snarking over how Otto and Miles had handled things without him.Peter: Geez, you miss the beginning of a big event and you're totally lost.
- Miles hurls Leopardon's Sword Vigor through Solus to put him down. Takuya chides him for not crossing his arms over his chest as he did so.
- After all the other spiders leave, Peter wonders if he should give a speech to the 616 spiders about how they can do anything if they work together. Otto and Miles both veto that idea.Otto and Miles: Please don't.
