Nothing quite wakes our hero up like ice cream.

Go Hypernova and suck up the main Chuggaaconroy Funny page here.

Episodes:

  • Running Gags
    • Chugga's continuously lousy performance in the Goal Game, which he laments is worse than Jon's.
    • The random "Cranky's Advice" in the comments of each episode.
    • Suggesting that Bandana Waddle Dee, a popular fan request for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, is in his supporting role here "right where he belongs".
    • Always pronouncing the DX in the names of the extra stage boss recolors in a more.....suggestive manner.
    • Beam constantly getting the short end of the stick. Probably helps that he didn’t like it.
Chugga: This power-up is Squidward incarnate!
    • YOU CAN BLOCK AGAINST A(N) [X]!
    • Deliberately passing up a round-trip door to come back to later "just in case", then inevitably forgetting about it and having to replay the stage. He never seems to learn from this mistake.
  • Episode 1: Feeling Fine!
    • The Shout-Out after the opening movie.
Chugga: A mysterious new face has appeared and captured King Dedede! Are you a bad enough Kirby to rescue the king?
    • Chugga's attempts at the bonus game. The first time, his power meter is almost empty, putting him at the worst score, 7. The second time he does it, he tries to demonstrate the Pause Scumming trick, but still botches the timing and barely manages to hit 6.
    • Chugga discusses the inconsistency of Kabu:
Chugga: Sometimes it slides along the ground, sometimes it drops from the ceiling onto the ground, sometimes it teleports around, other times it disappears, and other times, it's actually God.
    • Chugga's way of demonstrating the streetpass function in the game is to have Bandana Dee show up with a streetpass from...his own Mii. He even goes as far as to feign a starstruck reaction and say that it's from "The Streetpass King Himself".
    • As a Brick Joke to the announcement video, the end card is a picture of a closed-mouth Kirby figure in the empty bowl of ice cream, with some splotches of vanilla on his face. That sundae's gotta go somewhere, and it went straight to Kirby's stomach.
  • Episode 2: Beetle Mania!
  • Episode 3: Dire Flower
    • The video description describing Flowery Woods.
We take on a familia- This is one of those awkward times when it looks like someone you know on the streets and you wave awkwardly at someone ignoring you.
    • When he fights Flowery Woods, he uses Fire Kirby’s Wreathed in Flames attack, Chugga states that you shouldn’t set yourself on fire to defeat enemies in real life.
    • When he first meets Woodcutter Dees:
Chugga: New enemy! Canadia-I-I-I mean, uh...Woodcutter..Dees. Yeah they just cut their wood in the background there.
    • Chugga reads Blocky DX's name as "Blocky Dix", and refuses to apologize for how that sounds, arguing that it's right there in the name.
    • When cycling through Stone Kirby's forms, he becomes a Broken Record when forms repeat, and when he finally gets to the realistic muscle-man statue form, he only describes it as "the man of my dreams".
    • Following the muscle-man statue:
Chugga: (transforms into a rock) Stone Kirby's default form... (transforms into Kirby statue) Stone Kirby in another sense... (transforms into Brick Block) a Brick Block from Mario... (Brick Block again) a Brick Block from Mario... (Brick Block again) a Brick Block from Mario?!
  • Episode 4: Purple Prizes
    • Chugga plays around with the Archer ability. When he uses his hide technique and dodges a blow, he remarks that he's invincible before the enemy walks into him, causing him to take damage.
    • Chugga is surprised that his cat Kirby hasn't been involved that much in the making of these videos, considering how many times he's been saying the name.
  • Episode 5: Clowning Around
  • Episode 6: Music and Arts
    • The musically-inept Chugga plays the rhythm game Dedede's Drum Dash. Though he does relatively well, there are a few death montages where he falls into the instant-kill pits.
      • One such death includes the return of Sinister Elmo!
Sinister Elmo (Chuggaaconroy): Hi Dedede! I made the deadliest test just for you!
    • After beating the boss of Level 2, The Stinger has Chugga remark that he didn't see a single lollipop in Lollipop Land.
  • Episode 7: My Name is Mike
Chugga: This is a really powerful move that-
    [He falls]
    Chugga: That sounds like that.
  • Episode 8: I Am The Hammer
    • While talking about Sleep Kirby, Chugga points out that Kirby has a Noddy's cap in the opening cutscene, and then postulates that Kirby has a basement full of Noddies and he eats one every night in front of all of its friends in order to get some sleep.
    • "The theme of this episode is repeating… did I mention that the theme of this episode is repeating?"
  • Episode 9: Christmas Cracker
    • Chugga recounts the time he learned that curry actually originated in India, wrongfully attributing it being Japanese because he saw it first in FLCL. He then continues to make himself even more wrong by nitpicking the Galar region in Pokémon Sword and Shield for having a Japanese-focused culture despite being based off of the United Kingdom (which also helped influence modern curry, as a result of the years India spent as part of the British Empire)...while sitting next to Masae, who is Japanese to some extent.
  • Episode 12: Cobra's Den
“THOU MUST NOT FAIL TO REMEMBER MY CONTAINED BANQUET AND BOONS FOR I WISH TO BESTOW UPON THINE PUFFBALL THE AFOREMENTIONED ASSETS IF THOU ART INCLINED TO RETURN TO MY CHASSIS AND REAP THE REWARDS WITHIN IT SHALL NOT BE A REGRETTABLE DECISION YOSHI’S UNIVERSAL GRAVITATION
    • When going through his keychains after beating one of the stages, Chugga starts the normal spiel of saying their names and the game they came from. When he gets to Shocked Dedede, he bursts into laughter before saying that the keychain is art.
  • Episode 13: Snake Beater
    • His reaction to three Waddle Dees getting killed by a spiked log obstacles:
Chugga: I wanted to get Stone because- WOAH! What an extreme way to die! They took that to the eyeballs without flinching! Respawns them, causing them to die, one of which drops a watermelon slice They did it again! They were thrown into the grinder and came out as watermelons!
  • Episode 14: Hot Tongues
    • When replaying the stage, Chugga gets really into coming up with a Bond One-Liner for every enemy or obstacle. They get... increasingly more desperate.
Chugga: [Destroys a rock, revealing an ice-cream] Huh, I guess that ice cream was... ROCKY ROAD!
Chugga: [Destroys a metal block, revealing meat] Hm, I guess that meat was high in IRON!
Chugga: [Destroys some blocks, revealing a lower path] Huh, I guess that rock was LOW in density! ... Yes I know it doesn't actually make sense as a joke. I just have these things to keep me alive, you see.
Chugga: [Blade Knight falls in lava] Huh, guess now you're a... tempered swordsman!
Chugga: [Enemy runs into a volcanic eruption] Huh, I guess now you're.... dead!
    • Chugga wondering if anyone's ever written a love story about a person and their own tongue.
  • Episode 18: Sucky Mixtape
    • He collects the rare keychain hanging over a pit and then ends up immediately dying, to his confusion.
  • Episode 23: Dedede, He's the King of the Show!
    • Chugga intro for the episode is him being the French Narrator.
    • Chugga checks the Dededetour StreetPass times before diving in, and notices he obtained ProtonJon's time. It ends up being better than his old record, to his lament being one-uped by him. Chuggaa then spends the entirety of his run trying to beat Jon's time, which he does, by twelve minutes in fact.
    • During his run, his first death is from being crushed by a falling wall from the background, which causes him great pain as it makes a time loss.
Chuggaa: Normally I like seeing my life count tick higher and it’s very satisfying, it’s just that… we’re on a time crunch!
  • Episode 24: The Arena
    • The run-clearing take we see is the third one. Why? Both prior times, he fell into a pit while fighting Flowered Sectonia. The first failed attempt, he simply jumped into the gap between the two platforms. In the second one, he got shoved off the platform by a spike ball, while having a star inhaled, thus disabling flight.
  • Episode 25: The True Arena
    • Chugga went in blind for the Soul of Sectonia fight on purpose. His first attempt goes fairly far, but when he tried dodging the lasers by hiding in the corner, assuming it's the same pattern as the easier boss fight...
Chugga: (sarcastically) She'll never find me up here, I don't know- (the laser aims right for him and kills him) OH NO SHE DID! Laughing Okay, if I was going to meet my end anyway I am glad it was that.
    • When Emile attempts the cheese tactics with Archer note , he is clearly having way too much fun taunting bosses like Dark Meta Kinght's Revenge and Soul of Sectonia.
    • Chugga finally manages to defeat the Soul of Sectonia. Shortly beforehand, he avoided outright saying "fuck", only to proceed to scream BOOOOM BITCH! and then immediately go about apologizing to any children watching. With the cutscenes still playing, he assumes he's just going to have to do the Hypernova section again, ...and then he realizes there's still one more phase left. Soul of Sectonia's final form then proceeds to completely wipe the floor with him.
    • Though he finds out that his True Arena time doesn't beat ProtonJon's, he's elated to know that he still beat his times in the regular arena and Dededetour.
  • Bonus Episode
    • Chugga get sidetracked from talking about Kirby's first design by getting Quick Draw Kirby's keychain, with the pistol still there.
    • After showcasing the keychains, he Smash Cuts to Quick Draw Kirby quoting "Delete this." before moving on to the next topic.

Other:

  • The preview shows Chugga making a decadent triple-deluxe ice cream sundae, with lots of whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and M&M's...then the sound of Kirby screaming is heard as a Kirby figure flies into the sundae. Then we get an alternate angle in slow-motion. Viewers had no idea what to expect, as evidenced by quite a few people saying they thought they were watching an advertisement initially.
    • Blink and you miss it, but after the slow-motion shot, the camera suddenly zooms in on a small hole in the back of the Kirby figure...right on its butt. note
    • The Stinger of the preview, where Chugga carefully removes Kirby from the sundae and can be heard corpsing.
    • Gets even better when you watch the preview/announcement video for his Pokémon Mystery Dungeon DX LP; Kirby was a last-minute decision. He was planning to do a Let's Play of Blue Rescue Team, only for the remake to be announced just days before he was set to record, derailing months worth of planning. As such, the odd nature of this preview could also double as Chugga suffering from a Heroic BSoD.
Future Chugga: HEY GUYS WANNA PLAY KIRBY?!?
