Sigul Of Brass is a Tabletop Roleplaying Game set in Stephen King's Dark Tower Universe
Our protagonists three are:
Mallory "Larkin" Champignon- A silver-tongued gunslinger, Champion of The Sword of Eld and explorer of the other worlds.
Claire Champignon- An accomplished surgeon, Sister of the Order of the Rose, and Mallory's wife.
Owen- A British spy from 1942 who followed a high-ranking nazi through a mysterious door and has found himself mixed up in all sorts of strangeness ever since.
It is a bi-weekly (as in, twice a week) 8+ hour session with three players and a GM, based (loosely) on the Adventure! RPG system.
This show provides examples of:
- [After the End]: The setting takes place thousands of years after the Great Old Ones destroyed themselves with weapons that make nukes look tame by comparison.
- [Alternate History]: Several, to the point that a common question when meeting someone from another world is "How did WWII end?"
- [Americans Are Cowboys]: Most people from other worlds mistake Mallory for a "Yank".
- [Apocalypse How]: The Cataclysm, itself caused by The Bell, itself a product of Nazi research as assisted by The Obergruppenfuhrer!Alton.
- [Apocalyptic Log]: Oh, so many.
- [Archaeological Arms Race]: The Nazis are looking for powerful artifacts. So are the players.
- [Arc Number]: 1721, and derivations thereof.
- [Auto Doc]: The machines in Craig's Facility are very good at keeping people alive.
- [Awesome Personnel Carrier]: Ivan's home/shop/vehicle
- [Big Bad]: Dark!Alton.
- [Big Good]: Gan, Arthur Eld
- [Bloody Hilarious]: Many of the party's enemies explode, showering them with goo or bits of metal.
- [Body Horror]: Mallory's arm post-Skinny Canyon, The Flesh That Hates, the impregnation monsters
- [Brain in a Jar]: Craig Atlas, in a fashion.
- [Cannon Fodder]: Pretty much everything not immediately resolved.
- [Cataclysm Backstory]: The entire setting
- [Chosen One]: Mallory. Also, Alton.
- [Cryptic Background Reference]: Oh, so many.
- [Days of Future Past]:
- [Desert Skull]: Several around the poisoned lake just outside of Tull.
- [Eldritch Abomination]: The entities in Todash, The Bends (Maybe)
- [Energy Weapon]: Owen's pistol, many security robots.
- [Fish out of Temporal Water]: Usually Owen, sometimes Mallory and Claire. Often Amos. Most recently, Bodi, Clive, Aoi and the Ice Cream Scientists.
- [Forseeing My Death]: Mallory and Alton, thanks to Arthur Eld.
- [Frontier Doctor]: Claire started out as this.
- [Gaia's Lament]: The Wastelands in general, and the Cursed Earth specifically.
- [Great Offscreen War]: The Cataclysm, the fall of Cressia.
- [The Gunslinger]: Gunslingers, of course.
- [Infinity +1 Sword]: The Sword of Eld
- [Kill Sat]: Craig's "Rods from God" system
- [Ludicrous Gibs]: Many of the party's enemies explode, showering them with gobbets of flesh.
- [Mad Scientist]: Craig Atlas, Charles Atlas and Atlas Omnicorp, as well as Dr. Herbert West.
- [MegaCorp]: North Central Positronics, South Edge Negafacturing, everything in 2077.
- [Mountain Man]: Amos
- [Names to Run Away from Really Fast]: Uber Vogel, The Obergruppenfuhrer, The Fuhrer
- [Neglectful Precursors]: Those Great Old Ones just left HEAPS of dangerous stuff around.
- [Nuclear Mutant]: The Slow Mutants, several of the mutated animals.
- [Omniscient Council of Vagueness]: The Council of Eld tries pretty hard not to be this. Stephen's Secret Task Force plays it straight.
- [One-Man Army]: Mallory, Gregory, and many gunslingers. Semi-literal in Alton's case.
- [Post-Apocalyptic Dog]: The "Dag" Lady's "Dags", including Roscoe.
- [Preacher Man]: The party encountered a Farson-allied one in Sagebrush. Carlos also counts.
- [Previous Player-Character Cameo]: Several. Craig Atlas, most frequently.
- [Retired Badass]: Gregory (though he'd never admit it)
- [Retired Gunfighter]: Gregory, and most of the Council of Eld
- [Retired Outlaw]: Carlos
- [Scavenger World]: The Old Ones left a lot of interesting -and deadly- stuff behind.
- [Schizo Tech]: Ancient Artifacts are wielded alongside Magic Sixguns, Laser Pistols and Psychic powers.
- [The Sheriff]: Ty Ritter, Captain of the Guard, comes close
- [Training from Hell]: Gunslinger Training
- [Snake Oil Salesman]: "Professor Ambrosius West" is nearly this, except his devices actually work!
- [Soiled City on a Hill]: Gilead.
- [Underground City]: Underground London
- [The Voiceless]: Rain!Alton
- [Warrior Poet]: Mallory comes pretty close
- [Weird Science]: Most of Craig's gizmos, pretty much anything made by NCP
