General Tropes
- Canon Immigrant: Mas Y Menos appear briefly in reference to former members that joined during a one-year timeskip. They originated from the Teen Titans cartoon.
- C-List Fodder: Molecule was cleaved in half in the "Terror Titans" mini-series, Young Frankenstein was killed by Black Adam, Power Boy was killed by Trigon's sons, and Hawk (Holly) died by a Black Lantern of her predecessor. Later on, Kid Eternity was written out of the book and killed off by way of
Executive Meddling, while Red Devil also wound up dying (with a planned resurrection arc shot down by Dan Didio). - Flat Character: Quite a few of the Titans that Johns referenced as having joined the team during the timeskip amounted to being this. Miss Martian, Bombshell, and Zachary Zatara were lucky to have some degree of development and stick around as either part of the team or supporting characters. Meanwhile, characters like Molecule, Young Frankenstein, Talon, Mas Y Menos, and Little Barda weren't so lucky and were either killed off (see above) or simply vanished and were never referenced again.
When San Diego was rendered underwater and renamed Sub Diego, Lorena Marquez was one of the survivors that developed the capabilities to breathe underwater. After helping Aquaman, she took up the mantle of Aquagirl.
A regular high school student from El Paso, Texas, Jaime gained the Scarab after Ted Kord lost it and the Scarab fuses with him. With the Scarab he has great power and becomes the third Blue Beetle. He becomes a member of the Teen Titans and is good friends with Rose Wilson (Ravager), Robin, Static and others.

Amy Sue Allen
First Appearance: Teen Titans Vol 3 #39 (November, 2006)
Amy Allen underwent an experiment similar to Captain Atom's and gained quantum powers. A member of the Teen Titans, Amy has betrayed the team before. She has since atoned for her past.
- Alliterative Name: Amy Allen
- Anti-Hero: Strongly Type III.
- Chrome Champion: Bombshell has Dilustel (quantum metal) skin like Major Force and Captain Atom, which was cut from the body of an alien lifeform known as the Silver Shield after being captured by Project Atom. This skin makes her nearly invulnerable and grants her a measure of superhuman strength (enough to throw a car with ease and hurt Wonder Girl and other moderately powered super beings with a punch).
- Dark Action Girl
- Distaff Counterpart: She has similar powers to Captain Atom as she underwent the same alien metal skin experiment that Nathaniel Adam did.
- Flight: Is able to fly at speeds reaching up to Mach 3.
- Headbutting Heroes: Replaces Ravager in most roles while she's on the team.
- Logical Weakness: Though virtually invulnerable, Bombshell's Dilustel coating will break down in the presence of extreme temperatures.
- The Mole: In Teen Titans vol.3 #40, she is revealed to be a traitor as she threatens to kill Raven, and attacks several members of the team to get a disc that contains the essence of the deceased Titan Jericho, but is stopped by Ravager.
- Super-Strength: Able to lift hundred ton masses with utmost ease, even staggering the likes of Miss Martian and Wonder Girl in hand to hand combat and lifting the Quantum jet above her head with little effort at all.
- Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Part of the reason why Titans fans disliked Bombshell so much is that she was a very transparent replacement for the much more popular Ravager. She joined the team right after Ravager left to star in her own back-up feature, and had the same Dark Action Girl / Headbutting Heroes dynamic Rose had when she was a Titan. When J.T. Krul took over the book, one of the first things he did he did was bring back Ravager and put Bombshell on a bus.
- You Have Out Lived Your Usefulness: Told this by her own father. Not happy about it.
Quinn Nash
First Appearance: Teen Titans Vol 3 #38 (September, 2006)

She has been the heroic and criminal partner of Duela Dent, the Joker's Daughter. She later appears as one of the students in Arkham Academy.
- Ascended Extra: She was only briefly an actual Titan before joining Slade's team, and only appeared in the Titans East arc. Later, her co-creator Tony S. Daniel brought Enigma back and made her prominent in his run on Batman.
- Bratty Teenage Daughter: To The Riddler, apparently. Given that she's partners with Duela Dent, who has also claimed to be Riddler's daughter before...until the Riddler himself outright confirms it in DC's 'Twas the 'Mite Before Christmas.
- The Bus Came Back: Eleven years after she was thought to be killed by the Riddler, Enigma reappears Batman: Urban Legends #21 as part of Arkham Academy.
- C-List Fodder: Implied to have been beaten to death by the Riddler at the end of Batman #712, and doesn't reappear until a decade later in Batman: Urban Legends #21 with it mentioned that Riddler tried to kill her.
- Face–Heel Turn: Was a Teen Titan with Duela, but both defected and became villains on Titans East, with Enigma hoping to impress her father.
- Legacy Character: She's in fact the second character to call herself the Riddler's Daughter, after Duela Dent used the name to mess with Robin and Batgirl. And rather fittingly, it's also unclear if Enigma is actually Riddler's kid (until DC's 'Twas the Mite Before Christmas outright confirms it)
- No Name Given: All of her appearances Pre-Flashpoint and in Batman: Urban Legends don't give her name, simply referring to her by her supervillain name "Enigma".
- Given Name Reveal: DC's 'Twas the 'Mite Before Christmas reveals her name as Quinn Nash, with her last name presumably being based on her father's Post-Crisis surname Nashton
- Satellite Character: To both Duela and the Riddler.
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: Her motive for joining Titans East was to get her supposed dad to notice her, something she shares in common with Duela. Later on as part of Arkham Academy, she's trying to deal with the fact her supposed father tried to kill her.Enigma: Wait'll dear old Daddy gets a load of us!

Edward Allen "Eddie" Bloomberg

Blue Devil's former sidekick, Eddie Bloomberg made a deal with Neron and became a demon himself. As Kid Devil, Eddie joined the Teen Titans and became a valued member.

- Big Red Devil: Not so big, but same aesthetic in a lithe demonically powered package.

- Heroic Sacrifice: Titans in this era tended to drop like flies, mostly for simplistic attempts to raise the tension. Eddie was the first one in this era to die with any meaning to it, sacrificing himself to save the city.

- The Trope Kid
- Super Zero: Was one in his early pre-demonification days, but grew out of it by the time he changed his codename to Red Devil.
- You Are Worth Hell: Played with. Eddie does not ever become trapped in hell for someone, but he is willing to damn his soul for superpowers just so he can be a hero, save lives, and belong to the Teen Titans, whom are very much his family by the end of his time on Earth.
The estranged brother of Freddy Freeman / Captain Marvel Jr. Kit is a boy who is brought back from the dead by the Lords of Chaos with the ability to summon historical beings and fictional characters to the present.
After being killed by Mordru he manages to bring himself back to life for a second time when Brother Blood rips open a portal between life and death. He is then killed a third time when he asks the Titans to help him discover the source of his powers and discovers that they are unquestionably evil and have actually been summoning disguised demons at which point his powers are stripped from him and he is killed. In reaction to this he is saved and revived by Sister Sentry, a Lord of Order and his powers are changed to being able to summon a single deceased's soul at a time.
- Abusive Grandparents: His pedophile "grandpa" kidnapped him after finding him unconscious and kept him on his boat.
- By the Power of Grayskull!: Says "Eternity" to summon deceased individuals, however unlike his brother he can say his magic word without using his powers.
- Dead Person Conversation: A common use of his powers is to talk to the deceased.
- Dead to Begin With: After drowning and dying before his set time the Lords of Chaos are able to get to him and make him a deal.
- Deal with the Devil: He made one unknowingly with the Lords of Chaos who used it to manipulate him and summon demons into the world.
- Death by Depower: His third death comes from being stripped of his powers.
- Death Is Cheap: He had already died three times before getting the power set alteration noted as his "Abilities" above. Subverted the fourth and final time where he is killed after torture and overusing his powers leaves him unable to summon the Calculator's son again and he is beaten to death.
- De-power: The power set he is given after his original is taken from him is far less impressive. He went from being able to summon anyone from history or fiction, more than one at a time to being able to summon one dead person who would take over his body for only 66 seconds with attempts to extend that time or repeatedly and in quick succession calling the same individual causing him to "burn out" and collapse.
- Dropped a Bridge on Him: Was last seen in Titans getting snatched by Calculator. Some time later, in the pages of Batgirl, Calculator gives an off-hand reference to his death, after having been forced to constantly summon the spirit of Calculator's son, Marvin.
- Hollywood Drowning: Averted in his first death in which he drowned when his grandfather's boat sank.
- Interrogating the Dead: One of the ways to use his ability is to summon dead people in order to ask them questions only they'd know the answers to.
- Long-Lost Relative: To Freddy Freeman of the Captain Marvel Family.

They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:- The choice to have him disappear and be tortured to death off screen by Calculator.
- In Blackest Night: Titans as Kid had been referred to in the main Blackest Night series as one of a few characters who keep defying death and he did not even appear.
- Transplant: Despite being related to Freddie Freeman, he originally had nothing to do with the Marvel family at all — Kid Eternity was originally a property of Quality Comics, while the Marvels belonged to Fawcett Comics. DC grouped Kid Eternity with the Marvels after acquiring both because Eternity used a short By the Power of Grayskull! invocation like they did.
- Waking Up at the Morgue: He's done this.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Vanished without a trace from Teen Titans, his own team wouldn't express any interest in his whereabouts or fate until a much later arc.
- What the Hell, Hero?: The Titans get this when they finally learn of Kit's fate, though to be fair they probably though he was death proof at that point.
Time displaced grandson of Barry Allen, the second Flash, and best friends with Robin and Superboy with whom he founded Young Justice.

M'gann M'orzz/Megan Morse
A White Martian with a conscience, M'gann M'orzz joined Earth's Teen Titans' while pretending to be another surviving Green Martian. She is something of a protege for J'onn, serving as a surrogate niece to him.
- Alliterative Name: Megan Morse AKA M 'gann M 'orzz.
- Cute Bruiser: Looks like a cutesy teenage girl. Hits near as hard as J'onn himself.
- Cute Monster Girl: Averted with her White Martian form, which looks just as monstrous as other White Martians
◊. - The Cutie: Very cute and friendly. Of course as a shapeshifter, her cuteness is a conscious choice, because she wants to get along with people; her true form as a White Martian is scary-looking.
- Dark Is Not Evil: Her true White Martian form is very fearsome looking, but she's still herself when she uses it.
- Distaff Counterpart: To Martian Manhunter. Notable in being one of the few superheroine distaff counterparts whose costume covers more than the male version.
- Expy: Many fans thought of her as one of the cartoon's Starfire in terms of personality. She's actually supposed to be one for Supergirl, whom Executive Meddling was preventing from joining the Teen Titans. Hence they created a new Naïve Newcomer alien with similar powers.
- Green-Skinned Space Babe: The form she usually assumes, though perhaps a much cuter take.
- Internalized Categorism: Pre-Character Development, M'gann fears being a White Martian means she is evil, no matter how hard she tries to be good.
- Martians: Well, duh.
- Mini Dress Of Power: She wears a Sailor Moon style outfit, which covers quite a bit more than "two leather straps and a speedo."
- My Species Doth Protest Too Much: The only gentle, loving member of the otherwise Always Chaotic Evil White Martian race.
- The Pollyanna: Almost nothing gets her down — her response to tragedies such as murdered parents, an evil future version of herself stuck in her head, the deaths of teammates, and nearly being killed herself on several occasions, is to think positive and work for a better tomorrow.
- Redhead In Green: She has red hair, but doesn't wear green. Instead, her skin itself is green! It's actually white however she passes herself as a Green Martian instead of a White Martian.
- Related in the Adaptation: In Young Justice she is one of J'onns many cousins.
- Superpower Lottery: She has the same powers of J'onn.
- Token Heroic Orc: White Martians usually are evil and aggressive. She is a kind-hearted person and a member of a superhero team.
- Weaksauce Weakness: Has the usual Martian problems with fire, but even more exaggerated, losing control of her form and dissolving when exposed to flame.
Amon is the brother of Adrianna Tomaz (Isis). Black Adam shared the power of the gods with Amon in order to save his life. He transforms into Osiris by saying his benefactor's name, "Black Adam".
Tim Drake is a member of the Batman Family who has taken several names. Originally he became the third Robin, following Dick Grayson's ascension to Nightwing and the death of Jason Todd, when he revealed he'd figured out Bruce Wayne's secret identity. Proving himself in combat, he was taken on for training, and would eventually become one of the world's greatest detectives and martial artists. He is a founding member of Young Justice alongside his closest friends Superboy and Kid Flash, and has also been a member of the Teen Titans.

Kiran is the light emitting hero known as Solstice and a member of the Teen Titans. She lives in Delhi, India with her archeologist parents Vijay Singh and Rani Singh and met and befriended Wonder Girl when she accompanied her parents on a conference in London which Wonder Girl's mother, Dr. Helena Sandsmark was also attending.
- Civvie Spandex: The outfit she was wearing when the Titans came to help her search for her missing parents consisted of a choli with pendants along the lower edge underneath a shear sari inspired poncho with gold decorations, capri pants and gold embroidered jutti. A choli combined with her shear gold edged poncho becomes the consistent part of her supersuit.
- Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors: Her powers hurt Dark Is Not Evil Raven, they don't even need to be directed at her to make Raven need some space.
- Everything's Sparkly with Jewelry: She wears bracelets, earrings and a nose ring as well as having metal accents and pendants on her clothes.
- Flight: She has the ability to fly in addition to her light based powers.
- Hard Light: She can make temporary light constructs.
- Light 'em Up/The Power of the Sun: Her power set, which is incompatible with Raven who cannot be around her while she is using it.
- Light Is Good: A kindhearted sweetheart with The Power of the Sun.
- Personality Powers: A kind, cheerful loving girl with light based powers.
She was being held captive by N.O.W.H.E.R.E, where she was experimented on.
- Broken Bird: Kiran mentions that while she was N.O.W.H.E.R.E.'s prisoner she was forced to do horrible things in order to survive.
- Dark Is Not Evil: In the reboot continuity, Kiran's powers have somehow shifted and caused her to look as if she's made up of smoke and charcoal. Fans referred to her as "Charcoal Girl" and assumed she was a completely different character until they found out she was Solstice.
- Race Lift: Reversed. Kiran's Nu52 counterpart has been, unfortunately, colored with white skin in the later issues of Teen Titans.
A former prostitute on the streets of Star City, Mia Dearden picked up the bow and took the name "Speedy", crime-fighting student of Green Arrow.

Virgil Hawkins was exposed to a mutagenic gas that swept his city of Dakota, which gave him and other 'bang babies" superpowers. With the ability to control electromagnetism, Static joined the Teen Titans and continues to protect his city while serving on the team.

Conner Kent is the second Superboy. Developed by Project Cadmus as a clone, he has the DNA of the world's greatest hero Superman and his nemesis Lex Luthor. Originally he appeared during the Reign of the Supermen! storyline alongside three other "fake" Supermen, including Cyborg Superman, the Eradicator and Steel. He is a founding member of Young Justice and has also been a long-time member of the Teen Titans. His longest romantic relationship is with love interest Wonder Girl.

Still a clone but no longer a Cadmus creation nor a Kent this version of Kon-El has a personality and background closer to the original's arch enemy Match without the debilitating pride which prevented Match from ever considering switching sides. See his section on the Superboy page for more.

Talon is the Earth-3 counterpart of Robin and sidekick of Owlman, an evil counterpart of Batman and member of the Crime Syndicate. He was once a villain but has since changed his ways and traveled to New Earth with his girlfriend Deula Dent, joining the Teen Titans for a period.
- Back for the Dead: Talon's first appearance in the DCnU was as individually wrapped body parts left for Owlman as a Christmas gift.
- Evil Counterpart: To Robin, initially. It's never exactly specified which Robin he's the analogue of, though he seems to have a suit more like Tim Drake's note
- Heel–Face Turn: Started out as the Earth-3 Robin and a villain, but jumped Earths and became a hero and member of the Teen Titans.
- Satellite Character: To Duela Dent, as he was her boyfriend.
Cassandra Sandsmark was the demi-god daughter of Olympian Zeus and the archaeologist Dr. Helena Sandsmark, though she only learned her father's identity later in life as her heritage was hidden from her in an attempt to give her a normal life. She became the second Wonder Girl by "borrowing" magical artifacts in an attempt to save Wonder Woman's life and her own powers were subsequently allowed to develop due to her heroic actions. Prior to joining the Titans she was the leader of the team Young Justice.
