"Mm!"

Voiced by: Atsushi Abe
Race: Humanfolk
Age: 17
Height: 165 cm (5.4 ft)
Weight: 60 kg (132.3 lbs)
Hobbies: Fishing

An amnesiac young man who gets taken in by the Gourmet Guild.

  • Amnesiac Hero: Kokkoro finds him sleeping on a grassy hill, completely devoid of any memories but his own name.
  • Amnesiac Lover: Could be considered one for almost every named female character, but the members of Labyrinth, in particular, are desperate to restore the memories of their beloved brother.
  • Amnesiacs are Innocent: His memory loss is so extensive that he has reverted to a childlike state and has to relearn basic skills.
  • Attractive Bent-Gender: While he's still clearly a guy, everyone agrees he looks pretty good when Dragged into Drag in the anime.
  • Bag of Spilling: Has forgotten any fighting skills he may have once had as a consequence of his amnesia.
  • Book Dumb: His memory loss erased everything he once learned, and he has to relearn basic arithmetic from girls half his age. Despite this, he is capable of showing bouts of cleverness fairly often.
  • Borrowed Catch Phrase: In the anime, he uses Pecorine's "Full power, full throttle!" during the climactic battle in season 2.
  • Brainless Beauty: Somehow capable of gaining the affection of dozens of girls despite being barely smarter than a grade-schooler. (Well, if you assume the dumbness is entirely genuine, anyway.)
  • Came from the Sky: First appears falling from the sky in an unconscious state.
  • Childhood Friends: With Shizuru, Rino, and Saren.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: If anyone in trouble is within earshot, he will immediately come to their aid. This is such a defining personality trait of his that it persists through his memory loss.
  • Clueless Chick-Magnet: Is the object of affection for nearly every girl in the cast, not that he is aware of it.
    • Lampshaded and used as a plot point in the Great Detective event. Fearful that someone may be after his life, Kasumi and Makoto decide to tail him for the day. For most of it, all they see is him chatting up girls. The Arc Villain, a ghost whose lover died before she had a chance to confess her love, decided to target him in order to inflict the same fate on all the girls that he's charmed.
    • During the Learning Foundation event, upon learning that he's friends with the Mercurius Foundation, Yuni half-jokingly states that she wouldn't be surprised if he was acquainted with princesses, knights, ghosts, or legendary vampires. She actually is surprised when he admits that he knows people that fit all those catagories.
    • In Chieru's character episodes, she is extremely skeptical when Yuuki claims to have numerous female friends during their first meeting. This later comes to haunt her after she ends up falling deeply in love with him and becomes a Stalker with a Crush, as it slowly dawns on her during said stalking that he was being completely truthful and that all these incredibly beautiful girls he keeps meeting up with are now her love rivals.
  • Consummate Liar:
    • Yuuki can often be caught saying completely contradictory statements in different character episodes, the most common lie being that he is a loner, has no friends, or is unpopular, despite all evidence to the contrary. This is usually in an attempt to invoke Lonely Together to get closer to actually lonely girls, or Alone Among the Couples on particularly romantic holidays.
    • This is particularly blatant in episodes that take place during Christmas in That World. In Ayane's Christmas episode, Yuuki convinces the poor girl to invite him over to eat dinner with her family, as he has no one else to spend Christmas with, despite there being no less than half a dozen girls he had already spent some romantic time with on Christmas, including Chika, who had already asked him out on a date at a Christmas concert some time prior.
    • Also a recurring theme in any of Aoi's character episodes, as Aoi christens him the captain of the BB-dan (Byebye Loneliness Brigade) precisely because she mistakenly believes him to be a friendless, lonely soul just like her. During her story, Yuuki not only goes along with her misunderstanding, but actively reinforces it, despite being far, far from what one would consider a friendless existence. With that said, he's most likely going along with it to keep a girl with self-esteem issues company.
  • A Day in the Limelight: He's the main focus of the 4th Anniversary event, Re:member-The Future Spun by my Desires-.
  • Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": Since his in-game name can be whatever the player wants it to be, he is usually referred to in spoken dialogue by a title, such as "Master"note  or "Knight."note . Other nicknames include "Li'l bro" (Shizuru), "Big bro" (Rino), "Whiz-boy" (Suzuna), "My prince" (Maho), "Young man" (Jun), and "My dear assistant" (Kasumi).
  • Extreme Omnivore:
    • Early on in the story, he attempts to eat a coin, not realizing that it isn't food. Even after Kokkoro properly instructs him on what is edible and what isn't, Pecorine still rubs off heavily on him, and he develops some rather open-minded culinary views as a result. At one point, he even picks up an insect and eats it raw.
    • In Djeeta (Warlock)'s third character story chapter, when she conjures a floating fireball to keep them warm while searching for a missing person on a snowy mountain, Yuuki asks if he can eat it. Surprised and wondering if being part of the Gourmet Guild means eating anything, she tells him off.
  • Foil: Yuuki is this to Mana.
    • Yuuki has dark hair and is a genuine good person while Mana has white hair and is a manipulative tyrant.
    • They both have a master-servant relationship; Yuuki with Kokkoro and Mana with Karyl. But, Yuuki treats Kokkoro with love and affection while Mana callously treats Karyl like dirt.
    • Both have relationships with Pecorine. Mana took everything from Pecorine while Yuuki risks his own being to protect and support Pecorine.
    • Mana's deepest desire is to become a princess, to be showered in love and protection while one of Yuuki's deepest desires is to become a magical girl, heroines known for showering love and protection on other people.
  • The Hero: Played incredibly straight, before his memory loss put a damper on things.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Has a worrying tendency to shield his friends from danger with his own body even when they are far more durable than him, almost dying on two separate occasions for his troubles.
  • Honorary True Companion: While officially a member of the Gourmet Guild, he is this to all guilds.
  • Hulk Speak: In the anime, he speaks simplistic, broken phrases at first after waking up without memories. The game, and especially the English version, downplays this.
  • Incorruptible Pure Pureness: Was already somewhat of a Nice Guy prior to losing his memories, but his personality becomes even more pure and innocent after being re-raised by Kokkoro from a Blank Slate.
  • Inverse Law of Complexity to Power: His Princess Knight powers are mostly used to empower his allies, but this also extends to other targets; in Christina's second bond episode, Yuuki "powers up" the wildlife into going berserk in the forest they were dueling in, as well as the clouds above into rainclouds, causing enough chaos to overwhelm Christina's Numbers Avalon calculations and let him win by tripping and faceplant into her breasts.
  • Manchild: Can come off as this due to the mismatch between his teenage appearance and childlike demeanor.
  • One of the Girls: Yuuki’s voice actor Abe Atsushi was instructed during recording for the anime to play Yuuki as if he was “the fourth heroine”, rather than a standard male protagonist. As a result, the anime depicts his relationships with the other members of Gourmet Guild as ones that transcend normal gender barriers. Additionally, despite the game playing up Yuuki’s Clueless Chick-Magnet tendencies more than the anime, said tendencies still result in him hanging out with girls 99% of the time with nary a male companion to be seen.
  • Progressively Prettier: The first Princess Connect is unrelenting in describing Yuuki's physical appearance as "plain" and "average", generally implying that his massive Unwanted Harem came into existence in spite of his looks rather than because of them. Not that the player can tell, because he lacks a canonical design entirely. In Re:Dive, not only does he gain an actual design, all these criticisms of his appearance suddenly disappear entirely, and the other characters begin to generally describe his looks with more positive adjectives like "cute" and "cool" instead.
  • Running Gag:
  • Super-Empowering: He can boost his allies powers with his Princess Knight Ability. With enough boost, some can even reach achieve a Princess Form.
    • In the The Magical Girl Duo: We Are Misty & Purely event, he's also the one that can trigger Kasumi and Shiori's transformations into magical girls with his Princess Knight powers.
    • During the Re:member-The Future spun by my desires-, a new form, Overload Form, is also unlocked though it needs the recipient to be able to take on his out of control powers and harness them. Due to this, only Pecorine, Karyl, and Labyrista end up achieving Overload Forms.
  • Support Party Member: Almost completely useless in a direct fight, but his power as a Princess Knight can raise the abilities of his party members to an incredible degree. In gameplay, this is represented using the Union Burst mechanic, the only gameplay mechanic the player has direct control over in a fight.
  • Supporting Protagonist: While his past with Twinkle Wish and role in the overarching story is occasionally hinted at, the anime adaptation largely leaves it as a side plot in favor of Pecorine's story. This also applies to the game, where he plays more of an observatory role while the girls move the plot forward in both the main story and side events, only becoming a key player at the climax of each arc.
  • Taking the Bullet: He protects Yui from Mana's attack in the prologue of the game and in the Final Battle, he does the same for Pecorine.
  • Weak, but Skilled: In the original Princess Connect, a strange side effect of being a Princess Knight keeps him from getting stronger despite getting levels and potential points, forcing him to rely on others to do the fighting and continues to happen in Re:dive. That said, being a Princess Knight lets him power up his allies, and powers aside, he can come up with good plans on the spot, like when he gave orders to Twinkle Wish when fighting Gummy during New Year Twinkle Crisis, and puts up a decent fight whenever it comes to it.

    Ameth

Ameth

"I... well, my name is Ameth. That's what I've been called recently. You don't have to bother remembering though, since you'll forget soon anyway."
Fio

Voiced by: Yuuka Aisaka (game, anime second season), Rie Takahashi (anime first season)
Starting Rarity: 3★
Damage Type: Magic note
Combat Position: Back
Race: ???, Guide Fairy (formerly)
Birthday: ??? (???)
Age: ???
Height: 150 cm (4.9 ft)
Weight: ??? kg (??? lbs)
Blood Type: ???
Hobbies:???
A mysterious girl who frequently appears in Yuuki's dreams.
  • Benevolent A.I.: A former Guide Fairy NPC that has evolved beyond her original role and one of Yuuki's most loyal allies.
  • Berserk Button: causing Kokkoro any sort of distress whatsoever will send her into a frenzy.
  • Came Back Wrong: Escaped death/deletion as Fio by fusing herself with the prototype Guide Fairy Ameth, but as a result was left in a barely functional state, as indicated by her ragged appearance. Also doubles as Came Back Strong, as she has many more abilities and privileges as Ameth than as Fio, but her usage of them is limited until she can finish fixing herself.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Loves cute little girls, Kokkoro especially. Can be often seen fawning over Kokkoro and squealing over how adorable she is.
  • Cryptic Conversation: Doles these out by the truckload. Justified in that anything she says will be forgotten by the characters as soon as they wake up so she sees little point in properly informing them.
  • Cyborg: Has the appearance of one, sporting deteriorating mechanical wings on her back. But as an AI, she is in fact entirely artificial.
  • Exposition Fairy: Is a source of many explanations about the setting of the story and greater overarching plot. However, due to only being able to appear in Yuuki's dreams, she is unable to serve as a truly effective Exposition Fairy, and thus appoints Kokkoro as a sort of substitute Exposition Fairy in her place. In the original Princess Connect, as Fio, she was a literal Exposition Fairy both for the player on a meta level and for Yuuki as a player of Legend of Astrum.
  • Fairy Godmother: A fairy-esque godlike being who does her best to assisted the protagonist despite her limited options. She is also very enthusiastic about pairing Yuuki up with the girls that nurse a crush on him.
  • A God I Am Not: Worshiped as a god by some in Landsol, including Kokkoro, but denies being one.
  • Grew Beyond Their Programming: Ordinary Guide Fairies are explicitly described as non-sentient NPCs by both Minerva, their creator, and Ameth herself, but Ameth claims that interacting with Yuuki and Twinkle Wish eventually allowed her to gain a sense of self, and hopes that one day her sisters can be granted the same gift.
  • Never Got to Say Goodbye: Though they both ended up getting better, Ameth regrets not being able to say goodbye to Yuuki before their implied deaths at the hands of Mana.
  • Promoted to Playable: After spending Arc I and majority of Arc II as an NPC, she is finally made playable during the game's 4.5 year anniversary.
  • Shipper on Deck: Tries to prod Yuuki into returning the feelings of the girls that love him. The problem is that she is supportive of every girl's feelings.
  • Sibling Yin-Yang: Ameth is considerably more calm, considerate, and good-natured compared to her mischievous and sassy younger sister Nebia.

Djeeta

Six Star
In That World

Voiced by: Hisako Kanemoto
Starting Rarity: 3★ [Regular, Warlock]
Damage Type: Physical (as Regular), Magic (as Warlock)
Combat Position: Front (as Regular), Back (as Warlock)
Race: Humanfolk
Birthday: March 10 (Pisces)
Age: 17
Height: 156 cm (5.1 ft)
Weight: 45 kg (99.2 lbs)
Blood Type: O
Hobbies: Going on Adventures, Talking

A skyfarer who wishes to have her own airship like her father to explore the skies.

  • The Cameo: In her character stories, Tamaki is mentioned indirectly as the taiyaki seller Djeeta buys taiyaki from to share with Yuuki. Then in another episode taking place in That World, Yuuki treats Djeeta to Akira's crepes, which were so normal that Djeeta had to spend several sentences emphasizing on the blandness of it.
  • Country Mouse: Astrum's version of Djeeta came from a village where there's no kids her age, so coming to Landosol is a brand new experience for her.
  • Distaff Counterpart: As one protagonist to another, this is clear with herself to Yuuki; she uses a sword, she's nice to say the least, and she has a bright, attractive personality that she extends even to villains. Ameth even observes in Djeeta's character story that "[Yuuki is] a fiend for helping others, but Djeeta seems like she's cut from the same cloth."
  • Irony: Djeeta, a Chick (and Dude) Magnet in her own game, becomes attracted to Yuuki the resident Chick Magnet.
  • Job System: Class Changenote , although it exists mostly as an in-story example rather than gameplay. During Chapter 7 of her character story, she gets into a pinch dueling the guild's master harassing her client until she gets encouraged by Yuuki. This leads her to prematurely change into a Kung Fu Artist and win, though she never knew she had this power. This is also why her Regular version's 6★ form is the Glorybringer job and how she manifests her Warlock version.
  • Mechanically Unusual Fighter: Her 6★ upgrade changes not only her Union Burst, but also all her other skills, to reflect her changing to the Glorybringer class from her home game.
  • Mistaken for Romance: In her Warlock character story, an adventuring couple she and Yuuki works with explain they're getting married, and they thought the duo are a couple too. Djeeta gets flustered explaining they aren't.
  • Mythology Gag: She carries over a couple of things from her protagonist self in Granblue Fantasy.
    • She aspires to be a skyfarer with her own airship and crew, although since she's just starting out and airships are expensive to begin with, she didn't have both until Yuuki became her first crewmate (although she's still working on getting an airship).
    • A couple of skills from Granblue Fantasy manifest as Djeeta's skills with her Union Burst being Tempest Blade; her Warlock version likewise has Aether Blast. Moreover, her Unique Equipment is Aschallon.
    • In-story, she has the Class Change ability that switches her base Fighter self to her Glorybringer form, which acts as her six-star form in-game. This is also how she has a Warlock alternate unit, although it's noted that it decreases her physical power in exchange for great magical power, forcing her to rely on others to keep enemies at bay while she charges her spells; this reflects the importance of team-based fighting in both Priconne and Granblue.
    • Several musical background themes from Granblue Fantasy play in her character stories.
  • Only One Name: She goes only by her first name, even in That World.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: A lightly armored young girl, who wields a sword very well, is peppy and rather nice to everyone, adventured alone until meeting new people, fell for the protagonist, and has mysterious powers that put her amongst the best fighters in the cast. Some details aside, had Pecorine cut her hair short, dyed it, and reigned in her stomach, she might have been a mirror image of Djeeta.
  • Unskilled, but Strong: Though competent in adventuring, Djeeta is just a skyfarer starting out when you meet her, not to mention having been on her own recently and leaving her unused to working with allies; gaining the Class Change power later on helps, but she still needs to master it. Her stories thus focus on her personal growth, particularly about learning to receive help from others.
