  • Broken Pedestal: Mokuba used to think that Yuugi was cool but not anymore.
  • Child Prodigy: Much like his older brother, he's talented in handling advanced computer software and is involved in advanced interstellar projects related to KaibaCorp.
  • Defiant Captive: He manages to fight off a squadron of armed kidnappers after Yami manages to Mind Crush them which weakens their threat level.
  • Disabled in the Adaptation: He's Quirkless which is considered a disability.
  • Dude in Distress: He ends up kidnapped and taken to I-Island in Chapter 10.
  • FanBoy: He has a thing for Pro Heroes as his work laptops have a variety of hero stickers.
  • Goal in Life: He's main motivation is to support his brother's dream of reaching the stars while transforming KaibaCorp into something that would make Gozaburo roll over in his grave.
  • Grade-School C.E.O.: He's in his elementary years and works as a vice president of an established business.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: His dislike for Yuugi stems from how close he and Seto have become after the events of Book 1, especially considering that Yuugi was instrumental in helping Seto recover his lost heart after Gozaburo's abuse. Mokuba can't help but feel ashamed for not being able to help his big brother with his personal trauma.
  • The Illegible: His texting penmanship leaves alot to be desired.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: In order to get Gran Torino off his back, Mokuba drugs his red bean paste which causes the jet-hopping relic to pass out for hours. This would cost him dearly as some thugs manage to kidnap the boy and take him from Japan to I-Island as a hostage plot against Seto.
  • Sweet Tooth: He likes sweets as he brings a pile of Kit Kat bars for him and the others to eat during a private meeting.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: Yuugi thinks of him as this as his past self was more child-like and approachable compared to how unnerving Mokuba is towards him in the present.

    Mei Hatsume

Mei Hatsume

An assertive and wildcard girl who is also one of KaibaCorp's greatest, and most exhausting, engineers. Her Quirk is Zoom.

  • Disabled in the Adaptation: She admits to having dyscalculia.
  • Genki Girl: She's a firecracker of a girl who's bursting with energy.
  • Goal in Life: To start up her own support company.
  • Guile Hero: When making deals at KaibaCorp, she always figures out how much access or influence she can gain from the multibillion dollar company. Even if Mei were to be fired, she knows she'll get by as her initial contract has practically set her up to continue her work wherever she wants.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: She's more abrasive and exploitative then an outright jerk, but Mei isn't wrong in pointing out that Yuugi's unwillingness to set up better financial desires when at work will ultimately lead to him being exploited by more aggressive employers.
  • Mad Bomber: She takes a liiittle too much joy in getting to see her babies blow things up (or blow up themselves).
  • Unwanted Assistance: While making deals with Seto that ultimately benefit her, Mei also goes out of her way to get Yuugi to take as much as he can from their influential employer. To her loss, Yuugi is a humble boy who is strongly against exploiting his friend for anything extravagant.
  • Wrench Wench: A young lass who loves to get her hands dirty with inventing.

  • Gravity Master: Her Quirk allows her to remove the gravity of anything or anyone she touches. It's because of this that Yuugi invites her to work at KaibaCorp so they can use her Quirk to help with their research.
  • Logical Latecomer: Due to being a recent hire, she had no idea about the Kaiba brothers being the CEO and Vice President of KaibaCorp nor did she know about their ongoing conflict with Industrial Illusions.
  • Nice Girl: A friendly girl at heart who's easy to warm up to others.
  • Only in It for the Money: Just like in canon, her motivation in becoming a Pro Hero is for the financial security of her family. It's another reason why she decides to work with Yuugi and Seto.
  • The Smurfette Principle: She's the first girl to be part of Yuugi and Izuku's School Crew.
  • You Remind Me of X: Yuugi briefly compares her to Anzu because of their similar hairstyles.

Yuuei Student Body

    Shouto Todoroki

Shouto Todoroki

A quiet and stoic boy who is plotting to forge his own path to heroism. His Quirk is Half Hot Half Cold.

  • Adaptational Relationship Overhaul: In the original series, he treated Izuku with cold antagonism as he viewed him as an obstacle to become his own hero and didn't become his friend until after the Sports Festival Arc. In the story, he ends up befriending him and Yuugi before they reach Yuuei. And thanks to the two of them sympathizing with him having Endeavor for a father along with the possibility of using his Quirks for rescue work, Shouto becomes more open to accepting their friendships.
  • Adaptational Sexuality: In canon, he never showed interest in boys (or anyone for that matter). But in here, he's open to dating guys as he instantly asks out Seto Kaiba after standing up to his father.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: He explains to the boys that he was the result of a Quirk Marriage and his mother lost her sanity because of the ongoing abuse and pressure. This would result in her splashing his face with boiling water on accident.
  • The Ditz: He can be an airhead at times as he doesn't really understand social cues or takes longer to get a clue.
  • Hates Their Parent: For reasons unspecified, he detests his father and is looking for ways to spite him while using his own potential against him.
  • An Ice Person: He has the power to manipulate ice and considers it more valuable than fire.
  • No Social Skills: He's still new to interacting with people and how to treat them. Case in point with him asking Seto out on a cat cafe date after he intimidated his father.
  • Like Parent, Unlike Child: Shouto hopes to invoke this by becoming a Rescue Hero; one that wouldn't get into the Hero Rankings like his father wants him to.
  • Playing with Fire: His Quirk also comes with fire manipulation but he refuses to use for the sake of defying his monster father.
  • Shadow Archetype: After hearing of his tragic backstory and how he came from a Quirk Marriage, Yuugi ponders how he could have turned out like Shouto if his father/family shared the same ambitions as Endeavor..

    • Upon meeting Yuugi, he instantly assumed that he was involved with the Yuuki Clan.
    • He also makes some comments about girls in general that come off as rather belittling.

  • No Indoor Voice: He never learned how to talk in a quiet voice as he practically shouts everything he says.
  • Teacher's Pet: He upholds school regulations and insists that his new friends and classmates obey them so they can maintain Yuuei's impeccable reputation.

    Hitoshi Shinso

Hitoshi Shinso

A moody, purple-haired teen who's part of Yuugi's Gen Ed homeroom. His Quirk is Brainwashing.

  • Adaptational Badass: In canon, he lost his fight with Izuku during the first round of the Sports Festival Tournament. In here, he makes it to the Final Four after getting Bakugou to lose using his Brainwashing Quirk.
  • Compelling Voice: His Quirk allows him to control anyone who directly speaks to him.
  • Irrational Hatred: During the first weeks, he'd give death glares at Yuugi who did nothing to warrant them. Apparently the reason is because he assumed Yuugi was part of the detestable Yuuki Clan. But Hitoshi lets go of his hatred once he gets to know him better.
  • Mistaken Identity: Juudai assumes that he's also part of the Yuuki Clan just for having purple eyes and hair.
  • Perpetual Frowner: Is always shown scowling or in a bad mood. Especially towards Yuugi.
  • Pet the Dog: In spite of his grim demeanor, he's fairly pleasant towards Juudai who wandered away from his Uncle Mahādo.

  • All Men Are Perverts: All Mineta does all day is talk non-stop about women in a derogatory fashion while citing which ones he thinks are hot.
  • Never My Fault: Now that he's in General Ed, he spends his time whining about Aizawa being too hard on him and how he did nothing to deserve being booted out of the hero program.
  • Slapstick: He still suffers from physical slapstick whenever he crosses a line with his comments. Which is always.
  • They Just Dont Get It: Even after being expelled for making girls uncomfortable, Mineta continues to make gross comments about the girls in his new class.

    Eijirou Kirishima

Eijirou Kirishima

A tough young guy who strives to be the best man he can be. His Quirk is Hardening.

  • Amazon Chaser: Played With. He falls in love with Jounouchi when he's in girl mode and is interested in going on a date with him. Whether he'll still pursue Jounouchi after he learns the truth is up for debate but it's more than likely that it won't be a big deal.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: He's mentioned in Book 1 having witnessed Jounouchi fighting some gang thugs.
  • I Want to Be a Real Man: His heart's desire is to become a worthy man. He also describes things he likes as "manly".
  • Locked Out of the Fight: He ends up getting a concussion during the Sports Festival Attack leaving Jounouchi, Bakugou and the others to watch over him and fend off any potential threats.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: Kirishima assumed that Jounouchi is a girl who knows how to kick ass without using a Quirk.
  • Made of Iron: His Quirk allows him to harden his body which improves his attacks and defenses.
