Meannie Minaj (10th)

Age: 26
From: Phrae, Northern Thailand

"Hi. Meannie Minaj! Do I look like her?"

  • Heh Heh, You Said "X": When Dearis and Natalia introduce themselves to her, she mixes up their names to produce "Natalia Doll", which sounds a bit like "licking a dick" in Thai.
  • Ignored Aesop: She's sent home in Episode 1 for, among other things, not knowing the words to "Born This Way". In the finale, she acknowledges this, but cheerfully admits she still doesn't know the words, nor does she have any plans to learn them.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: Shares her last name with rapper Nicki Minaj, though it makes sense when you consider that she's a Celebrity Impersonator of her.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: She's this iteration's Porkchop, being the first ever queen eliminated on Drag Race Thailand.

Bunny Be Fly (9th)

Age: 25
From: Nakhon Ratchasima, Isaan

"Did I come to the right place? Where is the edge of the world?"

Morrigan (8th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/morrigan_queenmug.png

Age: 18
From: Bangkok, Central Thailand

  • A Birthday, Not a Break: Got eliminated on her 19th birthday. The cast and judges even sing her "Happy Birthday" as she's leaving the stage.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Her fellow queens dislike her from the outset, finding her bratty and inexperienced and openly wishing for her elimination simply because she annoys them.
  • And There Was Much Rejoicing: The general mood in the Werk Room is unusually upbeat after her elimination.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: One of the youngest queens to ever appear in any Drag Race franchise at 18 (España's Jota Carajota is the only other queen to be 18 years old at the start of filming).
  • Disproportionate Celebration: Winning a mini-challenge isn't unworthy of celebration by any means, but when Morrigan is announced as the winner of Episode 1's mini-challenge, she collapses, then gets up and starts dancing and fist-pumping so violently that her fellow queens (including the judges!) are bewildered to the point of irritation.
  • The Ditz: She describes her drag persona as this, and Art and Pangina type her as "The Ditzy One" in the finale. It's unclear where her drag persona's ditziness ends and her own begins, though.
  • Genki Girl: She's extremely energetic and significantly younger/more petite than the rest of the cast.
  • Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: Takes her drag name from the Celtic Goddess of War, who also lends her name to the succubus Morrigan of Darkstalkers fame.
  • Wight in a Wedding Dress: Her wedding photoshoot look in Episode 2 evokes Corpse Bride directly, with a bluish pallor and uncanny features that contrast with the humanoid appearance of her Country Mouse groom. She serves another Corpse Bride-themed look on the ensuing runway.

Petchra (7th)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/perchata_queenmug.png

Age: 30
From: Rayong, Eastern Thailand

"Helloooo!"

  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: She describes herself as such in her introductory confessional.
  • Dude, Not Funny!: In-universe, her impersonation of Amy Winehouse in the Snatch Game, which pokes fun at the late singer's substance abuse, takes on this effect for Amadiva, who admires Winehouse and sees Petchra's impression as Desecrating the Dead.
  • Marilyn Maneuver: For the wedding photoshoot challenge in Episode 2, she not only recreates the iconic skirt-flutter, but actually paints herself to look like Marilyn and wears a dress resembling Marilyn's, making it also a Whole Costume Reference.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: She takes her drag name from legendary Thai film actress Petchara Chaowarat.
  • Signature Style: Most often sports blonde wigs in natural shades combined with blue contacts. Even her own hair is dyed a light blonde.

Amadiva (6th=)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/amadiva_queenmug.png

Age: 24
From: Bangkok, Central Thailand

"Can I get a bottle of beer?"

  • Best Served Cold: In Episode 3, JAJA, who Amadiva considered a close friend, let Morrigan select her fabric for the main challenge before Amadiva. Two episodes later, Amadiva wins her first mini-challenge, and lets JAJA know loud and clear that she hasn't forgiven her for her slight and chooses Natalia to pick fabric for the main challenge over JAJA. Worse yet, JAJA ends up going last as a result.
  • Dresses the Same: She becomes deeply offended upon learning that Morrigan would even consider planning a similar outfit concept to her in Episode 2 and overhauls her entire look at at the last minute.
  • Love Hurts: Her runway presentation for the "Power of Love" theme casts her as a tragically undesirable dork crying of loneliness, then removing the heart-shaped choker around her neck as if to symbolize giving up on love.
  • Playboy Bunny: Her and Amadiva's conjoined-twin look for the "Eighteen" runway deliberately evokes this with animal ear-shaped headpieces and revealing bodysuits.
  • Punny Name: "I'm a diva."
  • Stylistic Suck: While most drag queens are wont to flaunt their fashion sense and stylishness, Amadiva distinguishes herself from the norm by playing "an ordinary girl getting drunk at the bar every night" with "bad taste in fashion" in drag.
  • Wight in a Wedding Dress: While she tones down her original concept, an homage to Corpse Bride, after Morrigan stakes her claim on that territory, she still ends up portraying an undead bride marrying an equally undead groom for the wedding photoshoot challenge.

JAJA (6th=)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jaja_queenmug.png

Age: 34
From: Manila, Philippines

"Mabuhay! ARGHH! It's me JAJA! Not that greedy."

  • Gratuitous English: Drag Race Thailand, being a Foreign Remake of an English-language series, inevitably falls prey to this fairly often, but JAJA's tendency to speak almost exclusively in English certainly doesn't help.
  • Heroic BSoD: Her poor performance in the Snatch Game, which, by all means, should have been a home run for this upbeat comedy queen, sends her into a state of despair that is only compounded by her harsh critiques for the "Thai Silks" runway. The normally-cheery JAJA becomes increasingly teary and soft-spoken throughout the episode, though her spirit is renewed by the lip-sync, preventing her from fully crossing the Despair Event Horizon.
  • In-Universe Nickname: The judges and other queens occasionally refer to her as "JAJA Binks".
  • Large Ham: She's one of the loudest and most dynamic personalities of the season, and her penchant for messing around in the Werk Room often gets on the other queens' nerves.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: Her drag name is inspired by Raja and Aja of Drag Race US fame. Since Raja and Aja are famous drag superstars whose success she strives to emulate, she decided to take the letters A, J and A, then just add another J. Thus, JAJA was born.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: She reveals in Episode 2 that her late father disapproved of her drag career and she wishes she could still prove to him that drag is a respectable career.

B Ella (4th + Miss Congeniality)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ella_queenmug.png

Age: 30
From: Nakhon Ratchasima, Isaan

"Welcome! Have room, have condom, have KY, good, take care you everything!"

  • Animal Motifs: Besides being the inspiration for her name, elephants are also something of a motif for B Ella, as she notes during Episode 3's puppet challenge where she defaults almost immediately to the elephant puppet.
    • She also creates an abstracted elephant silhouette for her "Thai Silk" look, with tassels reminiscent of trunks, puffy sleeves reminiscent of ears, and a confetti reveal that looks as though it's blown out of a trunk.
    • In lieu of an exit line, she waves her arm in a manner resembling a trunk as she exits the runway for the final time.
  • Big Fun: She's a curvaceous, eccentric queen, and her name is short for 'Big Elephant'.
  • Cardboard Pal: For her "Water Festival" look, she embodies a pageant entrant competing against (carboard versions of) the rest of the top 4, who she naturally knocks off the stage to ensure her victory.
  • Fat and Skinny: She actively invokes this trope in the "Eighteen" conjoined twins runway, selecting Bunny because "she's the smallest" and leaning on Bunny's back to illustrate just how much heavier she is in comparison.
  • Fighting Your Friend: The Episode 7 lip-sync is especially emotional for her, as it's not only her first lip-sync, but it's against her ally and close friend in the competition, Dearis. When the verdict is announced, she immediately tears up at the prospect of going against her sister.
  • Nice Girl: Downplayed; while she certainly had her bitchy moments, shade flows so freely among her fellow queens on Drag Race Thailand that she's actually pretty nice by comparison, and as a result she was voted Thailand's first Miss Congeniality.
  • You Are Fat: She gets subjected to a fair amount of this in the reading challenge.

Dearis Doll (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dearis_queenmug.png

Age: 30
From: Nakhon Pathom, Central Thailand

"Watch out bitches 'cause Dearis Doll is in the house!"

  • Blind Mistake: During her puppet show, she attempts to stage an in-universe Paddleball Shot by throwing her gay lion's earrings out from the stage at JAJA so she can be the fairest of them all, but because her eyesight isn't great, she accidentally hits Pangina.
  • Farm Boy: Her day job is shrimp farming.
  • Fighting Your Friend: She's put up for elimination against her ally and close friend, B Ella, in Episode 7, and though she recognizes This Is a Competition she nonetheless tears up at the prospect of going against her sister.
  • Non-Human Head: Her look for the Chompoo Araya runway imagines Chompoo's dress for the 2013 Cannes festival as the stem of an actual rose apple ("Chompoo" means "rose apple" in Thai), with her face and head made up to look like the rose apple itself.
  • Pretty Princess Powerhouse: Her princess character in Episode 7's acting challenge, despite her dignified appearance, threatens to "use the blood from [Année's] head to rinse off her feet" and does ferocious battle with Année's servants.
  • Proud Beauty: She's confident in her beauty and sexiness (and quick to remind us of it) to such an extent that her fellow queens regard her as delusionally narcissistic.
  • The Resenter: As the competition wears on and it becomes clear that Année is Dearis' main competition in the realm of fashion and glamour, she becomes increasingly resentful of her, tuning in with an irate confessional whenever Année gets another win.
  • Robot Maid: She portrays one in the "Thai Films" runway as an homage to the film "Somsri 422 R." that flirts with the guest judge, malfunctions onstage, and reveals to a glowing electronic core.

Année Maywong (runner-up)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/annee_queenmug.png

Age: 30
From: Bangkok, Central Thailand

  • The Ace: When she first walks into the Werk Room, she's immediately recognized as a big name in the Thai drag scene with a decade and a half of experience under her belt, and she more than proves she deserves her renown, demonstrating prowess as a seamstress, performer, and makeup artist throughout the competition.
  • Arranged Marriage: Instead of creating a scene of joy and celebration for Episode 2's wedding photoshoot like most of her competitors, Année instead milks this trope for all of its melodrama and produces a somber depiction of an unhappy arranged marriage.
  • Bad Luck Charm: In the first three episodes, all the queens who sat next to Année while getting ready for the runway were made to lipsync. Upon realizing this, the queens conclude that the seat next to Année must be cursed and allude frequently to the "Année Curse".
  • Doomed Defeatist: Every time she's faced with a challenge that requires her to do a lot of speaking or otherwise step out of her comfort zone, she resigns herself to doing poorly and expects that she'll be asked to lip-sync well before the verdict is announced.
  • The Fashionista: She wins the most runway challenges of anyone in the season and takes to calling herself "the fashion queen".
  • Losing Your Head: For the "Thai Films" runway, she presents a look inspired by the Thai myth of the Krasue, a floating severed head with its guts dangling from its neck that eats its own intestines and uses a diaper as a napkin.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: Her drag name is a reference to Chinese-American movie star Anna May Wong.
  • Oh, Crap!: In a Drag Race first, her Snatch Game subject, Lukkade Metinee from The Face Thailand, was actually present as a judge for the Snatch Game, thus forcing Année to impersonate Lukkade right in front of her. Needless to say, the already shaky Année had this reaction upon laying eyes on the real Lukkade and realizing what she'd gotten herself into.
  • Pretty Princess Powerhouse: Her princess character in Episode 7's acting challenge, despite her dignified appearance, makes a wealth of violent threats to her peers and has the skill in hand-to-hand combat to back it up.
  • The Quiet One: While she's very skilled at sewing, makeup, and drag performance, her lone Achilles' Heel is her soft-spokenness, which cripples her in speaking-heavy challenges. This applies outside of the challenges as well, as she's one of the more reserved personalities of the season.
  • Rags to Royalty: Her character in Episode 7's acting challenge seems to be this; while she lives in a royal palace and holds the title of "princess", her peers repeatedly remind her that she comes from a working-class merchant family, much to her chagrin.

Natalia Pliacam (winner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natalia_queenmug.png

Age: 37
From: Bangkok, Central Thailand

"Hello, my name is Natalia Pliacam. I come from Chinatown, Yaowarat, Bangkok, Thailand!"

  • Big Beautiful Woman: She has the honor of being the first plus-sized winner in the whole franchise. She doesn't like ascribing the term "fat" to herself, preferring "full-figured".
  • Brand Names Are Better: She favors brand-name fashion both in and out of drag, largely because it helps her maintain an air of wealth and status.
  • Cardboard Pal: For the Chompoo Araya runway in Episode 6, she completes her homage to three of Chompoo's most iconic red carpet looks with a cardboard cutout of Chompoo's husband in red carpet-ready black-tie garb.
  • Fairytale Wedding Dress: Her garment for the wedding photoshoot challenge is a ridiculously ornate silk gown covered in intricate floral designs. As Année, who wore a perfectly glamorous gown herself, observes, Natalia's is so uniquely luxurious that it just about blows everyone else out of the water.
  • Older and Wiser: She's one of the oldest in the cast, and her competitors frequently remark that her age and experience uniquely lends itself to wisdom and tactical know-how.
  • Plastic Bitch: Her impersonation of Sumanee Gunakasem in the Snatch Game combines the Natalia Rich Bitch persona and Gunakasem's affinity for plastic surgery to form the absolute epitome of this trope.
  • Playboy Bunny: Her and Amadiva's conjoined-twin look for the "Eighteen" runway deliberately evokes this with animal ear-shaped headpieces and revealing bodysuits.
  • Rich Bitch: Her drag persona is based on this archetype, reflecting her status as the wealthy owner of a coffin business in Bangkok's Chinatown.
