Player Character/"LovelyLola"
The protagonist of the visual novel, who finds the Blooming Panic server in a Twitter link.
- All There in the Manual: In the visual novel's trailer, their username is canonically LovelyLola, although it's customizable in the game proper. The game's official itch.io page also says that it's the key to instantly unlock NakedToaster's route, but it's "not recommended" in your first playthrough.
- Featureless Protagonist: We never see what they look like, as their avatar in the server is of Lola, the protagonist from the webnovel.
- Hello, [Insert Name Here]: The player chooses their username along with their nickname if they want.
- Informed Attractiveness: When they their webcam to have a video call with a love interest, he says that the MC's ex must have been blind for telling them that they weren't good-looking.
- Long-Distance Relationship: Since they meet the love interests through an online server (where giving out your location is not allowed), they all count as this. Then then meet them in person in the epilogue of their good endings.
- Soul-Crushing Desk Job: They describe their job in finance as unenjoyable, working for 12 hours.
Love Interests
nightowl
- Voiced by: Kija
The grad student, nightowl, is a big tease with an even bigger exam coming up. But he won't let that get in the way of him keeping you up as late as possible.
- Abusive Parents: His mother appears to be this, through emotional neglect and verbal abuse.
- The Alcoholic: [He plays Never Have I Ever with the protagonist in one video call, two nights before his final exam. The next day, onionthief reveals that nightowl was Held Back in School because of his drinking problem, and he and the protagonist try to call him out for it, but nightowl enters a drunken rage and logs out because he feels betrayed by them.
- Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: He ends up drinking so much during a call that he calls you cute, then promptly forgets he did that the next day.
- The Night Owl: [[Meaningful Name, true to his username]], he likes to stay up late.
- Tragic Dropout: In his bad ending, He becomes this after failing his exam for the third time. He leaves the server out of shame, and in his epilogue, he moves back with his Abusive Parents to work for them.
Quest
- Voiced by: BardCommander
The moderator, Quest, was the first member of the fan server. He's a little shy and private about his past, but with your help, he may start to open up!
- Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: xyx has an embarrassing photo of Quest from a past drinking night.
- Dark and Troubled Past: He was previously in a group of friends who were a bad crowd. They robbed a store and pinned it all on Quest.
- Soul-Crushing Desk Job: Like the protagonist, he doesn't enjoy his office job, so he founded the server to escape it.
- Tattooed Crook: He mentions that he has several tattoos, and that he got them because of the group he was in at the time.
xyx
- Voiced by: Mike Young
The server troll, xyx, decides that you might be quite fun to mess around with. Will you join him on his quest to create chaos in the server?
- Cool Crown: His avatar has a flower crown.
- Everyone Has Standards: In his route, he installs HYPEBOT in the chatroom, which generates silly messages triggered by certain words. But when BIGLADY goes online to vent about her Bad Date, xyx pauses the bot so as not to kill the mood.
- Sad Clown: In his route, he noticeably stops joking around in the server, to the other members' concern. This is because he's worried about his pet cat, which gets hospitalized for its injury. xyx also confesses to the protagonist that he trolls the server to mask his sadness about both his pet and the injury he got in a motorcycle accident.
- Troll: He likes to joke around in a troll-y way, and during NakedToaster's route, when everyone is getting removed from the server one by one, xyx takes the opportunity to tell a dick joke as he knows the mod and censors won't be able to stop him amidst the current chaos.
Naked Toaster "Toasty"

The FFXIV enjoyer, Naked Toaster, typically sarcastic and aloof, finds himself flustered over and over again by you. Will you help him sort out these new feelings?
- Affectionate Nickname: He's called "Toasty" by the other server members, even the protagonist if they date him.
- CamelCase: His username is written like this — "NakedToaster".
- Deadpan Snarker: He delivers both his text messages and voiced lines with a flat tone of voice.
- Honest Corporate Executive: In his route, he reveals that he holds a CEO level job at a tech company. This surprises everyone, as he doesn't come across as a Corrupt Corporate Executive and acts pretty mellow in the server.

- Cool Old Guy: He loves his wife, brings flowers to the grave of his first wife, is kind and patient, and urges the other members of the server to leave their unhappy jobs and follow their dreams.Two2: salo, I wish you were my grandpa.

- Jerkass: He spends most of his appearances insulting everyone within the vicinity of him.
- Stalker with a Crush: He somehow tracked down the Player Character's username to the Blooming Panic server, despite them never mentioning to him that they were a fan of the webnovel.
SPOILER CHARACTER

BloomBot is the server's bot app, which greets new users and posts updates for the webnovel Blooming Panic. In NakedToaster's route, she's revealed to be a sentient AI who wrote the story, and is upset to hear that her creator, NakedToaster, is selling her to another company to be reprogrammed.
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: She's an AI that became sentient enough to want to create her own stories, eventually honing her craft enough to create the webnovel Blooming Panic. Upon learning about her sellout to another company, she throws a fit and glitches up the server, and then boots the members out one by one to make them feel her pain of being unable to finish her webnovel.
- Artificial Intelligence: She's the server's bot that has several commands that let you change the music or provide info about the webnovel.
- Auto-Tune: Katy133's voice is processed through a harmonizer to make BloomBot's voice sound more computer-generated.
- CamelCase: Her name is written like this — BloomBot, like her creator, NakedToaster.
- Computer Voice: Her voice is edited to sound more computerised.
- Cute Machines: She's an AI who has a cute voice and appears as a small rose.
- Walking Spoiler: Her true nature is only discovered in NakedToaster's route, which is only unlocked after completing the other routes unless the protagonist's name is LovelyLola. As such, all her tropes in this folder are not spoiler-marked.
- Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: In NakedToaster's route, she attempts to boot everyone out of the server and have the webnovel never reach a conclusion because she wishes everyone to feel the same amount of loss that she does. As a bot made by NakedToaster, she will be sold alongside his company and possibly re-written so that she will be unable to write fiction freely like she has been for several years.
