• Family Theme Naming: Her parents and her follow a four seasons theme. Chiaki, her father, has autumn; Natsuna, her mother, has summer; and Koharu has spring.
• The Fashionista: While the nature of the job makes it a necessity for idols, Koharu in particular is interested in fashion design and is later revealed to be helping design for Elza's brand.
• Palette Swap: Her school dresses, the first one being a Palette Swap of Mahiru's and the second a Palette Swap of Kirara's.

Mahiru Kasumi

A mature girl who comes off as unapproachable due to her strong aura. She's the younger sister of M4's Asahi and S4's Yozora, the latter of whom she initially displays animosity towards. Mahiru is a Sexy-type idol of the Moon Beauty Class and uses the brand Romance Kiss.

Tropes associated with Mahiru:

• The Ace: In addition to being the best model in her year, her performance skills are widely recognized by other characters. During the S4 Selection, her score was the second highest, only behind Hime's.
• The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest of the Kasumi siblings, who is ironically, very mature.
• Defrosting Ice Queen: Comes off as standoffish to others, and even acts bluntly when first meeting Yume, whom she hasn't heard of up to that point. Quickly melts after befriending the others, then even further after she makes up with Yozora. As of late, she's very nice.
• Determinator: Hell bent on surpassing Yozora and will not let anything stop her.
• Family Theme Naming: Like Yozora and Asahi, Mahiru is named after a phase of the sky. Her name in particular represents daylight, or the midday sky.
• Freudian Excuse: Grew to hate Yozora after thinking she abandoned her when she was little and didn't know how to cope with it.
• Hair-Contrast Duo: Short, dirty-blonde hair to contrast the longer, dark brown hair of her sister.
• Ms. Fanservice: Tends to wear some of the more revealing outfits compared to her classmates.
• Red Oni, Blue Oni: Ironically, the blue to Yozora's red.
• Sibling Rivalry: Her older sister doesn't see it this way, though Mahiru is always quick to give her the Death Glare and has a really competitive spirit, making her goal to one day surpass her sister.
  • After the reveal, it cools down to Friendly Rival.
  • Upgrades to full on Sibling Team in the finale, where the sisters have formed their own idol duo.
• Sweet Tooth: Really likes sweets. Her initial aura has an arch composed of them.
• Technicolor Eyes: Her eye is mostly purple with dual coloring, pale orange and gold.
