Tropes associated with Ako:

• Adaptation Dye-Job: Her hair is a shade of caramel in the game, but vibrant vermilion in the anime.
• The Artifact: The Drama song-type being phased out in Season 2 and the introduction of Kirara as the initial muse for FuwaFuwa Dream put Ako in this status. She doesn't have a whole lot to do, but since she's an S4 member, she still needed some screen time.
• Animal Motifs: Cats. Her personality is that of a Cat Girl when very happy or upset, along with wearing a cat bell, having cat-ear-like buns, a cat-like tic, etc.
• Belligerent Sexual Tension: A mild version with Kanata.
• Composite Character: Fans note that she has a similar personality to Yurika and Tsubaki from the original Aikatsu series.
• Clingy Jealous Girl: A Played for Laughs variety. Originally she would appear to violently shove Yume or threaten to claw her if she saw her interact with Subaru. This has faded away as she grew closer to her.

• Out of Focus: In season two. She doesn't transfer to Venus Ark along with the other girls, cutting down a significant amount of her screentime, and she's the only S4 member who's not been made the muse of her own brand, eventually sharing Fuwafuwa Dream with Kirara.
• Ship Tease: Gets tiny amounts of it with Subaru, her crush. But she gets even more of it with Kanata Kira, the guy who is able to encourage her to be herself and admires her.
• Tsundere: Originally towards Yume, but moreso is this towards Kanata. Despite being annoyed by his presence and his cleverness, she is very in denial about her feelings for him.
