- After nearly twenty years, The End
shows Scrat finally catching and eating the acorn that he had been chasing throughout the entire franchise. It might be small, but after seeing what the little guy has gone through for all of these years, it is incredibly cathartic and satisfying to see him finally get it. Also doubles as a tearjerker with the context that this is Blue Sky Studios' very last project before shutting down days later.
