• Louis standing up to Gutt and rescuing Peaches in the climax.
  Gutt: (to Manny who is tied up by the other pirates) I Warned You...
  Louis: STOP! Let... the mammoth... go!
  • How he did it deserves mention. Louis challenges Gutt to a fight. Despite everyone begging him not to, Louis assures that he can handle him. When an amused Gutt orders Gupta to hand Louis a knife, Louis can barely lift it out. After a few struggles, he manages to unearth a knife despite it being bigger than he is. He fearlessly points the knife at Gutt. Then Louis throws the knife in the air and it lands just as he burrows underground. Then Louis pops out and slams a heavy ice chunk on Gutt's foot, the pain making him release Peaches! Did we mention that he was able to burrow through solid ice like it was soft loose soil?
  • And even better, he did this even though he heard Peaches tell the other mammoths that she wasn't friends with him! Yep, he saved her before she could even apologize.
• Diego roars... the Earth stops shaking.
• Right after that, he gets unintentionally picked up by a log being ridden by Sid's family. Along the way, he sees they're about to hit Peaches, to which he uses quick thinking to just barely stop it from touching her.
• Precious turns out to be not-so-imaginary, and manages to scare off Gupta and Flynn, who had both Sid and Granny cornered and defenseless.
  • Precious' introduction is just as awesome.
    [Sid and Granny are standing on the edge of an iceberg and Gupta and Flynn have surrounded them]
    Gupta: Any Last Words?
    Granny: PRECIOUS!
    Sid: Will you stop with the "Precious"?!
    [Precious emerges from the water, making Gupta and Flynn run away screaming]
    Granny: Precious!
    Sid: THAT'S your PET?!
  • Later, Sid aims Precious' water jets to take out the pirates one by one, with his granny piloting Precious from inside her body.
• The Herd and the hyraxes stealing Gutt's replacement ship. The pirates charging into battle against the Hyraxes and Manny is pretty epic in itself, and makes you want to see them in a legitimate fight against rival pirates or something.
• So Manny stole Captain Gutt's ship. What does he do? He BREAKS AN ICEBERG IN HALF to make a new one. Holy shit.
  • How do you think he made that ship in the first place? The island is covered in loose glaciers, so it makes sense he'd come there to make a new ship every time his current ship is too damaged or melted.
    • The impressive thing isn't that he MADE the ship, it's the fact that he crawled between a fissure, barely any room for him to fit, and using just his feet strength, broke the ice berg in half.
• That Captain Gutt and his crew got to the continent and captured Manny's family well before the herd (who had at least a half hour lead on them) got there without even seeing him pass them. Even with narwhal power, it's still impressive.
• The final battle between the herd and the pirates. We get a great shot of the battle from Silas' aerial point of view: Raz is facing off with Manny with her spear, and Manny is fighting her with his tusks; Crash and Eddie are riding Dobson like a rodeo bull; and Diego is exchanging claws with Gutt.
• After Ethan and the Brat Pack's "fun" nearly gets them killed, Peaches finally has enough of their tactics, Lack of Empathy, Racism, bullying Louis, and finally insulting her family, and rightfully give them "The Reason You Suck" Speech. Of course, Ethan finally understands the message after realizing how hard he and his friends were towards Peaches and Louis.
  Peaches: Fun?! You call that fun?! I'm out of here!
  Steffie: Come on, do you really want to go back to hanging with a weird molehog freak and give all of this up?
  Ethan: I mean, it's bad enough that your family is half possum and...
  Peaches: Bad enough?! There is nothing bad about being part of my family. I like hanging by my tail! And if you geniuses are normal, this species is going to end up extinct! (leaves in a huff while Ethan is left shocked by this)
  Katie: Ah, yeah. Well, your species is going to be extinct first!
  Buddy: Ha ha... BURN!!!
  Ethan: (sighs in annoyance) We're the same species, geniuses!
  Buddy: (shocked) WHAT?! DOUBLE BURN!!
• Ellie squishing Squint into the ground, despite being tied up.
  Ellie: Silly Rabbit! Piracy! Doesn't! Pay!
• When Gutt is headed to kill Ellie, he blocks Manny's path by disconnecting the ships. Peaches, however knows just what do!
  Peaches: I got this, Dad!
  Manny: Peaches, no! It's too dangerous!
  Peaches: Not if you half possum!
  (Grabbing a vine with her trunk, Peaches nimbly swings in a broad circle around the two ships. As Gutt advances on Ellie, Peaches swings and gives the evil ape a powerful and crushing kick, sending him to the ice wall. She lands by her mother with a smug grin.)
  Manny: She did it! My daughter's all grown up.
  Ellie: That's my girl!
• Manny vs. Gutt. The final confrontation.
  (As the landmass rises and splits the iceberg ship, lifting Manny and Gutt hundreds of feet high, Gutt continues holding Manny by his tusks)
  Gutt: There's nowhere to run, Manny! (Gutt flings Manny by his tusks. As the ice chunk they fight on slides toward the sea, Gutt attacks with his bone sword. Manny defends himself with his tusks and a spear held in his trunk.) You know, this ocean isn't big enough for the both of us! (Gutt knocks the spear out of Manny's trunk, then swings his sword at the mammoth, barely missing his eye.)
  Manny: Don't worry! You won't take up much space once I FLATTEN YOU!
  (Manny tries to stomp on Gutt, but the pirate grabs his foot and shoves him off. Manny charges, but Gutt leaps up and swings from vines overhead. Jumping down, he kicks Manny to the edge of the ice mass. Manny eyes the nearing sea. Then he turns back to Gutt as the fiendish pirate grabs a heavy log to finish him off.)
  Gutt: Told ya, tubby! You shouldn't have messed with the Master of the Seas!
  Manny: You know, sometimes, it pays to weigh 11 TONS! (leaps on the end of the ice, catapulting Gutt into the air)
  Gutt: NO!
  Manny: (catches the log) Bon voyage, monkey boy!
  (bats Gutt to the rock wall, sending the evil ape flying far, far away into the distance)
  • In short, Manny, just took badass skills to the next level.
• As much of Nightmare Fuel as it may be, Gutt's (offscreen) end courtesy of the Sirens that threatened the Herd earlier is arguably a Momentof Awesome in that we get to see just how effective a Siren can be with its illusion skills, and the moment can act as a Catharsis Factor considering how dangerously close Gutt came to outright murdering Manny's loved ones just to attain vengeance.
• The Creative Closing Credits showing the entire cast singing the movie's theme, "We Are", showing both the actors and the characters they voice.
  • Thanks to much of the All Star Cast being singers, quite a few of them also get some very impressive solos in it: Queen Latifah, Keke Palmer, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, and Heather Morris. You can't really hear the rest of the cast (Ray Romano's spoken "family" and Ester Dean's "Yeah" runs notwithstanding), but that's because these guys are so awesome.
  • This feat is awesome in itself for Heather Morris, whose character is really just an extra compared to the other soloists all being both the leads and chart-topping singers in their own right, and she gets to be the epic closing soloist within such a select group, too.
  • A funny moment kicks in when Granny mispronounces "family" as "fami-gee".
  Sid: No, it's We are fami-ly.
  Granny: Nah!
