The Beginning (Part 1): I'm a Better Writer Than You, Jen.

Apparently, she has notes at the bottom of this story. I...guess that's not bad, but why don't you put the notes in parenthesis? Just askin'. Also, since I am a huge nerd, I must state that this story is impossible, given Canonical events. Yes, I understand that, "Oh my god! This story killed Canon!" "You bastard!" as said in the opening, but still, to me, when you completely destroy the Canon of a story, and just completely rewrite the story... why even label it, "The Legend of Zelda"? Why not take your dreams, and alter them to the extent to the point where it's not even recognizable as Zelda? I mean, it wouldn't really be that hard to do! But, considering how deeply wedged your love with Link is in your heart, that's probably not gonna happen. Also, friends with Zelda? As in, close friends? With the Princess? Why wouldn't she give you a higher role if you're liked by royalty? I mean, is there something that I don't know about monarchies that I'm missing here?

Wait... the Triforce is considered a "fairy tale"?

....

You live in a world... where songs can completely alter the flow of time, where there are fairies that can revive people and magical fire powers and masks that can completely alter your physical appearance... but the TRIFORCE, this item of the gods... you don't believe in. How friggin' logical of you. Seriously, you can't even excuse it as something like, "she never saw such a thing before!" she outright said that she has been traveling the entire world since she was fourteen, and she is at least, at least, eighteen! How could you not notice all this fantastic stuff for four years?! Oh, and if you were skeptical about the Triforce, then why do you believe Zelda when she says time skipped?! Also, from what I believe, Link pulling the master sword out wasn't Hyrule moving forward in time, it was him time travelling seven years! Again, if you're altering canon so much in this story, just make up your own, mmkay? And I'm not saying that Fanfiction isn't original, I mean, yeah, you're using already established characters, but some stories tell the tales in Elseworlds, or AU, as they're usually called. I like Elseworlds because they take an original idea and pile on even more ideas, or do a What If? tale that shows the Butterfly Effect. This, however, is bending the world to your own satisfaction. Elseworlds are different from this, Elseworlds change things to make an interesting twist, that is, well done Elseworlds, but anyway, this is different from an Elseworld because this changes things completely only to have Link and Jenna get together. Elseworlds change things to give the viewer a cool new twist on an already seen before tale!

And to people who say all original characters are just like Ebony, I've made an OC for Sonic, this one is different from Jordan the Hedgehog, I made a character named Kathy, who is Shadow's younger sister. She was made by Black Doom after G.U.N. killed people in the ARK, to perfect the Ultimate Lifeform project. She was brought to Earth by Tails during the events of Shadow The Hedgehog before the Black Comet was destroyed. Kathy runs as fast as an actual human, but has stronger Chaos Powers than even Shadow due to Black Doom feeding her Chaos Drives as a baby. However, if she attempts to go Super, she'll go completely berserk. I don't mean the usual Superpowered Evil Side where it's implied that they're insane but they have total control, she will kill everything in her way and won't stop being insane until she runs out of rings. The worst part about the transformation is that she's completely aware of what she's doing, but can't do anything but watch. She's also already prone to violence due to Black Doom controlling her personality. Everyone thinks that she's scary, stupid, evil, sometimes they think she's a Badass, but mostly they hate her, and they're still considered justified for fearing her, I mean, she was raised by Black Doom. Yet she almost never angsts because she knows that won't get her anywhere. See? That's an example of how to make a decent fan character in a fandom that mostly contains recolor Mary Sue characters. Also, see her backstory there? No plot holes. At all. In fact, can you imagine that she could be an actual character in the comics?

Anyway, she continues to explain how loved Jenna is by the Royal Family. You know, if they loved her enough to consider her one of them, then why is she a fucking merchant?! I'm just askin', you could just tell them, "Hey, I'm tired of my job, can I be an advisor?". Whatever, I also need to say that good lord, who talks like that? No wait, I know who talks like that... stereotypical British schoolchildren. She walks to the palace with more people brown-nosing her and we come to another thing I must discuss here. She is skilled with a bow and arrow and could hit thieves, who should be skilled to move quickly, easily. Ya know what's missing from that picture? CONFLICT. Why couldn't you say that she wasted all of her arrows on a few thieves and then have a point where she can't fight because she doesn't have any arrows? Oh yeah, because then we wouldn't be able to get to the sex. Silly me. We see her shallowly fall in love with Link. Ugh. You know something? I also thought of a romance story. In fact, it was a Reverse Harem romance story. The girl in question was a Hot-Blooded Bifauxnen, with her love interests being a Yandere who switches between Yamato Nadeshiko and Crazy Jealous Guy, a man who is only seducing her so she can be on his side, and a male Tsundere who pushes her to the curb in training. The first love interest she has to warm up to, but doesn't want to be in love with because he's the least attractive and is worried about what people would think. The second one breaks her heart and causes her to think herself as an idiot for ever feeling love for him, and the third... well, when he finally admits that he loves her, she says that she's not interested and feels sorry that she doesn't love him back. See? More depth than this story, and I haven't even written it yet. That's just the concept, folks. This is how poorly-written this story is.

Okay, I'll continue the chapter at a later date. I just need a break from this for a little bit.

Yeah, that opening paragraph is pretty much my thoughts exactly. Why engage in Canon Defilement when you can just create your own bullcrap fantasy world instead?

The author "fell in love" with Link, the Avatar (stand-in for the player) of Ocarina of Time. She's writing about her lucid dreams about "romancing" and screwing Link.

Making up "your own bullcrap fantasy world" would be missing the entire point of the exercise.
