• Comments: Inspector Javert is a popular character, and there are a lot of ways he can be looked at or interpreted, especially in regards to his final scene. This version, however, is really good, because it reads like the way someone (especially Javert) might describe their own breakdown, and it gives the Inspector a sympathetic but still canonical bent. Especially tear-jerking for someone who's a big fan of Javert, because you know how it's going to end (and it won't be happy).
