To be fair, the infarction of the Evil Sonic was ASTRANOMICONX’s honestly more goated version of the pasta than the OG, but still, the 2017 Remake is still trash. In addition, there’s even worse pastas out there like Mario Kart Black out there…

I think you are missing the point of the work. You aren\'t supposed to think it too deeply, it is supposed to give you some quick, free scares and that\'s it.
I mean, I think it\'s valid; it\'s written so badly that the plot holes and inconsistencies are downright obvious.

And I think that said plot holes and inconsistencies are part of its charm. It is supposed to say like an story you would tell your friends in front of a campfire to scare them.
Given how the creator acted, I really don\'t think it was meant to be that way. They wanted people to take it as serious horror.

I can agree with that. This specific creepypasta (not ASTRANOMCIONX’s cancelled reboot, we’re clearly talking about Jack Cranely’s OG version). It absolutely sucks, and the 2017 remake (also by Jack Cranely) is just as stupid. But the 2012 sequel that was only recently discovered & narrated by none other than JoeDoughBoi is somehow slightly better than that, but it’s still very mid at best

I was about to preface this review with "Man, I really wonder how this got popular in the first place", but then I remembered the reason it did: Children who aren't old enough to distinguish the difference between what's shit and what isn't picked it up and praised it.
Basic plot: A guy receives a disc from his friend, telling him not to play it and destroy the disc. Like an idiot, the guy doesn't listen and plays the game. Inside it is a spooky haunted Sonic game where Evil Sonic kills his friends (and Eggman). Our hero is way too overdramatic about video game characters dying, but does not give a flying fuck that his friend who sent him the disc is possibly dead. Sonic says "I AM GOD" and then a Sonic plush toy appears on the main character's bed. THE END!
...Wow. Alright, let's outline the flaws of this story: Bad grammar, stupid plot, dumb ending, weak prose, attempts at making the story scary that fall flat, and the hero is an idiot who cares more about fictional characters than his friend.
There's a sequel written, and it's just as bad, if not more. It's longer, stupider and attempts to create a "mythos" surrounding a character who is literally just Sonic the Hedgehog if he got a really bad eye infection.
I'll never forgive the Friday Night Funkin' modders who made this pasta relevant again, because Sonic.Exe is the kind of story that deserves to be forgotten with time.
