Completely agreed. It's so depressing that an actress of Jamie Lee Curtis' caliber has been reduced to spewing such pathetically written lines.

I think season 2 addressed some of your complaints. But yeah, it isn\'t a show for everyone.

Yikes!
I really, really wanted to like this. And then I watched the first episode. Tried to watch it, actually. I got about 40 minutes in before I asked myself "Why am I watching this?" and realized I couldn't answer the question. The humor was eye-rollingly lame. There was no actual suspense. The characters...I found myself uttering the Eight Deadly Words out loud at the 30 minute mark and pushed through for 10 more minutes in the hope that it would get better. It didn't.
The most memorable character, Dean Munsch - played by Jamie Lee Curtis, can only be described as a Sue Sylvester wannabe taking herself WAY too seriously with not one tenth of the charm of the original version. The sorority queen, her red shirts, and the collection of misfits that Sue...I mean the Dean...forced her to take in proceeded to inspire me to turn off my TV and write this. I don't care if they get offed by the Red Devil, eat an RKO outta nowhere or get carted off to the North Pole to serve a life sentence as Santa's elves. I just want to never see them on my screen again. Next week, I'm watching The Muppets instead.
