There has been a decline in the quality throughout the last 4 years. Consider revisit the the period between 2000 and 2010. If you still think so, that's fine with me, as reviews are a subjective topic.

Is there any specific part of Smosh you don't like? I only go there for "Honest Game Trailers" and don't even bother with anything else because I'm not interested.
I would say a fair number of their videos in 2012 and 2011 were pretty good(Real Death Note! Ultimate Assassin's Creed Song, and Legend of Zelda Rap come to mind) but yes, the decline in quality has been quite noticeable since 2013.
I'd say that it's only been recently (past year-ish or so) that I think they've been declining in quality. I think they're starting to run out of decent ideas. Other than that, I think they've managed to be at least fairly consistent with the quality of vids they put out, which are decent.
I love being irrefutable
I only watch Smosh for "Pokemon in Real Life" and "If X Were Real". I don't really like some of their other videos, either.

Not funny at all, but at least entertaining
Smosh saves itself from the pits of YouTube trash for having a genuine fanbase not built up with ridiculous thumbnail girls YouTube is infamous for, being technically impressive, and maybe making me laugh once or twice.
Otherwise, it's exactly the kind of crap that I hate YouTube for.
