Sadly we used to have an explicitly negative page in Wallbangers to go with the explicitly positive Awesome pages. But since those have been removed the negative tropes like Critical Research Failure still have to go somewhere so they get redistributed among the regular pages.
how is ignoring the official zelda timeline internet backdraft as I see it the timeline is wrong due to so many contradictions on all three timelines

It's the closest to canon there is. Deal with it. And in the context of theories like Link is Dead, TP and Oo T are extremely closely linked, so the info for the connection between those two can be trusted on.
Agreed, most people consider the timeline a barely workable retcon and ignore it. That is not an unusual take.

I am guessing that the vast majority of entries are shoehorning of details that most people will not know.

The summary of what happened with Heartbound is factually incorrect. Matpat did say the name of the game and the developer on stream, though he compared it to undertale. He did use undertale meta tagging and Undertale 2 in the title however and spelt the developer's name incorrectly. The summary here claims he "refused" to say the name of the game and other misinformation.
