The note seems to be left over from 2014, when the page was Frozen Disney. There's a discussion about it archived here.
I think the current Relationship Writing Fumble entry doesn't provide relevant context. It says Elsa/Anna ship is popular, but a fanon ship's popularity doesn't prove anything about the movie itself. And this: "One of the more infamous examples of the 2010s" sounds like disparaging example phrasing. I suggest bringing back the context that actually explained how the relationship may come off as less platonic than intended and, for some reason, was deleted:
Elsa and Anna's bond is a platonic, familial sisterly bond; one of the film's messages is that "romantic love isn't the only type of love" and that "familial love can be just as strong and important." However, some viewers think the coronation scene where Anna tries to compliment Elsa and her reaction to Elsa's new appearance when they reunite come off more as romantic than sisterly, Kristoff and Hans both fall into Strangled by the Red String in different ways due to neither of them getting as much screentime with Anna as her sister Elsa does, and some very awkward merchandise almost seems to portray Elsa and Anna as a couple.
Hide / Show RepliesI agree the current entry seems off-topic and could use more focus on what the audience sees in the writing itself rather than what they like in fanfic. There are many people who ship things they don't think have any basis on canon (crossover ships and Ships That Pass in the Night in particular). As currently written, the entry seems to fit Fan-Preferred Couple better.
While I don't think the relationship comes off as romantic, it is a YMMV trope and I think the previous entry is on-topic enough to justify a YMMV entry.
I agree with your every word :) So, can we revert the entry to the way it was?
Does Unintentionally Unsympathetic apply here? I know it's a YMMV trope and so opinions differ, but I think the criticism should be widespread, otherwise the trope would apply to pretty much any famous character.
It can also apply to particular situations rather than a character as a whole. I don't think the situation that the current entry describes (Elsa throwing away the crown) is one that much of the audience finds unsympathetic, rightly or wrongly, though.
Should this page be made spoiler tags off like the main film page?
Hide / Show RepliesThe Memetic Mutation entry is very big, could it be moved to its own page at MemeticMutation.Frozen 2013 ?

There's a commented-out warning that Alternative Character Interpretation has been temporarily moved to the discussion page — but where is that discussion?
