- Unfortunate Implications: Apparently, a seventeen-year-old girl who has no sense of modesty and acts like a toddler is supposed to be cute and/or hilarious!
Removed this, as citation is needed for Unfortunate Implications.
Hide / Show RepliesI just found out that these do not require citation on YMMV pages, only for examples on the Unfortunate Implications page. This is apparently a common misconception. Restored the example.
EDIT: Aaaaaand then it was changed to it all requiring citation. Removed again.

- Needs More Love: The anime, obviously.
First of all, this is sorely lacking in context. You can't just say 'this obviously counts'.
Secondly... no? Elfen Lied has amassed quite a large cult following, and it's actually quite well known. I'm failing to see how this 'obviously' needs more love.
Hide / Show RepliesIt's because the anime ended unresolved (unlike the original manga) and never got a second season. If we're ever going to have a second season, then this anime needs more love.
"I told you PCs were unreliable." Darwin, The Amazing World of GumballUh, Eccly. We talked about this. Remember our private conversation?
That's not what the trope Needs More Love means.
I have explained this. If I wasn't clear enough, then here's a message that's written on the Needs More Love page, bolded 'note' sign and everything:
"Note: Put only works which are generally considered to be obscure, please. Works that have a lot of fans do not count."
Edited by 60.231.219.75Yes, I know. But my Needs More Love posting on Elfen Lied happened a few days before we had a private discussion on the Maid-Sama! Needs More Love. And I'm sorry about that. I'll stop doing it right now.

Is it okay to remove the Broken Base section of YMMV, since it pretty much tells you nothing about WHAT the brokenness is referring to?
You watch me, just watch me. I'm calling- I'm calling. And one day all will know...
