When Officer Rhodes, after the sleepover, had the romantic day of...having Annie bake for him. He's played as nothing short of a saint, but frankly, if I was woken and told that I'm gonna be cooking for someone, I can't say that I'd have that much of a different reaction than Annie...but I digress, what trope would this be, because I'm sure there is one that matches this.

Alternate Character Interpretation is what I'm gonna go with, I think, unless someone has better ideas.

Am I going crazy? Am I the only one who sees Annie as a thoroughly Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist? I mean, sure, her life's going through hell and she certainly needs help and love, but the list of things she does in the movie that repulsed me is immense... but I'm guessing it's just me, for some reason.
