"An" mode sounds like there are more. Porting Disaster is when games are severely disrupted from such missing items; this doesn't seem to count.

I meant the entire multiplayer mode, as in the whole multiplayer. It seems that by removing all the multiplayer, which is a substantial element of most games nowadays, the Wii U version could be losing a good amount of content compared to the other versions. It will be a fundamentally different experience.

Personally, I think we'd have to wait until it does come out to see if the multiplayer is important at all. If it's just a tacked on, unimportant bit (as I personally suspect it will be), it wouldn't really qualify.

How does removing the multiplayer not qualify the Wii U version as a Porting Disaster? The page for porting disaster reads, "one or more of the following major points has to be present...Substantial amounts of missing content, such as whole levels, playable characters/vehicles, weapons, and the like." It seems like removing the entire multiplayer mode would quality as "substantial amounts of missing content."
