So where's the "author's note" asking not to reveal Calliope's appearance, or has it since been removed? It's not in the newsposts, Tumblr, or Twitter...

It was removed. The AN was only on the day of that update.

It seems that this page is accumulating entries quite quickly, and perhaps not all of them are qualified to be here. Any shocking development is now logged here, which if not for the sheer number of recent developments, would not be a problem. So a proposal: should we narrow down the entries, and if so, which ones?

Oh everything is pretty okay until A 5 A 2. Then it all goes to shit.

I propose we at least get rid of the pesterlogs of UU and uu (which are both just as "surprising" as, say, the first pesterlogs of Karkat or Doc Scratch) as well as the opening of Act 6 Act 1 (which had been a theory for quite some time and highly implied ever since Doc Scratch said something about the trolls and their ancestors switching places after the scratch).

Of course, that's not saying I agree with every other development on here being listed as an outright "WHAM," just that those are the obvious ones (that I've read) that should be deleted. I mean, just about every page seems to be getting added as its updated. I'm pretty sure the low number of entries until A5A2 are a matter of serial vs archival perspective, otherwise I'm sure it would list John leaving his room as a "parody" of this trope, given that the three Problem Sleuth detectives spent half the story trying to get out of their offices and the other half getting out of the office building.

I dunno, I read most of Act 5-2 in archive binge form, and the only entries I'd argue all that strenuously against from that sub-act are Bilious Slick's reveal as the universe, Rose and John v. Noir, and the reveal that Alternia is actually post-Scratch. Part of the problem is that reading Homestuck serially v. archivally is like reading two different comics, and we don't want to ignore the former entirely.

And in the time since I wrote that the problem has gotten worse. King Clark, please learn what a Wham Episode actually is.
