Okay, since the previous save didn't take, I'm putting the example here:
- Nostalgia Filter: Many of the videos involve childhood triggers such as "school nurse" roleplaying. (Per the laconic: "The belief that things from the past are automatically better than things from the present.")

I'm moving this example from the former version of page to here because it's more about the effect itself than anything having to do with ASMR videos, from what I can tell.
- The Loud House fanfic Tingle White Female has Lori discover ASMR and their relaxing effects. Apparently her trigger is her sister Leni's voice.
Moving some examples here as they seem to be misusing their respective tropes.
- Foreign Fanservice: Some ASMR creators emphasise their cultural backgrounds in their videos. For instance, Latte ASMR has done two videos giving a basic introduction to the Korean alphabet and language. (This trope is meant to be about emphasizing stereotypical cultural traits for sensual purposes, not sure if it qualifies)
- Nap-Inducing Speak: ASMR videos can often lull the listener to sleep as much as produce the normal tingle response, and some creators, such as Ephemeral Rift and Jojo's ASMR, intentionally style their output to this effect and/or mention it in video titles. (This trope is about speech being so boring that it causes people to fall asleep, which isn't the case here)
