There is a small anvil from Second hand lions. Walter's mother, Mae, left him to be with his wealthy uncles so that she can go to Nursing school, but later on it is revealed that she lied and went to Vegas. When she returned with a new boyfriend, Stan, the said boyfriend beat walter to get information about the uncles money, until Walter's lioness intervened to save him from the boyfriend. Towards the end, When Mae left with Walter, she said they would drop Stan off at vegas, but it turns out that Stan will be with them for a while, meaning she lied again. Walter has about enough and decided to leave her for good and live with his uncles.

I would like to thank Gravidef for adding details to the anvils that I pointed out in Parenthood, since he/she is actually a fan of this movie, while I had mixed feelings toward it, as shown in this review I wrote: http://www.listal.com/viewentry/4208816.

I mean, really. Scream? Nevermind a fucking anvil, it's a stretch to say a movie like that even has an aesop.
Fanfiction I hate.
Mods, please decline the cut. AHI-3000 unilaterally turned this subpage into a redirect, and I cutlisted it before I knew that.
