I think the reference is intended to be for the New Gods character as well.

With the below in mind, pulled this:
- The "wizard, sorcerer, warlock" gag in strip #677 refers to an early Discworld book.
Does it? Speaking as a major Discworld geek, I can't think of what the reference is (it's a bit like the "wizard, magician, thaumaturge" discussion in Equal Rites, I guess) and since the snobbishness D&D wizards have towards arcane casters who don't have to study is well established, I'm saying coincidence.

Okay, kids, remember: a Shout Out has to be clearly intentional to qualify, or else it's just a coincidence.
So far, this page looks quite good about it. The only example I find a bit iffy is the Yes, Minister one, though for now I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
The last sentence was removed with the reason, "No. Odin was always called Highfather. Also, it's a pun on being stoned."
I've been googling and I can't find a single reference to Odin being known as "Highfather." He was known as Allfather, but the only thing turning up for "Highfather" is the DC Comics character.
Given the explicit references to Jack Kirby, this has to be a direct reference.
